I thought I also heard her say something like she didn't have anything to do with it--can't recall exactly darn it--and possibly a different interview.

On the other side of the coin is folks who don't care much about language/grammar and are quite creative about it.  I'd be more concerned about such a slip w/someone who speak the "King's English".

On the 911 tapes, Hayleigh was in pj's. Another place said t-shirt and underwear. 
Like to slap them all. Did gf have the key to the back door ? Did she use the cinder block to prop the door open when she left ? Sick kid. 17 year old nit wit GF gets to babysit evenings. And probably gets to do alot of other things that a 17 year old would not consider fun times.
Mother isn't much better in the caring department.  But she wasn't there.
I fell awful for thinking these kinds of thoughts. 
They are not being allowed back in the trailer until the tests come back.
Maybe these people are just guilty of being morons. Maybe they are just not likeable over the tv.

I agree.  I think they are just typical, uneducated kids.  I hate to say, they fall into the stereotypical bunch, I see.   And where the F was the gf's parents allowing her run around with a boy that age, with kids, lettingher spend the nights?  I take it, she dropped out of high school?  Just a guess..

However,  I remember, when Mark Lunsford appeared to fall in that stereotype and came out appearing to be a very caring, intelligent man, who just made some mistakes in the past.  We've all done that.  He is another hero to me.

ummm my youngest daughter ran off 2 months before her 18th b-day to shack up with a 21 year old father of 2 whom refuses to work. I did my job as a mom, I called LE,I was told that because she is almost 18,there is nothing I can do, I could report her but they admitted they would not really LOOK for her. Please do not assume her parents approve,they may,like me,like it or not,have no choice in the matter. I posted about this earlier. I am starting to feel like a terrible mother even though I know I did what I should have done,just because so many are saying these things toward the parents of that 17 year old. Do I think she should be with him? NO, do I think she should have been playing house with him and mommy to HIS children ? NO, but that is not what we are suppose to do, we are not suppose to sit in judgment because of age or what ever,we need to focus on the important factor, finding that little girl. Haleigh is the important one here,not her dads choice of gf,I do admit if gf has done something,she needs to be focused on,but there is so far no proof she did..She is a 17 year old dimwit,does not mean she harmed Haleigh. Just saying,please don't be upset with me.

I am the mother of a 17 yr old who is also beginning to flex... it aint easy and you only have so much influence and control when they get to that age.. my heart goes out to you. I will pray for you for strength, and for her that her brain grows and she comes to her senses

I wont tell you about the call I got from her crying,asking me how *he* is going to support his 2 children her and their upcoming child...ugg my heart sank...and admittedly, I asked her where her brain was because she has made stupid choices. She dropped out of college to support him and his 2 children. Their bio mother is only 17, JUST turned 17 I might add and has the 2 year old daughter and almost 1 year old son,well,she birthed them,he and my daughter have them... uggggg. Thank you for the prayers,much needed and appreciated.

true foggy, its a toss up between her being a little dimwit and actually doing something wrong.

the 911 call is just weird. she doesnt even know if the door was broken into, she has to ask the dad. he then says it hasnt. reports say no break in.
i guess im just having a hard time wrapping my mind around it being a predator who stalks and lets himself in, only to take the time to then prop open the door and turn on the kitchen light.

She did look totally out of it, they both looked kinda robotic.  She first said 3-4 inches, then changed it to feet.  Greta asked her to hold up her hands and show how far away she was from Haleigh's bed.  She said about the distance from where she was sitting to where the dad was sitting.  He said no, he knows the distance of the beds.  She said well she was measuring or anything.

Thanks, I just switched over from NG.  The 17 y/o is like a 10 y/o.  She seems to be aping Ronald previous responses about things esp re. only using that door to vacuum out car.  I noticed him looking sideways at her and not in a loving way if you know what I mean. 

My hinky meter is at 9 re. the 17 y/o.  I don't like her inability to just tell what she knows, the fidgeting, closing her eyes during other interview I saw (ala Susan Smith) and a few other things.  I'd love to be wrong, but I have serious misgivings about the 17 y/o.

the sad fact of the matter is that there are millions of sexual predators that have never been arrested or convicted..........and they keep doing it over and over again...they cannot be rehabilitated and they never stop

I read somewhere today, that the A/C guy is cleared.  She seemed to hesitate when Greta asked about anyone visiting that afternoon.  Of course, she seems to hesitate over every answer. 

Not making fun, but if she's not heavily medicated, I wonder if she might have some problems.  Please, don't anyone think I'm being cruel.  Misty just reminds me of some of my students.

I know that for sure, and when they count the 44 that ARE registered, that says nothing about the non-complaint ones like Couey or those that haven't been caught yet, add those numbers up and it probably quadruples. I'm all for the death penalty for them.
