This is absolutely true.  We own a pool construction and maintenance company.  Our heavy machinery workers are randomly drug tested every other month in accordance to OSHA regulations here in FL.

If you go to Putnam County Fl. court records.  Do a search on cummings% scroll down to Ronald Lemyles Cummings..there is a record a long court battle that includes violence toward children, domestic violence, parenting classes,  children removed from home and on Feb. 9th 2009 there is a CONTEMPT OF COURT filed.  So Feb. 10th on the heals of the "contempt of court" the daughter is missing. Could this be a coincidence?

Also Fox news had the police report and Ronald Cummings called his girlfriend a "DUMB BIT...H" to the police.

Also, I thought it was odd he kept mentioning the fact that HE was the better parent and won custody. yikes.. I see big problems.. her affect is way off.. sometimes flat, sometimes defiant looking.. they better be looking at her REALLY good.. I am not feeling the love for her AT ALL 

I'm going back to what I said last night.  If it were me/my husband who'd "lost" our child,  we wouldn't be hanging out for interviews or lollygagging in a tent or otherwhere.  We would have gone nuts looking for her, and like a poster mentioned earlier re. the lost child on the beach, our screaming our childs name would have continued until our voices gave out and we collapsed from exhaustion.

Its too heartbreaking to even imagine...so that's why "affect" and these ridiculous interviews tick me off to no end...and certainly color my opinions.

I am not exaclty sure what you mean, Foggy, but my mentioning the 17 yr olds "affect" was mentioned purely from a psych point of view. I am a trained pysch nurse with experience in evaluating people as they present themselves. Notice I have said nothing about the dad. He presented as appropriate to the circumstance.. She DID NOT..why are you ticked off? If I ticked you off, I am certainly sorry, but it is moo 

Flamon, ita with you.  But what irks me (aka ticks me off ) is that the principals are standing around doing interviews when imo they should be out beating the bushes.  That's all. And as re. the 17 y/o, in the couple of interviews I have seen I also found her a bit "off"--whether one refers to her affect, demeanor, attitude etc. doesn't much matter to me.  In one of the interviews I saw a younger version of Susan Smith.  Another interview I saw didn't change that impression so I'm still wary of the 17 y/o.

Back to catching up...

I believe that law enforcement discourages the family from searching.  TES does also.  There are several reasons for this, but one important one is, if the family was involved then they could search the sight were they did something bad and distroy the evidence.  There are other reasons.

Having the media on your side and keeping your child's face before the public is very important.

I have been thinking about the back door and wondering if the girlfriend had a key. After thinking about it, I realized that I couldn't begin to tell you where the key to my back door is. If I was going to try and go out at night without anyone seeing me, I would use the back door. I know someone that lived in a mobile home and the storm door would often lock when it shut. She called us a couple of times because she was locked out, when the door had blown shut.  She finally started putting something in front of the storm door so that it wouldn't close completely and lock her out.

I am thinking that they will only lift the prints of the father and the girlfriend (which they will write a side note stating that the 2 live there and touch it frequently)  It would be interesting to see if it was wiped clean.

I remember on the 911 call they tell them to leave the door alone, not to touch it.  And I think I remember Nancy Grace mentioning fingerprints.  But "evidence" was taken, we do not know what it was.

I also think if the father passed the poly there would be no reason for them to withhold that info.  the gf maybe because she is a minor, but than again who knows if a crime has not been charged, maybe no results released.

theyre testing everything and are not allowing anyone back in the trailer at this time.

Sorry, but I don't really like the bio mom, after looking at her website and her interviews with her lack of interest in Haleigh and Junior she bothers me.  They've had shared custody for 3 yrs and she does not even know why Haleigh missed so much school?  Why not call the school to ask?  And as much as some are upset w/the father for not activily looking, why is she standing 30feet from him and not getting the stories straight from his mouth or his mothers at the least?  I would of marched my butt over to this man and demanded the answers from him and the gf, police be damned.
