Casey Anthony doubled over and began to hyperventilate when Orange County Jail officials told her in December that the remains of a small child were found just a short walk from her parents' home.

Orange County sheriff's officials made sure her reaction was caught on video and instructed jail corrections officers to closely monitor her reaction, a source told the Orlando Sentinel on Friday.

At that time, no one knew whose bones an Orange County meter reader had stumbled upon near Suburban Drive on Dec.11. Orange County's medical examiner confirmed Dec.19 that the remains were those of 2-year-old Caylee Marie Anthony.

Casey Anthony has been held without bail at the Orange County Jail since her indictment in October on a first-degree murder charge in the death of her daughter. She has pleaded not guilty.

The video of her reaction was later reviewed. Statements were taken from the Orange County Jail corrections officers who told Anthony of the discovery, according to documents released earlier this week from the State Attorney's Office.

Marti Mackenzie, a spokeswoman for Anthony's attorney, José Baez, e-mailed a statement to the Sentinel on Friday denouncing what happened.

"It is outrageous and cruel that they were standing by to record her emotions," Mackenzie said. "Let's call this the latest in a 'tape and release' strategy that the Sheriff's Office seems to have used since Casey was first arrested. Even if it's not their primary motive, the release of this kind of information has to have an influence on viewers and readers. Just look at the blogs."

The Orange County Sheriff's Office refused to release a copy of the videotape to the Sentinel, saying it was evidence in an ongoing criminal investigation, said Deputy Carlos Padilla, a sheriff's spokesman. If the tape is turned over to the State Attorney's Office as part of the prosecution's case, it could then become a public record.

Jail officials would not comment about the video or confirm its existence.

"As we have consistently stated, we do not report reaction or demeanor of any inmate in our custody," Orange County Jail spokesman Allen Moore said in an e-mailed statement. "Further, Orange County Corrections will not reveal any information about law enforcement investigations or requests."

OMG, well id love to see that.  She was only hyperventilating cos she knew her murdering arse had been busted.  We didnt see her crack up in previous findings, hell no, the brazen hussy even had the nerve to say pfft they havent even found caylees clothes yet.  If that Marti Mackenzie thinks she can run with that sympathy plot, well she needs a big lesson on life, and the whole world will be pissing on her words.  OMG how can any woman defend that pond dwelling baby killer is beyond me.  Must be desperate for a...oh i wont say no more.  zips lips

you know what we have to do?  is decipher all the code talk.  I have been thinking, maybe if I had more time, i would make a page with the code talk and have it all in a page in front of us.  Cindy talks in code, lee talks in code, kc talks shit  but in code. 
Just perhaps the immediate family from the first doc dumps, we could then read it, and anylise it with what we know now.  I better go to bed.  I gotta work in the morning.  Bloody jaws  now i will have nightmares

Since it is in the wee hours of the morning here, does anyone know how to wipe clean the information in an old cell phone?? I want to start a cell phone drive to donate to a battered women's shelter and want to make sure that the previous owners info is removed. Haven't a clue on how to do this. TIA 

I worked in the wireless industry for a few years.  If it is a GSM phone (uses a Sim card) you will have to manually go through all menus and delete memory on SIM card and on PHONE.  Cell phone sales people from whichever company you have should be more than happy to do it for you in the mall or In-line store, they have little machines that they can plug into the phone to wipe it clean.

Former prosecutor Jeanine Pirro, who has her own show, wasn't buying the 2003 explanation. The handwriting is different, Pirro told Meredith Vieira. "In 2003, it looks more like a kid with the circles. In 2008, it's a different kind of script," Pirro said. "It suggests to me it's five years later."

not saying her theory is wrong ... I do think it could have been written in 08 and the date 03 just put there or the book was started in 03 and she rarely wrote in it.

I can change my handwriting depending on my mood and how much time I have. It can be very neat and "loopy" or plain old chicken scratch. Plus I have a couple of different ways of writing letters such as A's M's etc.

And I would never want my handwriting analyzed they'd think I was cuckoo. 

Hello everyone!  Way behind reading, but this post caught my attention.  As far as handwriting analysis goes, you can change the way you make various letters, but because your mind stops and consciously makes that decision, unconsciously the degree of pressure with which you have been pressing the pen/pencil down to write also subsequently changes.  Handwriting analysis also checks for consistency of stroke patterns and directional slanting, repeated height and alignment of letters, etc.  All of these are affected when you consciously choose your strokes.  If you examine your own writing from past to present (skip the "artsy" /"cutesy"/in-style letters), you can see the changes pretty clearly.  Most people immediately notice their handwriting has become far sloppier.

I know my handwriting has gone way downhill over the last 20 years.   I used to have beautiful cursive writing (thanks to the nuns in the Catholic schools).   Now, I have chicken scratch.

Also, I can't wait to see James Hoover's interview.    You know his story is going to be totally opposite from DCasey's story.   I wonder if Hoover was actually working for LP or LE.   Maybe he was a spy.    just thinking outloud.
