Sorry for the O/T -   Boyzmom - I was reading back last night - and saw your question about airports in DC.   All three are good - but Reagan National has a short runway - so I don't care too much for that.    It is the most convenient for being in the middle of DC, though.   Dulles and BWI are both very nice.   I usually use BWI only because it is the one closest to my home.    Your son should be ok flying into any of them, though.     Good luck with his trip.

JSM - your birthday trip to DC should be a lot of fun.   Cherry blossoms should be out.   My daughter's bday is March 11.
I was hoping the cherry blossoms would be out. My birthday is the 12th. I'm not sure where we are flying into, I hope not Reagan.

I like Reagan and have flown into it hundreds of times. I dislike BWI because high flight traffic.

Reagan does has a nice view of DC as you're coming in - all of the airports are fine, really.    I've never had any problems at BWI - I must be flying in/out at the right times.    You won't have any problems JSM!   You'll have a blast.  So much to do and see in DC.

Night monkeys, PLEASE be nice tonight. JSM wants to see a calm cage in the morning. Klaas could you please post the valium kitty if the cage goes to fighting tonight? TIA JSM

Good night!    BTW - I also got stuck watching Hee Haw and L. Welk as a child.    But, hey - we turned out OK!

Hey Sassy, thanks to you and JSM for the reminder and the smiles. My brother is 9 years older then me, and the whole family, grandma and grandpa too, used to sit around watching Lawrence Welk together. My favorite memory is a whole room full of family, I was about 9 or 10, I was sitting by him and we were all singing Christmas carols with the Lawrence Welk show. To this day that memory always makes me smile.
You are welcome Gabby. Maybe if they had shows like that on tv nowdays we wouldn't have as many thuggy thugs running around this world. JMO JSM

Yep.  We may have been "square" - but at least we were taught to care!      (oh how corny).     Those were the good old days.

The question on my mind is why does this family get a free pass on everything they do?
They wont - God has it all written down.

So does LE.........just WAIT until after the trial......Patience monkeys~~

Brings to mind....give them enough rope and they will hang themselves.

Memories?

How about Sing Along With Mitch.

And the lyrics were on the screen for singing along.

Don't feel bad Boo!  You're not alone!  I think there were quite a few of us that got banned over there...

I never get banned, I never say anything. I just watch the insanity.

We had to fill out papers for a background check so we can tour the Pentagon and some other places, I think the White House maybe. I thought anyone could tour these places, but I guess not. My mom asked if I have ever written threatening letters to anyone. The only mean letter I would ever write would be to KC in jail.

My parents had me and my sister really young in the 60's. I'm glad they were square and not the partying type. My mom was 2 years younger than KC when I was born and my sister came 11 months later. I thank God every night that my parents had good heads on their shoulders back then and didn't join some kind of hippie commune or whatever they were called.

Thanks sleddog! I am a very DUMB monkey. I flew home from there when I went to Virginia because we couldn't get a flight out of the other airport we were to originally fly home out of. I like that airport, it had a Quiznos and ice cream.

That makes sense. We had to get some kind of permission slip or something from the congressman here and evidently not everyone gets them. So sad 9/11 changed so much. Do you think there will be any Admiral's at the Pentagon? I promise I won't stalk them.
