I had pp depression very bad with my second daughter, and here comes a stupid question, actually something I never thought about, can one get pp depression from a miscarriage? If so maybe the defense will  go with something like that. Don't believe it will work, but who knows anymore with anything?

MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE
1 Coffee Mug
4 tablespoons flour(that's plain flour, not self-rising)
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons baking cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)
Some nuts (optional)
Small splash of vanilla

Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well . Add the egg and mix thoroughly.
Pour in the milk and oil and mix well.
Add the chocolate chips (if using)and vanilla, and mix again.
Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes on high. The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed!
Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired.
EAT! (this can serve 2 if you want to share!)
And why is this the most dangerous cake recipe in the world? Because now we are all only 5 minutes away from chocolate cake at any time of the day or night!   

Not fair boo, I told you I was giving up sweets and junk for Lent, so I ate a chocolate pudding/brownie sundae on Friday. I may go for banana pudding today.

I gotta tell you that I think that the DP would be a grave mistake. It really doesn't have anything to do with boo-hooing over Casey. I just don't think it would accomplish anything AND increase the possibility of her walking away.

She is {was} so social. Even Amy said she could NOT be alone and just talked and talked. This new life of hers must be horrid for her and certainly is screwing with her mind.

I wonder?????? Does anyone think post-partum blues coupled with the demands of Cindy be a defence??? It's the only thing I can think that would keep Linda Biden and the rest supporting her. Has this ever been discussed?

Normally, I want the DP. But if that can't feasibly be done, LWOP is good enough. I was very encouraged by the article posted yesterday about the inmates wanting a piece of her. Her life wouldn't be the happy little time she is having now, it would be filled with terror around each corner, wondering if someone is going to get her that day.

Boo, I'm with you!  One reason I usually go for the DP in these cases is because so many times the perp paroles out, even tho they get LWOP.  Scares me to think that Casey might parole out down the road, and that would be SO very wrong, for so many reasons.   

And then of course, that brings up my pizzzzzed off feelings about inmates having access to a library full of info that could help them fight their cases.  Seems they don't have much to do except pore over those law books, looking for the tiniest loophole in their own case.  And sometimes they find one and try getting their sentence overturned, sometimes it works.  Sigh. 

I'm all for advocating the rights of others!!  It just seems to me that inmates having access to a library full of law books, is crossing the line in more ways than one.  ---> IMO <---

I don't know if you can ppd with a miscarriage, but I do know they can't use it as a defense. No physical proof she was ever pg at that time. No doctor's visit, no hospital visit after the miscarriage. The defense can't use a figment of her imagination as a defense, or can they?

Why not? They are trying to use the Zanie defense and that's a figment of her imagination!!

  Oh forgot about that figment. Well I guess she can use that as a defense. Along with the one armed man from the Fugitive.

She might not know it, but she'll be a lot safer in prison than she would be on the street.  I don't care if she finds Jesus, gets a law degree, or what!

Does anyone know anything about this guy or his website?  I stumbled upon it one other time and he was saying that Casey had plugged up the toilet in her cell with her bible.  I did not see that anywhere else and wondered where this guy was getting his info

I don't know anything about this guy.   I just stumbled upon this article when I was looking around this morning.   I also saw his article on the toilet fiasco.  I thought that was probably BS.   This might be, also.   I guess we'll find out, eventually!

It looks like his main claim to fame is that he is an herbalist.  Interesting.  It would sure be nice if this were true.  It would be a slam dunk for sure, but I am afraid it is too much to hope for.
