Hi everyone..
I was not sure if people were taking what Lawrence had written as an attack on the family..
I am happy to read that people do not.

I hit a key on my keyboard and the damn thing posted.. So it came out rough and I would have cleaned it up and made it sound sweet.. But as it is here at scared monkeys, when you post, you had better had it right the first time because you have no way to correct yourself.

I did take it as an attack on the family. Specifically this part>>>"No one can protect your kids better than you, if you care . . . stop being so selfish and pay attention to your kids."

And what L. said makes me mad.

Well, all I can say to Mr. Olmstead is he better not be directing his remarks to anyone in Amber's family. She was not allowed a myspace or facebook account, like so many teenagers. She got great grades, and was involved with 4-H, did not do drugs or dress inappropriately. She loves animals and from all accounts is an all around well-balanced teen. This would indicate to me and many others that Amber's family was anything BUT selfish and THEY DID pay attention to Amber!

Please give this email to someone who understand technical jargon (computer stuff).
This email is about 10 pages long!
Might be useful, might not be useful...

On youtube...

.

Someone posted a video about Amber, and then took it down...

the thumbnail was still there, at the time, and I was able to find it in a youtube search engine. Well, naturally curious, I downloaded the photo thumbnail. This person also has been commenting with all the other anonymous people on youtube. The thumbnail included a photo shot of a search engine which included the letters and word "search D D Y"

Someone also suggested I use a physic...

Well, I put the two together. DD meant "Dream Diaries" and Y meant the reason why.

Dream Diaries is simply a place online where people, or a person post diaries about stuff they seen in their dreams.

I do not believe in supernatural stuff or anything… but perhaps this person just happened to be right on this one person.

The posting claimed Amber was safe are in Tijuana Mexico. OK, that explained the “D D” part of the post.

Now for the “Y” portion.

People claiming to be friends of Amber have been correcting me on my theories which I post on youtube… by stating for sure, with 100% certainty of what Amber did not do and what did not happen to Amber. Each post comes from a unique user.

...also, the videos I posted on youtube allow me to see the demographic locations of users who view my videos.

One theory none of her friends will dispute is that Amber had some sort of cruel prank played on her on Valentine’s Day.

No one has yet to dispute the possibility that a friend borrowed someone’s phone to play this prank.

Now on the more computer jargon about the video views.

On the 7th, 8th and 9th of March, someone was giving me clue from Mexico…

Views for the video “Amber Dubois Missing: why was her cell phone turned on”

Some came from Mexico. More views came from Canada… which seems strange. I can’t see why someone in Canada would be interested in Amber. But there are certainly people in Canada and Mexico interested in Amber.

A day later, when I posted a video asking if Amber was in Mexico…

It quickly got marked as spam, and “thumbs down” and I had to take it down.

The video became very unpopular…

Amber’s friends are so sure of what Amber did not do… they are very quick to strike down certain theories I initially had about Amber, but not other theories I still have. Also, they were able to provide me with some details I could not easily get from news sources (at the time).

Now on to more technical jargon about the youtube account I created.

Youtube allows me to see a lot of things about the people who view any videos I post online.

Now I mentioned a few things earlier in this letter.

Some video views came from Mexico. More views came from Canada… which seems strange. I can’t see why someone in Canada would be interested in Amber. But there are certainly people in Canada and Mexico interested in Amber.

The only states in America that seem to be interested at

#1 Indiana,

#2 Florida

#3 California

#4 New Jersey (current)

#5 Michigan.

$6 New York (recent)

And one or two views in Texas…

But Canada and Mexico make up about 40% of my total views!

The next few pages are full of technical computer jargon!

Views from Canada: title of video followed by percentage.

Most views were by “unique users” who kept visiting… not random views.

2nd, 3rd, 4th, of this month, and again on the 7th, 8th, and 9th of this month.

Now let’s look at Mexico… where someone gave me some really good information about Ambers cell phone (title of video followed by percentage of views from that location)

“Amber Dubois Missing... Why was her cell phone turned on & voice mail checked”

100%

http://insight.youtube.com/video-analytics/static/ifp/clear.cache.gif

http://insight.youtube.com/video-analytics/static/ifp/clear.cache.gifAll views were on the 7th, 8th, and 9th of this month…

Now this strikes me as a little odd!

Why is someone is Mexico viewing these vids, and how do they know so much?

The video views for America are more complex…

Unique users are the majority… and keeping replaying the same videos…

There are hardly any random viewers…

Most of these I bet are friends of Amber.

For the video

“Amber Dubois Missing... Why was her cell phone turned on & voice mail”.

New Jersey shows up as a hot spot…

So does California.

60 % of views are from unique users from California..

About %40 from New Jersey

And about 20% are unique users from Indiana.

Now for the video

“Amber Dubois Missing... Why was her cell phone turned on & voice mail”

I get the exact same statistics…

For the third most popular video…

“AMBER LEEANNE DUBOIS: a pitch for the angels”…

Its sort of a mess.

Most everyone is a unique user in each location

California having about 5 unique users every other day since March 2nd…

Texas having unique views on on the 1st and 2nd of March

The same is true for Indiana on those specific days.

Michigan gets most of the unique hits on the 2nd of March…

New Mexico gets all of its hits on the 3rd of March…

New York gets most unique hits on the 3rd, 4th (most) and then again on the 8th and 9th of March…

Now New Jersey is getting all the unique user hits…

7th, 8th, 9th and 11th is unusually high!

Conclusion:

It’s like the unique views keeps switching locations across America!
If and only if it were the same unique user... then someone is traveling!
Like if someone were driving or moving by train!

If you have trouble understanding the Jargon...
email me
!

Of course... the user data at Youtube is not 100% reliable!

I get the jargon, for the most part. What exactly constitutes someone as a "unique" user on youtube vs. a regular user?

I am owndering if Amber has family in those states with high viewing rates? If it were my out of state family member gone missing you better believe id be googling and youtubing their name! But the Mexico thing...that is strange. Im only like 20 minutes from Escondido and I dont see flyers or hear anything about her here, how would anyone in Mexico? UNLESS...its an American living in Mexico (lots of them do!) and it hit home with them...and their following up?

BUt I think its awesome that your keeping tabs on the users, keep that up! You never knkow what you might stumble upon. Im gonna go check out your videos so you'll likley have another hit from Cali!! =]Report

A unique user is someone who watches the same video over and over again.
A random user watches it once.
Most people will watch a video only once... not five or ten times.
On certain days, the unique users were from specific states...

The trail ends in New Jersey... and remains in New Jersey.

The unique user hit each state on a specific date.

The Mexico signal threw me off to...

Could all be a coincidence.

Family in Canada huh.

Well, it would do me no good to keep track of information now that I have posted this info.

It's impossible for me to draw any real conclusions anyway...
But I think Amber's friends are going to present an idea to Amber's immediate family about how to gain more useful tips. (Can't really talk about it)

On youtube, I originally posted several theories... which either got a response, or thumbs down.
there seems to be more 'anonymous" positive response to the prank theory.

I am still leaning more towards the prank theory at this point.
as in, one played at Amber's expense.
there was a facebook account for an Amber Leeanne Dubois... in which, neither Amber nor any of her friends had any photos... leading me to believe that the person who made all the accounts might be the same individual... and I do not believe Amber made the account..
in fact, the account could be a left over element of a prank played on Amber.

Licia...if you go back to the main page of this facebook page for Amber, on the right hand side click on ADMIN and you will sethe admintrators of this account and i think it tells where in Canada they are. Amber had actually flown to Canada and spent time with family there at some point.

Aaron...what kind of "prank"? I have teens and i know they can be up to no good sometimes and jokesters but Im just trying to understand what kind of a prank involves kidnapping? I guess there are 2 theories when it commes to the friends/classmates. A prank gone bad or straight out hatefulness.

Makes me wonder if the cops have eliminated other kids who were at first period that day. Logically speaking, they could look at attendance and the social circles that overlapped her own and try to go from there.Report

Teens.. 2 very currant stories of teens violent on other teens or younger..

They look innocent and not capable of murder, yet they plan and execute.
Reasons ? just because they wanted to kill somebody.

This is getting to me again. I do not think these horrible events happened in my youth. But did they? Did they happen and it was not reported and it was before the days of instant information? What happened to Amber could have happened to anyone, even our own family. I just know that if I were Amber's family it must be an unspeakable, indescribable pain and my heart breaks and goes out to you all. God give us some comfort in these times.

Hi All,
I think these things may have happened when we were young but were hushed up. We also did not have the internet or national news etc. It is so tragic and horrible. I start getting depressed about the state of our society and then I remember world history. Virginal sacrifices, impalings, horrific religious wars. I think we truly have come a long way for the better although sometimes it may not seem that way. The biggest negative right now in my opinion? The lack of the family unit. So many kids are being raised by only one parent and unfortunately are left to fend for themselves most of the time. With this follows the lack of parental supervision and the like. It takes two people to have a child and both parents need to remain involved regardless of the marital situation. JMO

Hi Monkey's,

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile been real busy. The last couple of weeks I have been working on a mass mailer and on the 12th it was complete and mailed.
One morning I woke up with this idea; why not create a unique one of kind mailer, that would go to every LE agency nationwide. We mailed it to 27,000 LE agencies.

The mailer turned out awesome, just like my Amber! Let's pray it brings Amber home!

See attached.

Very nice flyer Ambersmom.. Everyone should take a look .. If not here is the context of the writing on the Flyer.

To All Law Enforcement Agencies:
This mailer is being distributed to all law enforcement agencies in the nation. It was created and distributed by the family of Amber Leeanne
Dubois in an effort to raise awareness regarding her disappearance and ultimately to help locate her. We do not have information that
Amber Dubois is in your jurisdiction, but we ask that you share this information with your officers and support staff to help bring her home.
Amber Dubois, then 14 years old, disappeared while walking to school on February 13, 2009. The Escondido Police Department with the
assistance of the FBI, NCMEC and countless other agencies, have dedicated thousands of hours to help locate her without success. As the
Police Chief of the Escondido Police Department, I ask that you share this information with your patrol officers and investigators, as well as
anyone else who may help locate her.
Amber Dubois’ disappearance has been featured in the national and local media, on the internet and overseas. The investigators of
the case have followed up on over eleven-hundred tips resulting in the recovery of a number of unrelated missing girls. There currently
is a $100,000 reward for information leading to Amber’s whereabouts, $60,000 has been offered by the family in conjunction to $40,000
approved by California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. Please take the time to distribute this mailer and help us and the family find
Amber.
Please photocopy the poster and wallet cards in this mailer for distribution. Thank you.

Homeless men accused of child rape in Gilroy California

Gilroy, California - The Mercury News has reported that two homeless men, one 49, the other 29, are accused of robbing and raping a 13 year old girl. The three allegedly met at Christmas Hill Park on Wednesday evening.

Police say that the men gave the teenager intoxicants. Then they sexually assaulted her several times. The girl managed to escape and get help.

She later identified the suspects, one of whom was found with the girl's property.

Both men are currently being held in the Santa Clara County Jail. If convicted of the charges they now face, they could receive a life-sentence.

This is not the first time in recent history that a California teenage girl has been assaulted after receiving drugs or alcohol from older men.

Many believe that alcohol and other drugs should be strongly associated with sexual assault, and that young women should be told from an early age that when an older man gives you alcohol or drugs, he is typically after nothing good.

The victim was treated at a medical facility. People across the nation hope she is doing well and recovers quickly.

Teen Stabbed At Kit Carson Park
November 20, 2009
ESCONDIDO, Calif. -- A 14-year-old boy was hospitalized Friday after a man in Escondido twice stabbed him in the upper body, police said.

Officers were called to San Pasqual High School around 3:15 p.m. Thursday to investigate the stabbing, according to Escondido police Lt. Bob Benton.

Witnesses told officers the teen was across the street at Kit Carson Park when he was confronted by a young man.

"There was an unknown disagreement between the two, and the suspect suddenly stabbed the victim," Benton said in a statement.

Witnesses saw the man drive away in a white pickup truck with a lumber rack and landscaping tools in the back, according to the lieutenant. Police described the man as Hispanic, around 20 years, with a thin build and a mustache.

The teen was taken to Palomar Medical Center. The extent of his injuries was not immediately reported.

The stabbing was being investigated by the Escondido Police Department's Crimes of Violence Unit.

Police asked anyone with information to call Detective Greg Clark at 760-839-4450 or San Diego County Crime Stoppers at 888-580-TIPS. Tipsters can remain anonymous.

Are they looking for clues on Amber while these sweeps are being conducted?

ESCONDIDO: Police sweep targeted known criminals
56 people arrested, five illegal immigrants handed over to ICE

In an effort to reduce crime in the city, Escondido police led a multiagency operation over the weekend to arrest people on a wide range of charges.

Escondido police Lt. Craig Carter said part of the reason behind the action was to get people off the street now who might commit crimes during the holidays. Authorities went after people sought by various agencies and checked for violations by those on parole.

Authorities arrested 56 people, including five illegal immigrants who were turned over to federal immigration agents to be deported.

"A lot of this was to check probation compliance," Carter said Tuesday.

Although there is no sure-fire way to know who will commit crimes, Carter said, these are the people who "often commit crimes in and around the holidays."

The operation, called Clean Sweep, included members of the Sheriff's Department, County Probation, the California Department of Corrections, state Alcohol Beverage Control, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the Regional Auto Theft Task Force.

On Friday and Saturday, between 4 p.m. and 2 a.m., about 100 officers fanned out, checking on people for various warrants and violations, Escondido police said.

Of the 56 people caught during the sweep, 22 had warrants out for their arrest, seven were arrested on prostitution-related charges, four were arrested for possession of methamphetamine and the rest were arrested on charges including robbery, drinking in public and drunken driving.

Lauren Mack, a spokeswoman for ICE in San Diego, said Tuesday that the five individuals who were suspected of being in the country illegally were in the process of being deported. Those individuals had only minor or no criminal charges against them other than entering the country illegally, Mack said.

"We took them because they were illegally present," Mack said.

During the sweep, officers conducted 125 interviews and issued 74 citations, police said. Twenty-two vehicles were impounded and one stolen car was recovered. Four parking citations were issued.

More than 100 probation and warrant enforcement checks were conducted, including 13 registered sex offenders, police said.

Carter said the department has conducted similar operations in the past and would likely do them more often in the future.

In January 2008, a sweep focusing on gang members netted 16 people in Escondido. They were arrested on various felony and misdemeanor violations. In that operation, police conducted 67 interviews, 11 parole searches and 30 probation checks.

Hi Northern Rose,
LE is all over the case right now! They have really stepped up to the plate lately in an all out effort to find Amber. I know that there is crime in Escondido, but for those who don't live there, it is still pretty safe compared to its population. There are gangs and such, but I rarely ever see any of it. I even drive through some of the bad neighborhoods taking short cuts here and there and have never had an incident. I guess what I am trying to say is that I truly think that LE in Escondido has kept the area pretty safe. No one would have ever guessed that Amber would disappear walking to school. I sometimes think it was someone OUT of the area. I am so glad that Carrie has mailed out those flyers!

Hi Northern Rose,

Yes I am sure EPD was also looking for any clues in Amber's case while they were on their sweep. Two of the lead detetctives were part of the sweep. Epd came to the last vigil in full riot gear because they were already on duty. Amber is on their minds 24/7. Thanks for asking.

Monkey's I need some help. I am looking for someone who can do some internet "geek", someone who knows codes able to find information that the normal people cant find. Any suggestions?

You need a "CodeMan"
Generally they are hidden in dark rooms and have white skin are noted as being antisocial..
They only speak in code and have terrible table manners..

Anyway ..

Yes hack artists exist in most colleges like MIT and Berkley university and in my area U.C. Santa Cruz
If you have a specific request a professor that teaches such classes may be able to find a student to do the work.
The F.B.I. is also noted to have hired some of these types to help them in code dissimilation.

I am glad as I would love for Amber to be found just as Jaycee was but without all the years away from her family.

Just thinking out loud about this...

The girl's cell phone was shut off shortly after the messages were sent,
Garcia added, noting police relayed information about the phone to the family.
The phone was turned back on once on Saturday afternoon when someone tried
unsuccessfully to access the phone's voicemail and then shut off again shortly
after, they said, adding no further readings from the phone have been retrieved.

why would anyone except Amber, be interested in retrieving voicemails? Who would care...

Was Amber alone in the house when she left for school?   If no then who was still there?

I realize that going back through all the posts is extremely time consuming, so here are some pertinent quotes:

Family of missing teen clings to hope
No new leads in case

Amber's father and mother, along with the mother's boyfriend, all voluntarily
took and passed polygraph tests, Escondido police Lt. Bob Benton said earlier
this week. They have been ruled out as suspects, he said.

...

Garcia, the private investigator who said he has 17 years' experience, said
computers from both the mother's and father's homes are being searched by
authorities for any electronic clue the teen may have left.

He and Amber's father said the girl sent several text messages to her grandmother
and one to a friend before going to school Feb. 13. They said the messages did not
provide information about her whereabouts or seem suspicious.

Missing Escondido teen's Web activity focus of search warrants

TERI FIGUEROA - Staff Writer | Posted: Saturday, March 14, 2009 12:00 am |

....

In court documents obtained Friday by the North County Times, Escondido police
state that two of Amber's friends told a police detective Feb. 19 that the teenager
had told each of them she had been spending time online talking to boys.

One of her friends told officers she tried to dissuade Amber from doing so,
"due to her type of conversations that Amber stated she was talking about and
the dangers associated with this behavior," according to the search warrant
affidavit from Escondido police Officer Damon Vander Vorst.

...
One of Amber's classmates was the last person known to speak with Amber
the morning she disappeared.

Garcia, the private investigator, likened his hunch to something not "clicking."
He also pointed to a series of phone calls that showed up on Amber's cell phone
records. When he called that number, the young man on the other line, he said,
denied knowing the teen. But Garcia said he later found out the number reportedly
belonged to a boyfriend of Amber's friend.

Benton said they have interviewed Amber's friends several times, as well as other
students at the school, and will continue to keep in contact with them as part of
the investigation.

Monkeys, please help with this?  I am very concerned about Amber's phone and friends.   It does not seem unlikely to me that a teen who drives could stop by and offer Amber a ride to school, but take her elsewhere.   We cannot learn much about underage friends, but I hope LE has been pressed about the teenagers involved.   If all this has been settled, please tell me and I'll try to drop my questions.     Thanks.

Sorry, I guess I didn't need to take up a whole page with that info... but to add to what I was saying about the voicemails.  I can understand "someone" turning on the phone to use it.... but the voicemails? that doesn't make sense... I also keep thinking of this video I watched on maybe one of the news channels (prob a Sacramento, maybe KCRA) about human trafficking.... there was this segment on an area down south, possible near LA where they were doing this undercover operation watching all these men come to this parking area near I want to say the freeway, and they were all parked and waiting around.  It would appear they were waiting for a bus or some day work thing.  Turns out they are waiting for sex.  There was a man who came out of nowhere in these fields behind trees, etc. and he walked down these hills into this woody area with about four or five girls.  They went into an area you couldn't see, and these men who have been waiting by their cars come down into this field, hilly area.  They line up and give money to the "doorman" or whatever he is, and they go into this woody place for sex.  It was unreal.  I wonder what efforts are made to research this senario I pray this is not what has happened to sweet Amber, but it is a possibility.  I know these trafficking stings are perhaps a federal operation rather than local, but is this something they are actively checking out?  Sorry, I don't mean to make you think of horrible things... but I am sure you already do.  I just hope they look into this aspect.
