In that video it shows cloth going into a bag..
So they do not have Only a Skull to go by.

They find bodies up there all the time according to the detective on the interview.
It will take quite awhile to identify if at all.

I missed that when I first watched it.  Here are two screen captures.  In the second one it almost looks like whatever they are putting in the bag has a strap.

Its dark clothing of somesort. I suppose given it was in a fire, it could be burnt? I would think fabric would turn to ash but if it is covered with dirt I suppose you never know. Anyway, to me it looks like a small shirt or jacket or something.

I know this area, I think there is a shooting range around there somewhere. Or I think that is where I went once. Remember I am from So Cal.

Could the strap be a belt then?  like a fabric belt you find on a womans blazer for example?

Well lets see, how could this fabric survive a forest fire? Could it have been buried deep enough? And if it was deep enough would the fabric stay intact or would it fray and separate? To me it looks like a hole or the fabric was deteriorating. Can you do a close up shot of that fabric?

Best I can do without it being really grainy

I am trying to pin point this location on Google maps and cannot find it. There is an area above Altadena, I think off Hill street that is filled with occult activity. I just can't recall if this area is close to Altadena. I think it is, just over to the left.

KTLA just had the video on of the Lucas Creek skulls and I grabbed a sequence of screen shots.  It will be easier to blow them up.  It looks like whatever the clothe was, it is in shreds and what I thought was a strap is actually just one of the shredded pieces of fabric.

Angeles crest hwy connects to big tujuanga canyon one way and then in the other direction connects to the 138 or to the 15 or to the 215. I am not sure why someone would lets say god forbid take Amber to the Angeles national forest when there are plenty of open area's in San Diego county, but stranger things have happened.

I was looking at the pic again and asked my husband what he thought the black fabric was, he came up with maybe a napsak a fabric bag of some kind? It is definately a strap or a belt, the edges seem too straight.

Me too. I first thought a book bag or back pack but after just watching it larger on the news not sure now.   Maybe if we put both our odds together we can come up with a whole?

Here is a close up of the series I just posted.

I had not seen this article or video before.  Posting it here.

Human Remains Found in Landers

LANDERS - The San Bernardino County Coroner is working to identify human remains found in the hi-desert.

A San Bernardino County Sheriff's Homicide Unit, along with search teams and cadaver dogs, spent hours Thursday looking for more human remains in Landers.

An investigation is now underway after a human skull was discovered Wednesday on a nearby property.

Geraldo Cabrera says his dog "Scoobie" found the skull over two weeks ago while out playing. But it took awhile before anyone realized it.

Geraldo's wife, Ariceli, says her kids told her something in the yard smelled very bad. But she didn't do anything, because she'd had surgery and couldn't walk or leave the house.

Meanwhile, Geraldo, a truck driver, was out on the road.

When Ariceli was finally able to go outside, she didn't know what the skull was when she first saw it.

"I called my cousin and her husband. They came over and he said 'that's a person' and then we called police."

The family says investigators told them the remains appear to be from a child eight to 14 years old.

Some neighbors say they're not surprised by the find.

"I think people kill somebody, then drag them out here to the desert. Nobody pays attention to them," said Marlin Shaffer, a Landers resident.

Investigators say they have not had time to determine how fresh the remains are or if foul play was involved.

Tracy this part looks like the padding/rubber pad you find on shoulder straps for book bags.  Now I am back to it is a strap.

Thanks for the up close shots. If you look at the first one the strap think must be on the top and as she is tipping it forward into the bag and falls. To me and I reserve the right to change my mind, that last one looks like a rectangle you would place an identification tag in.

How many 8 - 14 year olds missing in that area?  and why does police not have the time to determine how long the skull was there?  If there was a bag smell it would not have been completely skeletonized yet.
