On a positive note..
ANY search attempt as long as it is recorded on a map is a good thing as it shows the areas Amber is not located at..
The more areas searched the better.

After yesterday, I'll take comfort in that one positive note but like I said, SD is huge and very rough searching, too bad there's not some pinpoint, up to date mapping etc. ????  , maybe all the "logical" areas have already been done for all I know and it's just widening in larger and larger circles.  Anyhow, grid by grid.........

The team leader had it, but once I did see it, I knew it was outdated. it was an area that I was familar with. Within the last 2 yrs the area has been built up , new streets. Still, even with that, very hard terrain.

From what I understand, the now current thinking on perps and their methods, is that the notion of say a "comfort zone" is somewhat old school thinking, in other words, a criminal wouldn't necessarily stay in any one usual area, could be that he'd just drive anywhere.  My head says, for his own safety and security the crime would be closer to the known haunts, closer to known nooks and crannies but hey, I guess if the person lived in one part of the county and worked in another, he'd be just as familiar with both areas.

I have walked with a few teams.. I know what you are talking about.

Perpetrators of crimes come in many different thought patterns.

People can believe what ever they want, but from my experience it has a lot to do with the perpetrators IQ and age level as well as other factors like race and cultural beliefs..

Since you have no clue Who took Amber or Why, then it is All guess work... Anyplace is one very large area.

Edward - I'm wondering if I move Amber's thread to the "high profile" area it might get more people involved.  What do you think?  You make the call.

It is a high profile case for me.... So I would say yes.

Amber's Aunt and Grandmother have come here for Help in research.
One thing that this family needs is Awareness and a High Profile position at Scared Monkeys is a wonderful thing.

Thank you Klassend.

I hope they find Amber soon.

We have been moved to the MP High Profile area in a forum specifically for Amber.  That way we can have separate threads for info/photos/maps, etc.

Hope this helps with the research and locating Amber.

Ampersand - I see you lurking.  We decided to move this thread to it's own area so it is more visible.  This will also allow for separate threads within the Amber Dubois forum and a more organized research area.

Hope it helps.

The human mind is a very powerful tool and we as humans have very little understanding of it.
The concept of remote viewing was first studied by our own military.
If they wanted to go down the psychic road..
I would have rather that they had just contacted Annette Martin who has a gift and she is not trying to learn how to use it.
Then they would have had both a psychic and a licensed investigator on scene working with police..
Instead we have mom searching on horse back and getting tattoo,s and calling in major ed dames.. who is in fact selling a product and teaching classes in remote viewing which he did for the military. They the military stopped doing it.

I'm sorry, poor choice of words, should have said "I see you up there".

Anyway, I hope moving this thread will get more people interrested in the case.

Klaas - thank you for something I never in my life wanted to see - my dear niece as a missing child - all cases should be high profile.

TG - nothing has been "okay" since Amber disappeared - we'll post any search news as it becomes available - thank you for your continued support. an angelic monkey

I am anxiuosly awaiting an update from AG on her trip.

I spent the better part of the day (5/31) mending Mom's (AG) computer woes.  She hasn't been able to access the internet et al for a few days - very frustrating - as you can image.  At least computer problems are easily solved.

Ampersand know that we are all here to help in anyway we can and that we are also here because we are passionate about children and seeing them brought home.

My prayers have been with Amber, you and your family each night and will continue until Amber is back home.

I will  never know exactly what you are feeling and what your family must be going through but I too have nieces  who I love so much. They are a part of me, as Amber is a part of you. I am so sorry for yours and your families pain. My heart goes out to you as it does to all of the families with lost children and loved ones. I don't know why our society does not see the importance in trying to find the lost, they instead choose to ignore it and move on. We will not ignore Amber and we will do what we can to help in finding her and I always will support you.

((((((((Hugs))))))))) to you tonight, I can feel from your words you are hurting.

I apologize.
All People deal with Life Altering Stress in many different ways.. None of them are to be judged by others.. including myself.

Professionals have in fact been down this road before. They have responsibility to lead this investigation and its resulting searches in a professional manner. Time is of the essence.
F.B.I. and ELE should be providing the search teams and the family should be able to be there and assist. It should not be left on the families shoulders who are under unbelievable stress to organize and perform searches.
All families seem to be on there own to find answers while we spend huge amounts of tax dollars on the best equipment and hire the best people possible to be law enforcement from a federal level to a community level, yet families are left on there own to  find there missing loved ones.
