Morning Everyone!  Aaahh coffee!

I think Lee (and lawyer) will walk when they see the media ... and I heard some talking head last night saying if they do that ... a judge would probably look at the circumstances (Morgan calling the media and inviting them ... trying to sensationalize ... blah blah blah) ... and Lee wouldn't even get in trouble.  What happened to my friend Karma?!!  Why do the As keep getting by with all this crap?!!  AARRGGHH! 

Newfie,I would be so sick of all this I would stroll in there and say let's get it on.Be done with it.But that's just me.(I'm not a chicken ****) 

Is there live coverage of this today ???

Good Mornin'/Evenin' Lucinda....I've missed hanging out with my monkey friends as well...but work is scarce so I've been swallowing up all I can and lurking as much as possible..

I had a close friend in Sidney when I was a kid...lost contact with him when I returned to the States tho..how close is Sidney to you ? (roughly)

At least there is something happening this morning with this case...don't think it will amount to much but keeps it in the news....Next Monday might be a bit more interesting

Sydney is in New South wales.  Its a long drive from me.  May I suggest you google an Aussie map, and I live right down the bottom of South Australia.  I cant explain it any better.  one fact, you might not know, is Australia is the same size as USA.  We just have less people here, less states and a lot of desert and outback.  I will miss all the doc dumps when im gone, but my friend pooky will summarize and keep me up to date.  SS, Sydney is a mini Los Angeles.  They even talk with American accents,  not that its a bad thing.  Where I live, is way down South, and we are the driest state in the driest continent world wide.  we are a drought state, and our farmers are commiting suicide because things are so bad here.  Economy is bad, and our canola crops and sheep and cattle farmers, are going broke.  It is a very dry state, and we are on strict water restrictions.  I cannot remember the last time we had rain.  Love lucinda

Lee gives deposition in Casey Anthony's defamation case

Lee Anthony and his attorney arrived at the mock courtroom at Morgan & Morgan law firm this morning at 8:45 a.m.

Anthony is going to be deposed in civil case against his sister, Casey Anthony who claimed a woman named Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez kidnapped her daughter, Caylee Marie Anthony.

A local woman with the name Zenaida Gonzalez is now suing Casey Anthony in a defamation lawsuit. This woman says she never met, knew or took care of Caylee.

Members of the media were not allowed in the 16th floor mock courtroom where the deposition was to take place.

More than a dozen news cameras captured Luca and Anthony going into the room and continued to film through the glass as the two sat down. Neither of the men spoke to reporters.

Lee, who was dressed in a pair of jeans and white polo-type shirt, sat with his arms crossed and avoided looking at reporters.

Soon after, Gonzalez and her lawyers entered.

The media was moved into the law firms lobby, about 50-feet from where the deposition was taking place.

Morgan & Morgan law firm is video taping the deposition.

Luca had said earlier that if the media was allowed in the room where the deposition took place, he and his client would leave.

Lee Anthony Arrives For Deposition
Gonzalez Looks Into Legally Changing Her Name

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Lee Anthony, the brother of Casey Anthony, gave a deposition in the defamation suit involving Zenaida Gonzalez on Friday morning.

Gonzalez has the same name as the person Casey Anthony named as her daughter Caylee's nanny. Casey Anthony said Caylee's nanny kidnapped the toddler last summer.

Casey Anthony is currently being held on murder charges at the Orange County Jail.

Gonzalez said she is looking to have her name legally changed.


Television cameras were invited into the downtown courtroom, according to attorney John Morgan, but a last-minute agreement was reached to keep them just outside of the deposition. Anthony was expected to answer some questions when the deposition is completed.

Morgan said Gonzalez's name was taken in a public forum, so it should not be cleared behind closed doors.

Lee Anthony's attorney said Anthony wants to get the deposition over with. He said he knows nothing about Gonzalez.


Gonzalez's lawyer said his client may claim not to know much, but they still have plenty of questions to ask.

The deposition began just before 9 a.m.
