Well, I am going to go for the night. I pray that the girl will be found.
I also would like to have a go at John Couey. I can't think about him for more than a minute or two either. Don't know how Mark Lunsford or Archie or Ruth manage to get thru a day.

no idea searching...Grand mother does not know either...maybe fingerprints showed or palm prints? that is puzzling...

If it were prints, would they not just lift them with their handy dandy tape?

Saranoia, I do not think they would take sections of the wall if drugs were hidden where the hot water heater goes. Im leaning toward biological evidence... jmo though.

what do you mean by biological evidence Search?

sweat,saliva,blood... something like that. I just have a time believing they would take sections of wall for prints... I could be very wrong,it just makes me go hmmmm

I asked the same question earlier today when I read that in the paper~I always thought they "lifted" print vs taking the actual piece where they were found

The discrepanices are not coming from the media but from the 911 call and tv
interviews....That 911 call is still bothering me...

It's still bothering me too. I completely agree with you, Jerseygirl345.

Me too~still too many and LE still is saying that NO one is cleared

I'm way, way behind but just wanted to mention a couple of things.

First, no crocs in the USA (unless I missed the memo), just alligators.  LE K9s tracking Haleigh to the water would not necessarily show that a gator took her.

Funny no one is paying much attn to LE K9s tracking her (?) to the railroad tracks.  I heard the evening train come through while watching tv one evening...it was moving quite slowly and drowning out the reporter on the scene.

Thought I heard LE'd told RC that there was a trapdoor in the doublewide.  If that's so, I don't hang my hat on the door ajar issue.  Maybe perp came in door and exited through trapdoor.  I have no clue.

This is all I could find..says they scrape blood off walls with scalpel.
http://science.howstuffworks.com/csi.htm/printable
Firearms
If a CSI finds any firearms, bullets or casings at the scene, she puts gloves on, picks up the gun by the barrel (not the grip) and bags everything separately for the lab. Forensic scientists can recover serial numbers and match both bullets and casings not only to the weapon they were fired from, but also to bullets and casings found at other crime scenes throughout the state (most ballistics databases are statewide). When there are bullet holes in the victim or in other objects at the scene, specialists can determine where and from what height the bullet was fired from, as well as the position of the victim when it was fired, using a laser trajectory kit. If there are bullets embedded in a wall or door frame, the CSI cuts out the portion of the wall or frame containing the bullet -- digging the bullet out can damage it and make it unsuitable for comparison.

I understood Mrs Nieves to say that they looked anywhere large enough to conceal/hole Haleigh and assume they thought a child that small could be behind the water heater.  Most of those are round and in a square space so suppose that is possible.

Also, what about the cinder block?  Did someone say no one knew where it came from?  Was it a full sized concrete block?  Those are pretty heavy.  Maybe I'm a wimp but I can't see somebody carrying one of those around very far.  So did the person who propped the door open with this bring it with them?  Or take it from somewhere close by?  Was anyone missing this cinder block?  Makes me wonder if this person was in the immediate vicinity.

Then again, maybe other people can carry cinder blocks with the greatest of ease.  IDK.

Well, I guess we both get the memo tonight then.

Cuz there are crocs in the USA, they live in Florida.  But they aren't in the area of Florida that my son thought, those are just gators in the St. Johns river.  The crocs (about 400-500) live in the Southernmost part of Florida.

It most likely came from his yard~IIRC, there were a stack of them by the shed/storage area and some under the trailer, he'd just never seen them.

So do you guys really think some one came in and took her straight out of the home and she didn't wake up they had to be at least two feet form her head she had to have felt something was wrong!!

A little chloroform maybe. In the Atlanta child murders he came in where others were sleeping.

I don't want to be contrary - but Gators/Crocs? That would require us to believe that Haleigh - in the middle of a dark/chilly nite - opened a difficult door (two doors) - propped one open with a cinder block - and then made her way 1/4 of a mile to the banks of the river - and then encountered a gator - which left NO TRACE of her body - anywhere. Haleigh who was afraid of the dark - not a known sleep walker - just a tiny girl. IMHO - no. I'm just sayin'

Somewhere I thought I saw a picture of it and it was 1/2 of the block.

Ron & Misty home/trailer links for study.

how close is neighboring home?
http://www.firstcoastnews.com/video/default.aspx?aid=149150

Another great video of ext. of home w/greta shows neighbors, tree density;
http://www.foxnews.com/video-search/m/21936277/on_the_scene.htm#q=Haleigh+Cummings

Question?? In vid of Greta located at rear of home, is this the abandoned car everyone keeps referring to?
Also seen in video; all skirting accesses open, cinder block in one opening.

Video of Exterior including a full cinder block under trailer, I think Greta refers to stack down the road?  Not sure I remember right.
