Hi everyone,

Yes, I posted that martial law has been declared in Mexico, and that citizens and Americans there are on lockdown.  I get an RSS feed from CNN breaking news.  So I posted that and ran over to CNN to read more, plus turned to CNN on tv. 

The weirdest thing tho!!     CNN wasn't covering it online or on tv!  I started flipping channels, and OMG the only channel breaking the story and covering it was Fox.. worse than that.. Geraldo.  I am officially going to h3ll for having that channel on in my house.    

But here's the scoop so far....

It was Geraldo covering the story.  But the words 'martial law has been declared in Mexico' was said from LE on both sides of the border, not something that Geraldo is just sensationalizing. 

It's centering on Juarez, Mexico because of the drug wars, drug cartel, violence etc.  They also talked about the fact that all of the legal papers aren't finished yet, and that could be why we aren't seeing this reported.... yet... on the other news channels. 

And then again, it IS Faux News.. Sooooooo. 

But if it's just them, doing their thing again, why did I get an RSS feed from CNN with breaking news?  Did someone release that too soon, an oopsy? 

Weird.. Very weird..  So am just watching now to see what if anything gets reported next.

Wycks, I believe that would be set the clocks FORWARD an hour instead of back.

I think in the Spring we spring ahead one hour, but I am a tad confused and fall back in the fall

sometimes I will find breaking news on Fox early because it is owned by the guy who is British, I think. I had Geraldo on and turned him off because it looked bloody.

I'll turn on my local Mexican station and flip channels. Hi Wyks!

Hi Anna!

On Glen Beck tonight (Fox) he had the 3 former American hostages held by FARC in Columbia. One of them said FARC was infiltrating the drug cartel in Mexico. That is very bad news!

I fixed a bunch of King Crab Legs..........  YUM! My son, his girlfriend, John, and I all ate till we couldn't eat anymore! 

No point in fixing anything to go with it, even though there was salad and corn on the cob. We just ate crab!
