I think it's total defense tactic. If they put it out there that a "plea" is on the table , the potential jury pool could read into that the state's case is weak....so they want to deal to assure some type of conviction.

It's a defense strategy and of course all about Casey. As it has been since day 1. Unfortunately.

Just a sidebar note, I notice in all of Bozo's motions he uses the word "pray" I find that very odd & never saw that term used in legal filings in Jersey...never saw it in other high profile cases Ive paid attention to either[/color]

He gets it from "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Practicing Law". Actually, it's not totally out of line, but it shows someone who just copies from the book.

It is a very old fashioned turn of phrase in legal motions before a court.

I'm on page 46 catching up.  Saw this and wanted to show you the videos that were available on Casey's myspace mysteriously only for a brief moment in September.  I captured them all at that time, so here's a screen shot of the thumbnails in a file on my PC, with the Properties box open for the first one ("1 2 3 Cheese") to show the date I uploaded it. 


It is interesting that Casey actually posted the play session video in two parts:  "Playtime 1" and "Playtime 2."
