As a matter of fact, I did get the paper finished. Opened it with a quote from Madonna, closed with a quote of the Beatles. And, I got it back last night ...(drum roll, please)....I got an A!!!!

Quell relief! Now I don't have one due till the middle of April...so I can be slore-watching a lot more!!!

Thumbs down to the Anthony family in Florida who appointed no family members to represent in court, the murdered victim in their family — little Caylee Anthony who was found stuffed inside a plastic bag.

Her mother, Casey Anthony, is charged with killing the 2-year-old.

In numerous court appearances, all of the Anthony family was there to support the accused — Casey. No one represents the toddler.

Prosecutors said that it is highly unusual that someone is not present to represent the victim in the court appearances of charged suspects.

Apparently, the family is so enmeshed in showing the world that they believe their daughter and sister is innocent, they have overlooked the pitiful fact that no one is in court for little Caylee.

Morning lovely monkeys! It's almost Friday. 

Hmm ... I do think Casey is ugly because her ugliness inside is reflected to her outside. And aside from that, most of the people I see on a daily basis are more physcially attractive than her. Just saying her idea of her own attractiveness seems a bit skewed. Just bringing her down a peg or 10. 

I don't think it's petty to point it out. It just makes me a little happier knowing she is sitting in jail eating PopTarts and not snapping pics of her "hot" self in a bikini or entering "hot body" contests.

And it's not b/c she's a woman. I've made comments about another "hottie" *cough* *gag* Scott Peterson and his bugs bunny teeth.

I agree.  I don't think it is petty either.  These small things, such as getting fat, bad hair day, no makeup, etc. to a normal person is an annoyance.  To KC, it is monumental.  KC is all about how she looks.  Part of the worst punishment for her is for her to lose her looks.  MOO

The press conference Thursday was surrounded by 10 TV and radio news vehicles and satellite trucks, all camped out for the Casey Anthony hearing set for later today. But only one TV news group, CFN 13, bothered to film the local press conference.

Casey's lawyers are fighting for sanctions against prosecutors for allegedly failing to list all their witnesses. Her family's attorney will try to keep George's suicide note out of the public record.
The defense is asking for all paperwork involving the DNA testing done on the evidence in the case that was taken from the scene where Caylee Anthony's remains were found and on evidence taken from her house.
The defense also wants documents revealing the backgrounds of the experts who did the testing, lab certifications and standards.

WFTV legal analyst Bill Sheaffer says that's a common defense request, the goal being to find fault with some aspect of the scientific evidence.
But Sheaffer says the defense demand for sanctions against prosecutors for not listing two experts on the witness list who have tested evidence is meaningless with the trial at least seven months off.

"Waste of judicial time. The hearing is a waste of taxpayers' money. It's premature. The state is under a continuing obligation to disclose. It is not uncommon that in the weeks and months to come there will be amended witness lists," said Sheaffer

Casey's defense team wants all computer evidence from her ex-lover Ricky Morales, who according to investigators had deleted files the day he turned it over to officers.
