THE TAPE -- If Casey had been making some sort of statement by putting tape on Caylee after her death, a simple strip would have done the trick.  But the tape was wound around the head and mouth, which means it was meant to keep the child quiet, maybe even to smother her, and that it was done with some intensity and anger, not as an afterthought.  I doubt this was done in the bedroom of the home BEFORE Casey left with the child.  Caylee would have struggled and made some sounds.  It is possible to make humming sounds or groans even when the mouth is taped or gagged.  It is just not possible to form words.  Caylee may have died in the home, but not while the parents were there, at least in my opinion.  I think there was a struggle between Caylee and Casey, with crying, screaming, etc.  I also think that on some level, Casey cared for Caylee, or went through the motions of caring for Caylee, because she was told that she should care for her own child.  Most people say she was kind to Caylee and affectionate with her.  She either loved Caylee or thought she loved Caylee or thought she had to love Caylee.

The mention of her taking an MMPI is interesting, too.  That test is supposed to show various mental or emotional tendencies including pyschosis, narcissism, anti-socialism, etc. I think.  Does anyone know more about the test?  Of course, Casey may have been lying about the test, but it seems like a reasonable one to give to an inmate to find out if they have any obvious disorders.  I doubt they would tell her that "everything was all right" though.  They probably kept the results to themselves.

Yes, the MMPI-2 which is the revised version of the original MMPI is part of a battery of tests.  It is used to assess and diagnose mental disorders/illness.   They are administered by a clinical psychologist or psychiatrist trained to assess MMPI-2's (I worked for a forensic psychiatrist for 8 1/2 years that used them regularly).   The test is designed to be for adults 18 & older.   It is usually used in conjunction with the MCMI-III which is a self-reporting test designed to aid a clinical psychologist/psychiatrist  in assessing DSM-IV related personality disorders.   The MACI is the version used for adolescents.

hope this helps about the MMMPI tests!

I agree with your assessment.  I think Caylee was starting to tell about things going on with Casey in a totally innocent way.  I think those stories along with the money stolen from Gpa's living fund pushed Cindy to confront her daughter and what happened after that ended Caylees life.  What kind of person steals from their grandfathers assisted living fund?  Oh yes, the same kind of person who kills their child.  No ethics, no morals according to the text messages.  ME, ME, ME....
A friend of mine from college is facing a situation right now, her younger brother who is 18 used his mothers debit card and removed $4000+ from their home mortgage account.  The mother unsuspecting that anything was wrong with the account wrote checks for the mortgage each month, and the mortgage holder nor the bank sent them notices that the checks were bouncing each month and fees were piling up left and right on both ends.  (Or they did and the 18 y/o brother who lives at home was able to sneak notices from the mail - that is still debatable.)  Long story short, her mother and father are now working to try and get their home out of forclosure.  They did not press charges against the son, just have tacked it up to "life experiences". (Not my call to say anything negative to them or her about this decision)
Anyway...the boys psychiatrist was telling them that "kids" these days do not think in terms of long term consequences, they only think in the "now".  When my friend told me this the first thing that popped into my mind is "Thats so Casey".  She never considered the consequences for her actions, she partied, she cashed fraudulent checks as if money was going out of style, she robbed from her grandfather who needed the money most, and not to mention she killed Caylee.  In many of her jailhouse calls when asked if Caylee would ever get to come home, Casey said "I sure hope so", almost as if she herself had no comprehention of her own actions.

Thank you JuJu.  I have a time limit on my computer usage right now from my husband.  He knows though that if I do not get some sort of "fill" that I will stress and worry even more.  I have my mother here to help for now, and I have given up a show I was working really hard on, so my busy stress level has decreased quite a bit.  Thank you all for your concern, I did not mean to stir the cage yesterday by texting some of my close friends A1 & Boo, but I do apreciate everyones prayers.

Seeking Justice for Caylee

« Reply #565 on: March 09, 2009, 02:46:14 PM »

Hi Monkeys!

Desi is at work, so I'm just popping in here and there. If no one has seen this, it will be a

Bombshell...

IM's between Casey and Tony, May and June.
June 10 Casey tells him she will have the house to herself in 3 days; her parents will be "moving out" by then.
This is the same time frame she was shining Amy on about moving in.

She also says that Caylee is "passed the f*ck out."

Whoa.     http://www.docstoc.com/docs/4770482/IM-History-with-L7Tone

Please please read if you have not seen these.  I'll check back in a bit.

Desi

wow Surprised   I sure hope that the LE has someone as good as you finding these details Desi.

A few glaring things about these exchanges:   based on Casey's computer searches dating back as far as March & what she told Amy and Tony about the house, I think she had plans to kill her parents.  In fact, Cindy told the FBI that she questioned Casey why a package arrived for Amy to their house, she told Amy that Casey lied about the house & a divorce.  The fact that Casey had Amy send the package indicates she had definite plans to do something about obtaining that house as opposed to just making up a story to impress her friends.  Knowing Cindy as we've seen there is no way she would have been moving voluntarily without Caylee, that's for dang certain.  Casey had something premeditated in mind from days if not months before.  Tony toying with her over their relationship & if he would see her probably magnified Casey's thoughts.

June 10th  isnt that interesting for several reasons.  Casey stayed overnight with Caylee at Ricardo's on the 9th, both Amy & Ricardo report to LE that they saw Caylee the next morning.   This is the weekend that Casey & her family first report that Casey dropped Caylee off at Sawgrass (no mention of JBP).   Casey is still discussing going to Puerto Rico with her friends.  Casey also mentioned to Tony about going to Jacksonville with Amy to get her car but as we know Casey ditched Amy with an elaborate lie that her father was hospitalized - its obvious now Casey ditched her plans with Amy over Tony.  Their messages seem to indicate that Casey was unsure of Tony & deseparate to hang on to him, she takes his jabbing serious but tries to conceal it with wisecrack remarks.

Tony is the second person Casey tells that she's getting her parents house & speaks of her future freedom.  3 days after the 10th would have been the 13th-two days before she had the fight with Cindy over her stealing from her grandparents after Cindy got home with Caylee from visiting them.  So if they were moving why wasnt the house getting packed up, simple they were not moving. Casey had to backtrack & tell Amy that plans changed.

Casey referring to Caylee being passed out, hmmm so did she drug her often so she could yak & screw around with her men...sure looks that way.   She seems cold and indifferent to Caylee both in mentioning the potty training & Caylee sleeping, yea can sense the burden of caring for a child is something Casey really didnt want - if and when she did pay attention to Caylee she was a trophy she could seek attention thru and/or leverage over her parents.

I don't think Casey could predict her mother coming home on the 15th with that confrontation.  After that argument Casey spends an enormous amount of hours texting & talking to Tony until about 3AM, it makes one wonder if she didnt kill Caylee right in her bedroom.

Long time lurker and first time poster.  Capp I love reading your posts, I must tell you I have thought the same thing that the Monster may have killed Caylee right there in her bedroom.  Makes me shiver.

Tony should bear some of this guilt of this crime.  Not prison time, but he should feel terribly guilty in making Casey love him (that is not the right word) so much she would give up her child for him, and her freedom.  There is a story in the Bible about when you put things in front of God, these things can be taken from you......  Casey didnt love Tony, she only wanted what she couldnt have and she made the ultimate sacrifce for him.  That is just my opinion of course, but reading what Klaasend posted, that is very apparent.
I couldn't disagree more. KC alone is responsible for her actions. All the other players in this case are VICTIMS. Psychopaths get into their victim's head and play them. That's what KC did to Tony and everyone else. Tony didn't know he was dating a psychopath. KC would've given up Caylee for something anything she thought was better.

Okay Monkeys, here's something else to check out on a slow news day, if you haven't seen it.

"One Tree Hill," Episode #100 was Google-searched by Casey on the A's computer.
I believe it aired March 18, the day before her birthday.

It's been discussed here before, but here's a 6 and a half minute video of scenes from that episode.
Child is kidnapped by "Nanny Carrie."

One Tree Hill 100th Episode clips:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ptRZnuNtZ0

REALLY interesting to watch, for those who know the case like we Monkeys do.

I saw this a few months ago when it was first discussed, I dont see any correlation in the storyline with the exception of the girl they used to be the "nanny abductor" looked similar to Casey in stature not overall appearance.

Casey Anthony is the owner of guilt in her childs murder, dysfunction in her family contributed, but,of her own free will, she did the deed IMO

Sassy had brought this up back when the show aired.  It does have some creepy paralells to it.  I am a huge OTH fan, I only wish that Caylee's "nanny fiasco" could have ended like Jaime's where Grandpa Dan kills Nanny Casey Carrie

i think KC decided she had to have Tony, wanted to be with him and her new friends.....remember he talked about how upset she got when he teased her about staying in new york, he was only playin her.  to me that is what leads to the premeditation, Caylee did not fit her into her "new life".  the fight at the A's on the 15th set things in motion. it amazes me how stupid a woman can get about a man.  she was not the first person to murder her child for a man.
Diane Downs and Susan Smith killed there kids for a man they thought they couldn't have because of their kids.  add KC to the list.

I am sure that he feels some guilt now that all of this has come out, and I am sure that he will experience some sort of it even more so as the trial begins, its human nature.  I can not imagine what he must think knowing that he was with her the night Caylee was killed, and that he had a murderess in his bed for nearly a month after the whole incident.  His life has been thrown under public microscope and his "game" is out there for everyone to see.
Casey was playing him though just as much as he was playing her.  She had Mr. Cop-snotnose guy on the side, in addition to the cheating she did while Tony was away with Mr. Party-decorator.  Casey was a nympho, not even Tony could handle all of that. He was decieved by her with her false jobs and her "I am a momma" routine...he was blindsided, I am sure he picks apart every minute he spent with her in his brain to try and think how he should have or could have re-done the situation to help Caylee, but the truth is...it was Casey's secret and she aint talkin.
