Hi Minnie!

I'm in Texas too, (Cowtown).  According to Crystal's attorney, people in the neighborhood and perhaps even law enforcement feel that the children are or could be in jeopardy if they remained in the custody of their father and his 17 year old sexually active live-in girlfriend and what was transpiring in their abode.

I will copy and paste her remarks when the transcript comes online.
Well now, ain't that something.

They are getting married because that is what Haleigh and Jr. wanted. What 5 and 4 yr old really understand the concept of marriage? Misty says they were calling her mommy, she was shacked up in the house...so I do not think a 5 yr old would know the difference.

And no cameras inside the church to see the shotgun......I do hope Ron loks a little more enthusiastic tomorrow than he did Monday.

wyks, I remember the names. Can I post first names here?

I think we can post first names.  Might want to check with Muffy or Klaas first tho.  I'm on heavy duty pain meds, can't be trusted right now.

PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. -- A sheriff's deputy arrived at the home of missing 5-year-old Haleigh Cummings and removed the back door -- the same door that was found propped open the night the girl disappeared

Seiko, which door was propped open?  The screen door or the main door?  Or both?

Finally see a step in the right direction.....at least they are doing something.
Finally something.  Thanks for the link nrcg.

Let me try that again.

Minnie yes, I am very familiar with Los Colinas.  I work in Los Colinas, at least the office is there. I go into the office a couple of days per month, but work from home mostly.

Yes this case is getting very interesting and muddy. Just as many twist and turns as the Caylee Anthony case if not more.

lol, there is no telling what NG will call Misty tomorrow. I don't think that she will be able to mispronounce it, hopefully.

And yes, the weather really has done an about face.  Had to tell DH to crank up the heat, lol.

Oh Good Lord has anyone noticed how long this quote stack is getting. It started at 11:54 am. Give it a rest.

Hi darla.  Yes, I certainly did notice the quote stack, and I asked for it to stop being quoted, but it's been quoted twice since that request.  I can start deleting posts if it doesn't stop.

Muffy~I didn't see your request until after I posted.

Yah, I figured you didn't IM, it was right after my post.     That quote stack reminded me of the Sta-puff marshmallow man in "Ghostbusters"...

That's what makes me think they might sell the wedding pictures. Also the back door LE took, what door, the wood door or the screen door?

POSTED: Wednesday, March 11, 2009

PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. -- A sheriff's deputy arrived at the home of missing 5-year-old Haleigh Cummings and removed the back door -- the same door that was found propped open the night the girl disappeared.

Haleigh hasn't been seen since the night of Feb. 9. Thirty days after she went missing, detectives in Putnam County continued to search for clues or any tips that may lead to answers in the case.

On Wednesday, investigators removed the back door of the Cummings' home. They would not comment on why the door was taken when it was.

I don't think we get as much news here on this case as the people who live closer.  That is how I found this site looking for more news.  It is interesting and quite addicting.  I am with a software company and am on the computer all day and I have to admit since I found this site I haven't been too productive at work.

Posted on the front page of SM.  This person does appear to be posting from Florida, other than that who knows?

I am praying for Haleigh, but I am repulsed by the actions of the father and his girlfriend.

The screen door was "propped open just like this" according to the reporter on the Today show.

I thought it odd, because I had imagined it being propped WIDE open, not just a bit like this:

Oh my custody battle being looked into now by Crystal's new Kim Picazio.

What do you guys think her chances of getting the kids with that fiance of hers?

Will these kids wind up in a foster home?

Wouldn't you think the authorities have checked into this (the home) and if there were questions they would go ahead and remove Junior?  Here (Texas) it is called CPS and I know if they felt he was in danger or abused they would have removed him immediately.  I know that has happened in cases here.  I would certainly hope that they had checked everything out.  But, I don't know.  What a scary thought.

Thanks for mentioning that, Heart!  I was kind of surprised to hear Crystal's attorney say such things.  It's not like LE has made a move (that we know of) to take Jr. out of Ron's care.  And the comment about 'sexually active live-in'... puleeeeeeeease!  LOL  I was like, 'omg she did not just say that!'  It's not like Jr. won't be in a similiar sexually active live-in environment, living with Crystal/Chad!  Or, IMO, any other regular household where a couple would be caring for him.  There *are* doors/locks in a home, for a variety of reasons.

Wyks..kindof like the pot calling the kettle black right? come on!!!

Thanks Brandi.  I thought it was propped open really wide too.  I actually thought it was so that they could carry someone out of it.  Well that is strange to me.  So, Misty had to open the big door to see the screen door was open.  I thought the back door was standing wide open when she went to the bathroom.
