Too bad we monkeys cannot be there for the festivities - instead of rice throwing, we could throw nanners!  And we would all need our valium kitty and some moonshine!

Cannot belive Ron is not part of the search today. That IMO, shows his guilt right there.

Now we know why TN told the media to go ahead and wait outside the doors at the church or something to that affect.  tricky tricky.

Maybe common sense stepped in, and they decided a marriage right now is not right.
Nah...

SAN MATEO, Fla. -- The San Mateo church, reportedly the site for the wedding, says none are scheduled for Thursday.
A family friend says that Ronald Cummings and Misty Croslin are now looking for a location, and someone to wed them.

Dunns Creek Baptist Church emailed a statement to our newsroom stating that there is no wedding scheduled to take place on Thursday, March 12, 2009. The statement provided by Associate Pastor David Dixon asked that any announcements made regarding the Cummings-Croslin wedding at the church be retracted.
Jamie Watts, funeral director of Watts Funeral Home, 720 U.S. Hwy. 17 in San Mateo, says the couple originally asked him to perform the service; however, Watts says his notary status has expired.

Statement from Dunns Creek Baptist Church:
To Whom It May Concern:
There is no wedding scheduled to take place at Dunns Creek Baptist Church on Thursday, March 12, 2009. Pastor Terry Wright is out of town and the other full time pastors (David Dixon & Chad Perry) are not performing a wedding today. Please retract any announcements you have made regarding the Cummings / Croslin wedding taking place at Dunns Creek Baptist Church.
Thank you,
David Dixon

    Anyone else confused...

I thought they had to wait 3 days after filing the paper work anyway?  IDK if I remember that right?

What I am seeing on google earth map it is the opposite direction from Ron's work path on 17.

Thanks, I was trying to see which way they were going, looks South and his route to work looks NE to me, but I'm chitty with directions
How many miles from Ron's trailer to work??

IIRC~I thought it was 16 miles..............

Anyone else think it's odd that this massive search (just saw clip of it on HLN) and the wedding happened to be on the same day- odd coinky dink to me anyway

I don't think that it is a coincidence ...at least not from Misty and Ron...But, if I was Ron/Misty, I would cancel any wedding today until I get the outcome of this search today...If fact, I would put it on hold till some time went by and till my daughter was found...but hey, call me crazy...

Well, call mc crazy too then, because getting married would be the last thing on my mind if my child was missing

The 911 call at 3:27 am sends up my red flags. Yes, it happened at 3:27 am. But, the question still remains: DID RON ALREADY KNOW HL WAS MISSING WHEN HE DROVE UP AND SAW MISTY ON THE PORCH?? And, how did TN get there so fast, UNLESS she was tipped off earlier of HL's disappearance??

Thanks for the dates on the marriage stuff so much happens in this case I can't remember anymore.

That's alot of ground to cover if they go all the way to Paradise shores road.  Why is Crescent City ringing a bell for me?

I think it's because when we googled mapped his address, and let the "little man" walk, didn't it show up as Crescent City IIRC?

Who puts a banner like that on their truck? I don't blame anyone for not wanting to marry the happy couple.

uh oh;  Searched back in the threads....found this from Blonde Feb 22.

Croslin also told the Times-Union that the day Haleigh disappeared, she told authorities a cousin who had been staying in Crescent City for about a month went back to Tennessee. She said the cousin had “messed with” her sexually when she was a child but not been deemed a sexual offender.
