I don't post much on this thread - but I read and lurk.   This wedding today makes me feel sick inside.   What in the hell is wrong with these people?   The Today Show is just as bad.  just my 2 cents.

LE has not ruled out Ron/Misty as suspects, correct? 

It just occured to me that in other cases, those who were still suspects were not allowed to leave the state, without written consent of a judge.  Isn't that true?   Or is that a rule that is different state to state? 

If it's true for the state of FL... Why are Ron/Misty being allowed to go to NYC?   

IMO <---- This has "flight risk" written all over it!!

SATSUMA, Fla. - The father of missing 5-year-old Haleigh Cummings has married his 17-year-old girl friend. Misty Croslin and Ron Cummings got engaged earlier this week. The wedding cake was decorated with blue flowers and the wedding dedicated to Haleigh.

 

"When she comes home, Misty will be 'Mommy.' It's what she wanted," said Teresa Cummings, Haliegh's grandmother. "It's what she wanted when she was here and when she comes home it's what she'll have."

Meanwhile, Putnum County Sheriff's deputies and other law enforcement agents conducted a ground search for Haleigh Cummings who has been missing since February 9.

Crews searched about 10 miles along U.S. Highway 17 from Satsuma to Lake Como, near Crescent City. After several hours, searches said they came up empty-handed.

As for Haleigh's father Ron, and his new wife Misty, getting married was the thing to do today, according to family members.

"There were things we couldn't do. A wedding was not something we could do, because 'Daddy' always had to go to work and there's no time for that," said Teresa Cummings.

When asked if the wedding had anything to do with possibly protecting Croslin, she responded, "that's absurd!" adding, "it is what it is ... somebody came in and took Haleigh. That has nothing to do with Misty or my son."

And yet again RC's mother says Haliegh will have a new mommy.. FYI, she already has one, like her or not.. No wonder Crystal is so flat, these people must have beat her self esteem into a pulp...

I agree ! When Ms. Neves sad that, it was a slap to Crystal. I was thinking that Teresa Neves was a good one, that did it. And that little b*&^* Misty too said the same thing.

Maybe Crystal did have a hard life and I would like to see her surround herself with better people. There ain't much for a girl to aspire where she's been. I am serious. I see a beaten ( no fight left in her , just let it all happen kind of thing ) woman who could maybe draw some strength from other good people around her. She is so young and I bet she's never had much emotional support from anyone. The good kind that says, you are a worthwhile human being.

And all these naysayers thinking she has something to do w/her daughter's disappearance. If I held out any smidgen of hope that Ron/Misty were innocent, it just went out the window.
