Good Morning Monkey's!  It's been about a month or so since I last posted.  Have been lurking lately though!  Missed you!  First of all I want to thank Brandi for working so hard on my avatar and everyone else's!  She's great with these!

I've often wondered what brought people in on this case in the first place?  I know that once I heard "A mother whose child had been missing 30 days and hadn't reported her missing" was what shocked me!  That and hearing about Casey racking up $ on mom's cc!

I am always drawn to any missing/abused child's story...this one just kept growing and getting more bizarre...I think the media has a lot to do with it too..so many children are hurt/missing/killed etc. each year and all of the children are special...but the media has kept this one on the front page unlike so many that get a headline and then disappear the next day

I will never mentally comprehend anyone hurting a child....hell awaits them and I can find no sympathy

I totally agree with you on all points.  I'm curious how the Prosecution will open in court.  I hope one of their 1st statements is the fact that she didn't report her missing for 31 days.  I've also always wondered what would have happened if Cindy had given her 1 more day.  I think Casey would have disappeared in the middle of the night!  I do give credit to Cindy for not allowing this.

I find it interesting that there were no fingerprints on the items in the backpack ??? 

How does that happen? Unless the elements destroyed the prints 

that could be...also that Cindy was a nurse and could have kept those latex gloves around the house?

Was it just me, or did anyone else notice that NG was a little kinder tonight?    Looks like the emails may have found their way to her inbox.     

I thought the exact same thing when I watched NG tonight.

Someone must have read the emails!

She was much nicer than last night!

She probably just had indigestion from gnawing off Drew Petramoulx's balls the other night.

Casey Anthony's Grandma: Stolen money paid for Caylee's party

Detectives interviewed Shirley Plesea, Casey Anthony's grandmother, in August, new records show.
Plesea told investigators that the first time Casey Anthony stole money from her was on Caylee's second birthday and the $54 paid for the toddler's birthday party.
Casey Anthony took a check from her grandmother's purse while she stayed overnight at the family's home on Hopespring Drive in August 2007, the documents show.

Plesea didn't realize the check was missing until a few days later.
Plesea found out her granddaughter stole the check after she went to the Mount Dora police.
She told investigators that the money paid for Caylee's Mexican-themed 2nd birthday party. She used the stolen check to pay for $54 at Publix for birthday party decorations and cake.  "She was buying the birthday stuff and evidently she needed the extra money," Plesea said. "And instead of asking grandma for some more money…[She] took the check. I would have gladly given her some money."

Plesea told detectives she was mad at her granddaughter, but forgave her. Casey Anthony apologized to her grandmother.
Plesea, who is Cindy Anthony's mother, told investigators Cindy Anthony's behavior and changing stories were caused by denial.
"She's out of control for one reason. If she doesn't believe Casey than Caylee's dead," Plesea said. "If she could not believe Casey, believe in Casey, she'd have to accept the fact that …Caylee might be dead, or would be dead, or whatever."
The interview was included in about 300 pages of documents related to its case against Casey Anthony that the State Attorney's Office just released.

The documents also include a transcribed interview with private investigator Dominic Casey, who worked for the Anthony family and for Casey Anthony's defense attorney, Jose Baez.
Anthony's defense team has already received the documents.

Interesting read on Jeffrey Hopkins interview.  I'd love to see him go to the jail and confront Casey on the lies she told about their relationship!  We all know that won't happen though!

64% think the memorial should come down...I kind of agree...I think it should be replaced with something a bit more concrete/permanent....maybe a nice marble memorial marker..

Wouldn't that be nice? Casey would have her wish of a headstone to mark Caylee's grave - not her burial spot but the place she DUMPED HER. Think KC would go visit it?
