I agree with NewsJunkie that there is some HUGE family secret which may explain a good deal of the A's bizarre behavior in this case.  If it turns out that George or another family member fathered Caylee, yes -- it would be shocking -- but it sure would explain a lot.  IMO the fact that Lee, George, Casey, and Cindy have all told conflicting stories about Caylee's paternity -- even under oath in LE interviews -- tells me that where there is smoke there is bound to be fire.

Will it come out in a document release before trial?  Will we have to wait till the trial?  Will we EVER know the truth about who Caylee's father is and/or why the A's have consistently behaved so strangely on this subject?

I agree also, some huge family secret that will be kept secret no matter what they have to do to keep it that way.

JSM, it looks like to me on the left where it is darker is a central stairway leading to the front door and to the left of the front door is one of the bedroom windows, the balcony w/slider leads to the living room.  Hope that helps? Lovinlife

It is understandable why we are all questioning the lies.  It is what a normal person does when they are faced with something that does not make sense.  The Anthony family, all of them, have thrown out false information as a distraction or in hopes that something will stick. This is what  manipulative people do.  They have probably done this their entire lives.  Casey learned to lie from someone.  They did not learn to lie when they were faced with this crisis.  This entire family has deeply rooted psychopathology.  We find this mind boggling, but to them it's just their reality.  The reality that they have always lived in.  They did not just become crazy when Caylee went missing.

Forgive the *bump* but am reading back and thought this was excellent.

Desi, my confusion with the apartment is whether or not there was a break in while Tony was away. The only place I read it was coming from Lee's mouth. I know I am probably wrong as usual, I just don't understand how someone can break in a 2nd floor apartment window.  JSM [size=pt] stupid as always [/size]

I think it's much simpler than that- Casey had no clue who the father was but she could hardly say that now,could she? So knowing how gullible her mother was she made up what sounds a fairly respectable story, and one they can't really check out- so that Mom could stay in that perfect family cloud 99 she was living on. Saves a lot of aggro...

I don't think there is any huge family secret....other than the whole bunch of them are pond scum..they are a very dysfunctional group of people...I hesitate to even call them a family....I honestly don't think casey knows for sure WHO the father is....consequently neither do any of the others, and they don't want to admit their whoring daughter can't be sure who the baby's father was. JSM-The front door is off the living room (just to the left of where it says storage).  The bedroom window would be just to the left of there, on the same landing. 

Again, just to clarify...this is to help JSM understand, we do not know for sure that TL apt was ever broken into or who did it.  Though I have my suspicions.

Ok--I guess there isn't actual proof there was a break in.  It was supposedly discussed b/w Tony L and Lee in that taped convo of theirs.  I know I discussed this  last week and no, it was NOT confirmed thru LE or media or whomever, but, think about it, it is totally possible that it could have happened.  And with KC's theft problem, why wouldn't it be something to consider?  (BTW, I agree that that is a sliding door next to the front doo---I live in Florida, and have lived in apts. with this same design/layout).
