1:30 PM ET: Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke will sit for a rare and lengthy interview at 7 p.m. Sunday on CBS's "60 Minutes" to talk about the economy, according to the show's site.

Bernanke, interviewed by Scott Pelley, will talk about "what went wrong with America's financial system, how it caused the current economic crisis, what the Fed's doing to help fix it and when he expects the crippling recession to end," CBS says.

Bernanke has said he believes the recession could end by the end of this year.

I hope Bernanke addresses the tough questions -

When does he see recovery?  The timeframe for 'reinflation' or growth to precrash levels of investments that have taken such a beating?

When does he see a healthy job market returning to the US?   Adequate employment for everyone looking?  Including, the underemployed?

When does he see the administration focus on rescue and recovery and bailout for companies that actually benefit the American public?  Not just their management, stockholders, and foreign interests?

Businesses encouraged to follow the path of sound financial management?

Government creating an environment that doesn't reward risk and failure?
