Red just posted this after listening to the Kalpoe brother's attorney David Kock on a radio interview tonight on Scared Monkeys radio. What might be  your thoughts on this statement by Red?

So David Kock states that Deepak &/or Satish did not take JVDS home from the beach or any where on Aruba.

JVDS says they did.

We have an issue now dont we.

How can these 2 stories be so different?

I joined this thread late. I've just read 33 pages. Who is KBM - Kawish? During the first pages I thought it was a woman, then I figured out he is a man. How did he arrive at Scared Monkeys? This is a very interesting thread.

Well, it appears back on Oct 12, poster Florida made a post that claimed an individual named Kawish was seen the day after the disappearance at the casino with JVDS.

Poster KBM read that and got in touch with Red and joined the forum.

The KBM poster came on and posted asking Florida how she knew that Kawish was at the casino with JVDS that day.

KBM then claimed that Kawish was studing in Holland at the time.

KBM then in a series of posts identified himself as Kawish.

Several regular posters took him to task to prove he was Kawish.

It appears that Hotshot and Red accept KBM to be Kawish.

Several posters were put off by KBM's standing by the prevailing story of the arubans that it was anyone else but JVDS who disappeared Nat.

Several regular posters were seeing that KBM's postings appeared to reflect some of the stuff that has been seen in the past by Bondia, Glenda, Sandrak and others.

Some of us are corresponding with KBM just to gather a feel for how the folks in aruba may actually see the case and what happened.

Doesn't really matter who KBM is for real, it's just continued discussion of the case.

Several of the regulars on the Lively requested a separate O/T thread be setup because they felt it was disrupting the Lively and they had important case info to be discussed on the lively. I chuckled a bit at those claims, from what I've seen there lately.

Anyhow here we are where KBM can post answers to questions that are asked of him, and many of us are grateful that he deigns to do so.

KBM couldn't have possibly answered in light of what David Koch just said last night.  And several of us chuckle when we read here as well for it is entirely predictible and we have been down this path before.

let me rephrase my question then, what would be the motivation for one brother to lie and the other not to lie? Brothers are typically very close, so why would one lie and not the other?

thanks for your honest answer back. the problem I have with this is that Kock represents two much less powerful clients than Joran and his father, so I truly do not believe thinking logically here - that the Kalpoe's can afford to lie about Joran and get away with that. I don't think Kock is a fool either, I think he knows who has the greatest guilt in this or he would not be doing shows or radio discussions either.

Kock is not as powerful as Paulus von der Sloot in Aruba, but because K2 are willing to disagree with Joran is why I suspect they are no longer friends.

well i dont think that 2k and Kock are less powerfull than joran and his father. but i do know that if 2k accomplishes (could be with lies) to let the judges believe that they have not picked joran up at the beach ....than all the attention goes to joran. and then 2k is already unguilty....and they dont care about joran.
and why would joran lie that they picked him up....because even if they picked him up then there still not guilty of doing anything to natalee.
so i think joran just told the truth but 2k doesnt want to be more involved.

im dont have his email....even if i would have it than i dont think its such a good idea to ask al those things to him.

I can only think of a couple reasons that Joran would tell three different stories of how he got home:
   1) He was always at his home so didn't get a ride at all or
   2) He got a ride home by someone he wants to keep out of it...either a very good friend/family member or someone he's scared of.

He's already admitted to being the last one with Natalee so the part of being the last, cannot be a reason.

and yeh he admitted to have see natalee as the last person.....but he doesnt know if somebody else saw her after he left her.

Satish was the third version.  Why three different versions?? Another one of those odd things.

I don't think Rika's parents were too thrilled with Joran.

I'm a little nervous about Joran because the Dutch behavioralists and FBI profilers described very scary traits.  You know, some people are very good at looking like one thing on the outside and being very different when alone.  Lots of the serial killers were very charismatic.  And now that I think about it....they are known for their ability to lie...eeeeek
