Maybe it's just me but there is something nagging in the back of my mind about Fred Goldba and I can't remember what it is.  Something that makes me sort of uneasy about all this.

Anyway I hope we learn much more tomorrow and something is found one way or another.  Guess we can hope as long is he is on the island and looking?

There was some funny stuff with Fred Golba ( I thought anyway) in some of the searches he did near the Lighthouse.  I could be wrong but something in the back of my memory is saying that 

Scaredmonkey's was all over it.  August (?) 2005....Jim Knox....cooler....It was a long time ago...a bit of one upsmanship??

Natalee Holloway's father flew a search dog and handler to Aruba to search for the missing teen's body on Friday, although prosecutors said they have no new leads in the case.

Ann Angela, a spokeswoman for the Aruba Prosecutors' Office, said the dog is searching a small reservoir in northwestern Aruba that witnesses have previously identified as a location where Holloway's remains might be found.

Holloway, from Mountain Brook, Ala., disappeared in May 2005 in the Aruban capital Oranjestad. She was 18 at the time.

Angela said neither police nor prosecutors have any new information in the case, but they gave Dave Holloway permission to search.

Dave Holloway did not immediately return a message seeking comment. His attorney, Vinda de Sousa, told The Associated Press he insisted on another search of the reservoir after a witness who identified it as a possible location passed a lie detector test in the U.S.

De Sousa said she does not know how long the dog and its handler will remain on the island, nor how much Holloway is paying for the search. She added that the search had been planned for some time.

Holloway's mother, Beth Holloway Twitty, said she was not aware of the development and declined further comment.

Natalee Holloway was last seen leaving a bar with Dutch man Joran van der Sloot on the final night of a high school graduation trip.

No trace of her has ever been found despite extensive searches involving hundreds of volunteers, Aruban soldiers, FBI agents and even Dutch F-16 jets.

Dutch prosecutors have said authorities still lack proof they need to convict Van der Sloot, who has been arrested twice and released for lack of evidence.

I know we have heard for a long time about a witness passing a lie detector test.  In my opinion and from what I have read people can pass lie detector tests.  After almost four years someone came forward and saw what happened that night.  I cannot and will not believe that.

Aruba has the ultimate power to make this happen.

I agreed with Magnolia last night that "If" Natalee's remains are found her body was planted there.

This is a major game and unfortunately we are all sucked right into it.

I also believe that all the talk about the cage and what was in it (proof is in the pictures) had something to do with it.

Like it was said last night.  As long as it gets Natalee off that island I am happy that she will be brought back on American soil and back to her family who has never given up on her.

The father of missing Natalee Holloway, Dave Holloway, in Aruba, a ranger residence. This confirms the public prosecutor in Aruba.

The dog is from a dam which flooded earlier statement was made by a witness. The OM has found itself at the dam, but nothing found.

The OM has no objection to the father once again looking for. The DA said that the father of Holloway would have no rest before once again the place was searched.

The tracker has agreed to for his search.The police will monitor.

The source of the blog message was a steward (ess) on a flight from Miami to Aruba aboard the ranger had seen. The sniffer dogs supervisor would have said that the dog would go looking for the remains to Natalee Holloway.

The then 18-year-old Holloway disappeared in May 2005 after a night shift to Aruba.  The Dutch Joran van der Sloot was the last to have seen her alive.
He was something suspicious in the disappearance of Holloway to have had, but there was never enough evidence against him.

In Aruba is currently one specially flown tracker with a dog on a specific place to search for the body of Natalee Holloway. This report Foxnews. Internet-circulated rumors that Holloway's body was found, but they appear far wrong.


The sniffer dogs supervisor has been asked by Dave Holloway to search for the remains of his missing daughter Natalee.  He is convinced that a certain place is not enough research is done.

The tracker will search in a flooded dam on the island which previously was spoken by a witness. The Public Ministry is not that the body of Natalee Holloway in the dam area.

Because Dave Holloway would not rest before he was able to convince itself, let the tracker for his course. The man with the Public Ministry and the police in Aruba agreed on the search. The local police keep an eye out for them to keep.

The Public Prosecutor (OM) on Aruba, the arrival of the research team confirmed, but not actively helping them.  Chief Public Prosecutor Hans Mos, the action as "KUL. "The discussion of the body that may or not, we have long had," says Mos.

A Long time has past and the poor people in Aruba never came to claim the price… Aruban, Dutch, American, Surinam living in an expensive island where 50.000 are over 50 yr old and where 25000 are of school age and 50000 65yr and up on pension and none of them will like to win the lottery. Ask yourself why?

Is it that because they have to much casino and 1,000.000.00 will not make a difference or is it that they have done so much money laundry that they do not need a million or so to boost up their portfolio or is it that they are so corrupt that they do not see a Million Dollar…???????

Considering the water was low in February, 2008 and ... dry in May, 2008 ... logic dictates if anything Natalee Holloway related was suspected to be in that pond it would have been retrieved.

Kyle Kingman - 04/07/08: There are 18 targets. Two are definitely tires. The rest, who knows. It's likely tin cans, mud clumps, and debris. There is one small box-like target but it's only 2ft across and doesn't have much relief, unless it's completely sunk into the mud (likely). I can find something about the size of a hockey puck with that system in good conditions. The water was very shallow when this survey was done. Remember, in February 2006 the pond was almost dry.

In the month of March 2008 a witness who was urged by Dave Holloway to step forward confronted the Prosecutor’s Office. The man gave a statement on March 16th 2008 accompanied by his lawyer. This witness statement is already widely known: the witness claims he saw Joran van der Sloot in the middle of the night of May 30th walking in front of his house, soaked up to his chest, walking on one shoe and heavily breathing. He was walking into the direction of the hotels, coming from the direction of the Church at Noord. What the witness was actually aiming for was the Police to conduct an intensive search in the dam of Monserrat. Nevertheless the witness could not give us any reason why the Police should conduct a search in the dam. It was the conclusion of the witness that Joran had come from the dam since he came walking from that direction.

There was no indication whatsoever that Joran had been at the dam. For that reason the Police were not ordered to conduct that search. Later, people from the Persistence asked if they were allowed to conduct a search. They were told that they could go ahead if the wanted to. No results were reported. Besides that, the Monserrat dam, which had completely fallen dry by that time, was not long before that request completely searched by dozens of people, for a completely different reason. No results were reported.

This is what I was remembering but didn't want to say too much about for fear of appearing to dis someone the family, well at least part of it, has commissioned for a search.

And I suspect Tim Miller is too exhausted to go there at this time as well.

But it was the concept of Dompig demanding payment for Goldba from Beth for something Beth didn't commission.  Couldn't he pay out of the millions and millions Aruba CLAIMS to have spent on this?  Or was that only for ALE to claim as overtime for the eating of Frosted Flakes and such?

Have you emailed Dave your tip?  That area was searched by TES at one time but if you have reason to believe it should be searched again then I think if you were to email to Dave along with your reason, perhaps it could be done yet again?
