Maybe Ron realized *after* that funky 911 call what really happened (whatever that is), and decided to stay quiet concerning Misty.....(if her irresponsible behavior is what caused this).

Now, why would he protect her?  Thank goodness, I'm having trouble putting myself in his/her shoes and trying to think like those folks.  hee. and ick.

Last I heard from Misty, she wanted the media to leave her alone.  Wonder if she will ever take JVM up on her offer?  I like that JVM wants to be fair to all sides.

Okay ~ I'm just throwing this out there in VERY simplistic terms:

Could Misty have *accidently* (her claim to Ron) caused Hayleigh's death/disappearance....AND, Ron is actually protecting Misty for whatever reason?

I know a lot of us agree that Misty's the key (first part of my question) .....but what about the second part I mentioned?

Now that I read this, it sounds really goofy.  oh, well ~ just a thought

And, by the way ~ I am sick of hearing about that OctoMom.  Gag me. I can't turn the channel fast enough.

I really hate it when they have these talking heads on their shows that have not kept up with the case like that ninny that just stated on JVM stating that we do not know how long Haleigh had been missing,  that Haleigh could have been missing for two weeks.  Hes trying to just take over and answer all the questions.  Said no one other than LE had been inside the trailer since it is no longer a crime scene.  Geeze!

My take on Ron / Misty ~~~

I really don't think...that Ron has a CLUE that Misty MAY HAVE or DID something to Haleigh.

Misty was Amber's baby sitter, and said he would get her man.

Now, in Ron's presence and possibly the rest of the Cumming's family, Misty was the sweet, innocent, lovable girl that just adored Ron's children.

However, I feel that Misty was jealous of Haleigh.  Ron appeared to dearly love that little girl and I think she was put ahead of MISTY.  So...Misty sought some revenge against her.

Why they got married?????  Maybe Misty got drift of the fact....if married no testify, etc....  Misty seemed happy at the wedding, Ron..not so much showed happiness.

Remember all, Ron was at work.  He may not have one once of belief or evidence that Misty did not like Haleigh, so therefore, he has no reason not to believe what ....little information she is giving.

He is not really defending her, as he doesn't really know what went on that night.

Now, if it comes to be that Misty is definitely involved in Haleigh's disappearance, I would bet lots...that RON....will be livid.  He will find it hard to believe, and so may the rest of the family.

I am with you.  She needs to at least make sure her "experts" are familiar with the case.  He was not only and idiot, but a smart ass.

When I saw all those reporters and that mad rush JVM was showing at suleman's home I had to change the channel.  The human race has dipped to the lowest.  It made me sick.  It is all sensationalism no matter what the subject. where is that puking monkey. sorry, but that is my opinion.
