If you want more information on the case there is as part of this forum a thread where you can read transcripts, interviews etc. that will catch you up.  It has been going on since Feb. and the information is quite lengthy.

Just go back to the main Haleigh thread and scroll down and you will see it.  Probably would be a good idea because it is quite complicated.  Lots of different opinions.

Ron isn't Mr. Innocent, IMO.  He admittedly dated many teenagers so he likes to control his immature, naive "women".  I don't get why he's getting the benefit of the doubt when he is probably a big jackazz.  His fake crying really bothers me too.

Ok jumping in here.  If I understand the attorney correctly, Crystal never witnessed any of the alleged abuse of the children by Ronald first hand.  They intend to show this with witnesses?  I tend to believe that someone did have concerns and reported them to DCF b/c they stated they had been to the house before.  I tend to believe it was based on allegations of abuse b/c of Ron stating that he spanked the children according to the guidelines given by DCF.

So, are there new allegations since then?  I would like to know how long ago the DCF investigation was.  If there are new allegations that Crystal's attorney brought to the attention of DCF, where in the HECK were these witnesses before now?? Why didn't THEY bring report to DCF directly??
