Am gonna be chillin' for a bit tonight.  I still have that dang pneumonia/cough/pleurisy/rib thing going on, which heals to the point of yippee I feel great, then comes back to the point of today, draggin' my azz, hurts to even breathe.  Goin' to doc tomorrow... Again. 

Will be in here watchin' for updates in this case, cuz it sure seems something is gonna blow very soon!   Just going to emulate our QuietMonkey for a bit.  No wait, that one isn't so very quiet sometimes.  heh

Ron never called Cobra back after the evening when the two of them talked about the case and the re-enactment. I have this suspicion that neither Ron nor Misty want to do this, Ron I believe was just playing Cobra. And I would love to know more about this Greg, it's weird nobody has found out anything on this guy.

It was stated on Nancy G. last night that his lawyers told Ron he couldn't go on her show and he had been told he is to talk to NO ONE.  Also on Jane's show earlier it was said that Ron was out riding dunebuggy's (in the mud-whatever they call that) so he was having some fun last night.

Mud grubbin is what my sons call it.  It is fun, and tension relieving.  But can't feature either one of them would be doing that if their daughter was missing.  How do you have fun if your child is missing.

Mother's Attorney Releases Photo Of Haleigh With Cuts, Bruises

The girl was smiling in the picture, but she also has some visible scratches on her nose and chin.

Haleigh disappeared 39 days ago; however, the focus of the kindergartner's case has drifted away from the search for the child and toward the ongoing war of words between her parents.

Sheffield's attorney, Kim Picazio, said the recently released picture of Haleigh shows cuts and bruises on her face that could not have come from a simple fall.

On CNN's "Nancy Grace" Thursday night, Picazio accused Cummings of abusing Haleigh and her younger brother, Junior.

Picazio referred to the picture of Haleigh with cuts and bruises on her face. The injuries might have been from a fall at school, but Cummings might have caused the injuries, Picazio said.

"The nurse called the parents. They picked her up. Then, on the 12th -- six days later -- the injuries had worsened to the point where she had to go to the ER. She had black eyes, a laceration to the face and a scrape on the cheek. None of that was reported to the nurse," Picazio said.

The attorney for Haleigh's mother says the cuts and bruises on Haleigh in this picture couldn't have been caused by a simple fall.

An expert on "Nancy Grace" responded to the allegations, saying, "He's getting slimmed. It's just so unfair because it's so difficult to defend himself."

Cummings has not commented on the allegations. However, his mother and grandmother have vigorously defended him, saying he loves his children.

On Thursday, he hired the firm of Kimball and Snider of Palatka to represent him on a pro bono basis. A day later, his attorney released a statement that was critical of Sheffield and her attorney.

"The attorney and mother (Crystal Sheffield) have appeared on national television to make unsubstantiated claims that Ronald Cummings sees as a 'cheap shot' and publicity stunt that detracts from the search for Haleigh," Cummings' attorney stated. "The mother was previously denied custody in court and allegations of abuse against Ronald were judicially dismissed."

I have always respected you and the justice you seek for victims.  I have to say tho, that recently you have NOT been on top of breaking news at all.  There has been breaking news at least twice now, while your show has played taped and repeated old news ad nauseum, along with new news of your darling twins ad nauseum.  For the love of God, Nancy, PLEASE get with the program and bring us the UP TO THE MINUTE BREAKING NEWS, or step aside and let someone else do it.  mmkay?
