Roughly translated:

higher commonly continued education

So it's more like continued education than high school.  In the USA we would not consider that still being in high school.  We would consider it maybe a Jr. College?

I need some coffee, so maybe a ride to Starbucks might work..  I think I need to learn to not offer to do things for people.. My friend that I played tennis with last night is going to Columbia, SA for 12 days and I told him I would drive him down to Miami and pick him up and also feed his pets for him.. His ex_gf told him that she too was going to be out of town, so I felt bad and offered.. See you later alligators!

Steve Croes also said he saw Natalee "after" the beach.  But his story included the HI drop off and walkie-talkie carrying security guards.

All of this is interesting.  But how does Jan van der Straaten know to relay -- however indiscreetly --  to Paulus that Natalee was alive "after the beach" and had been sighted and that's why after their first round of questioning, the boys are not questioned again.  From Paulus' statement:

....From what little information I got from Jan van der STRATEN, I got some hope that the girl was seen after she was dropped off at the Holiday Inn. He did not say this in so many words but I took that as an explanation as to why the boys weren't asked to give further statements to the police...."

Or is this Paulus and van der Straaten creating the false witness story for Steve Croes (or Hiram)?
