Cappy...since GGma told that bank to press charges, do you think Cindy went to the bank and begged them not to?  That part didn't seem clear from GGma's statement.

IDK Bluesy. Someone stole my BoA debit card number while I had the card in Mexico. I didn't use the card while I was away but someone charged over 2k while I was gone. BoA gave me back my money but I had to answer questions like had anyone ever used the card before, etc. I answered truthfully. My brother used it years before to pick up prescriptions for me. Because I had let him use it (not even the same card, it had already expired) they took back all the money they credited back to my account. The only thing they didn't charge me was the overdraft fees. So maybe because she didn't press charges the first time, it came back that BoA was coming back to Mrs Plesea for the $300. I don't know, just a guess that could be why the bank didn't file charges. 

Thanks JSM they seemed to let that part hang.  Wow...can't believe they didn't credit you because you let someone use it once a long time ago.  Was that legal?

Your welcome Bluesy. I don't know if it was legal. I didn't question it, just believed what they said. It broke me, I lost my house because of it, because I didn't have money to pay my house payment. But I think God works in ways that sometimes we don't understand. As soon as I lost my house, the neighborhood went to hell, shootings, illegal chicken and dog fights, etc. I truly am glad it happened because it got me the hell out of there!

JSM-  I am sorry about you losing your house!  Sounds like you're better off out of that neighborhood.  I know the feeling-----I lost my house a little over a year ago b/c of a lay off.  Not easy transitioning back into an apartment!   

I'm sorry for you Zoeandme, more than I am for me. I got screwed on my house. First time home buyer with no Realtor. The seller's said that they would pay for the inspection, stupid me thought that was great. I said OK, It had a flat roof, inspector said it passed with flying colors. Being young and dumb at the time I bought the house. First night it rained, the AC unit was on top of the roof. The rain poured down straight through the AC unit down the walls and I also didn't know it had black mold at the time. I am so glad now I am in an apartment now. I was so depressed, but thinking about it now God gave me the will and strength to get through it. I hope you have found a job and believe me things happen for a reason. The only thing I miss about my house is my yard, then I wouldn't have to schlep 4 flights of stairs to take the dog outside.   

JSM, I miss the yard too.  And that's the only thing for me, as well!  It was fenced in and great for Zoe to run wild in.  Now I have to walk her, but I got lucky and got a ground floor apartment.  So walks aren't too bad.  Although she's small, she's a terror when we come across other dogs out on the sidewalk.  Its been a year and a half now actually and she still acts like she owns the place!    

Your Zoe looks like an angel compared to Josesama. He is a terrorist with other dogs. Hence his name.  I feel your pain about walking, I have made a resolution that Joe and I am going to get up early and walk for 45 minutes. I need to lose about 30 pounds before the end of May.

awww, thanks JSM...i've missed you too!  nope, didnt grow into my ears but got me a nice new set of teeth     work has been keeping me so busy but i dont complain since i'm grateful to have a job.  hope you had a nice vacation and birthday!  I still read here and try to keep up but i dont post much since i dont have anything intelligent to add

Glad I made you laugh Mizjay. I love that word schlep, not sure I spell it correctly, but I remember the 3 stooges used it a lot.  I hated them as a kid, but if I watch them now, they make me laugh my monkey butt off. Trying to stay on topic, I hate the Ants!

I'm fine Leroy, I just wondered it you were okay.

By the way I remember in science class the earth is round, therefore the Ants cannot fall off of it intentionally due to something called gravity. BUT if all monkeys could give them a BIG push, then they would fall off the earth.  Maybe they should leach onto the space shuttle like that litte bat, then they would be in outter space forever!
