Have I ever said how much I love being a Monkey??  What I love even more than being a Monkey is the sheer fact that we do not have to stoop as low as some other places and create what apears to be an online version of a slam-book.

See kids, this is what happens when your education does not reach past the 3rd grade.

Juvenile does not even begin to cover it.  What a thread of wacko's!

What I find even more amazing is the same people who write about and claim to hate SM, read here every damn day....MUST SUCK to realize no one gives a damn what you think or say.

Only word that comes to mind is PATHETIC!

Hi mytime. Can I say your Easter Bonnet is hawt!! I just wanted to say hey to you. You are one of my many favourite monkeys.

Awww Thank you JSM!!  That is so nice of you to say!!!  CBB created my new Easter oufit - she is one talented little Monkey Boop!!

I feel so pretty!! lalalalala  LOL

Dolce I will tell you what upsets me.  Poster A and B post beside each other for 4 years.  They share ideas, they share emails, pics of grand children, puppies, life stories, etc.  Then one day poster A moves to another forum.  Poster B starts picking at poster A on the forum.  Then suddenly all of the things they have gleaned about each other is brought out in the fourms.   Do we want to see a pic of poster B in her red nickers??   No.  I can understand a little healthy picking at one and other, but not the all out hate!!!!
  GOOD POST A1!

Please keep the red nickers pic to yourself...no one needs to be subject to that sort of torture!

there are two set in stone and basic rules ive learned on the net in the 11 years ive been online. they are still as universally observed today as the were in 98 and they are:

1 - dont type in all caps all the time.

2 - dont ever post pics of other peoples kids, grandkids or other relatives.

2 is lower than low and despite the general air of 'anything goes on the net', that alone is sure to get you universally condemned.

Well, the people A1 is referring to have not only gone against rule #2, but they have taken it upon themselves to stalk some SM member's children, leave threatening phone calls and voice mails..and driveby's from what I understand.

All because they were banned....Wa Wa!!

Me!!!  I met them and many others (Mamas and Papas, The Righteous Brothers, Beach Boys) etc etc.  I had a non paying job for the newspaper to take photos and interview all the acts that came to town - fun times.  I will show you pictures some time!!!

Where I went to high school, Bo Diddley's daughter was in my class and I think she got her Daddy to help get some of the biggest acts at the time to give free concerts at our school. Her last name was McDaniels or something like that.

Anyway, I was an art major and I was - ahem - "teacher's pet" of the Art Production teacher who would show me the list of art projects that needed doing and let me have first pick so naturally, I grabbed all the poster projects for the rock n' roll acts because that gave me what amounted to a backstage pass so I could supervise the set decoration, etc.

I still have a huge eight foot by four foot poster rolled up in a closet somewhere that was autographed by Bo Diddley and the members of his band. It was the backdrop for his free concert. I did all the backdrops but had to share the work with two other students for the concerts given by the Sunshine Company and Cannibal and the Headhunters. I got the Sunshine Company's autographs but the other students ran off with the Cannibal poster.

Speaking of going to extremes and in the good old days of the 60's before Homeland Security would have made this impossible, I was in a mob of teenage girls who greeted the arrival of Billy J. Kramer ("Bad to Me" and "Little Children") at LAX. It was blasted on KRLA radio for days ahead of time so there were hundreds of girls there.

My mother drove me and my little brother and best friend to LAX then stood far back from the fringes of the mob and watched the chartered plane taxi up and Billy J. Kramer get escorted down a ladder-ramp whatever you call those thing sthat go right up to the plane door. He was going to bypass the mob. He thought.

I guess the area where we teenage girls were all waiting kept him hidden from us. My little brother ran up and told me Billy J Kramer had snuck off the plane then he took off. Then some girls found a way down and outside and the guy in charge of the plane allowed some of us to run up onto the plane, down the aisle and to actually see the little room-ette where Billy J Kramer had been sitting. We were not allowed to linger or touch anything so it was a quick glimpse then back into the terminal again. That would never happen today.

So then there was a shout that Billy had been spotted leaving the terminal and was at the passenger pick-up zone out front so the mob raced to see him just as his limo was pulling away and my brother was jumping back up on the curb with Billy J Kramer's newspaper in his hand. He presented it to me and I was the envy of all those girls. I kept it for years but don't know where it is now.

My little brother figured out for himself that Billy J Kramer would be trying to make a quick exit out of there so he raced outside to the front and was the only one there who was interested in Billy J Kramer when he walked by - and he was only interested in him because of me.

I once got to stand backstage at the Hollywood Bowl when the Royal Ballet (from England) was performing there. I could have had the most close-up view ever of Rudolph Nureyev but I barely knew he was there since I had a big crush on one of the principal dancers (my best friend, whose Dad was pals with the ballet director, also was crazy about this guy who was much too old for us 14 yr olds). We were competing for his attention and he must have been laughing his ass off at us. He thought it was pretty funny to give us a tour of ballet dancers in various stages of undress and preparations, especially the guys in tights. Somehow, he thought it was cute to let us be embarrassed to be surrounded by near-naked men. Maybe he was trying to teach us a lesson. They used to all hang out around my best friend's swimming pool and it made me mad that English guys could get very tan with no sunburn and I couldn't get a tan to save my life and I was a native California girl.

are you serious?? stalking is a crime and the cops dont look kindly at that, plus they look at folks who take it from the net to real life as disturbed and dangerous individuals. im not saying that to slam anyone, its a cold hard fact.

Yes Peanut, I am serious.

Stalking is a crime, however Cyber Stalking is not yet a recognized offense in a lot of states.  The law is slowly catching up to technology.  You should always report cyber stalking though to the authorities, even if the laws have not been passed in your state, because you atleast have a dated record.  Once the laws go into effect, which many states are set to put them into place this year, you have a case already building and a foundation of incidents set in place to help get some action and help.

the really stupid part is that any valid point anyone might bring up, im speaking in generalizations now, will inevitable either be lost or overlooked when people choose to engage in such behaviors. so why would anyone behave that way unless their message is significantly less important than their egos.
