I have a feeling this is the same area where the makeshift chair and lean to were found.  Mainly because they were found early on and dismissed by LE and Cobra said/insinuated that this area had been searched 3 times previously by LE.  And Marine, well gee, Navy vet here w/2 Army bro's and we know all about bunges and tie downs for stuff.

Well I think one of the articles said Cobra was lucky because the marine had just unloaded his gun, maybe she wanted Cobra to get shot, I dunno, but she was def up to something!

As to TN I'm clueless I liked the theory someone had here to lure him away from town or another situation somewhere.  Just what would that be.  If Art Harris hadn't doled his stuff out in such a confusing fashion I think we could figure it out.

Aw shucks Blink thank you!  Really I loved my time and so did the bro's, they were the guns and I would patch em up and send them back out to kick more ass for our great USA.  I sometimes wish I were younger again and a uh...man!  I'd do it all again but have more fun with it knowing what I know now.

I say tie down.  A local over yonder said it looked like some native plant they have there?  Not to me, no palm frond is that long I've ever seen.  And the terrain looks similar to the video Art posted.  I'm checking to see if he responded to me yet.

I agree FCL it seems as tho Art/Cobra does embellish his stories, and I really wish he wouldn't, plus the crazy way all this stuff is posted just adds to the craziness of everything else, andthis case really does not need more odd things!! Maybe he'll release a director's cut of the "search" video that will give more clues.

Major Lurker here....But IMO.....Maybe the local cops are somewhat lacking in the skills of a case like this.  BUT...There are a TON of trained LE there from a bit of everywhere.  I would bet BIG money that they know EXACTLY what is goin on.  I have believe from almost the beginning of this sad ordeal, that Ron knows soooo much more than we are hearing.  I also believe that somewhere along the lines....he's made a deal, with LE, Cobra or whom ever.  Stop and think, not a word or sign of him in days now.  Why not???  It's been six weeks....Time to go back to work and get on with your life.  I wouldn't say that but for the fact that he married and honeymooned because *that is what Haleigh wanted*  Then wouldn't she want him to get on with his life and support his new wife and her beloved little brother??    Either he's OUT there...doing ANYTHING he can to keep her name in the headlines...OR accept your loss and get back to reality for the *family*

I cant believe Mother Teresa was in the woods by herself searching for 4 hours..
