I think it's very interesting that Gma Neves supposedly searched that area of the woods 'by herself' for 4 hours, supposedly sees something odd, then instead of contacting LE at once, who has the means of heading in there... she contacts Crystal's PI.  Had I been Cobra, I would have contacted LE at once.  What was HE thinking to fall for whatever Gma Neves may have intended?

And I don't think I want to know what she may have intended
Do we know just what it is Mother T wanted to show Cobra???????

I don't want to think it either.. Not that there already isn't a bunch of questionable actions by her.

And yet.. Sure does sound like what we don't want to think about.

Am hoping that LE has sharpened their pencils and are taking good notes!

Wyks, use the scroll button and don't bite the bait.

You're right KatGram, thanks!

2nd day of quitting smoking cold turkey.. hard to remember my name, let alone my manners.

Wyks-

Had to stop the topic to tell you that is amazing and I am so proud of you. I dont know there if there is one in musings, but perhaps you should start a thread for support of those in the same "journey". I have never smoked, but the topic is very close to me, if there is ever anything I can do for you, tell me. Your family will thank you and yes, there is a temporary psychosis involved I witnessed when I was a teenager and my daddy was quitting following my Mom.. Good Times
Your name is Wykes, just in case you forget!!!!!!
And I am very proud of you, as proud as a Monkey can be, and that is pretty damned Proud!!! You go, girl!!!!!!

LOL      Thank you so much, Lucky!  You're a great friend!

That is what I thought, too. So, the question is: Did Cobra search the pits/pens and clear the scene? Did Cobra call for LE backup?? What happened after Cobra left the scene? Has he spoken to Mother Teresa since the infamous flip flop day??

I am a member of WS as well, and would just like to say that posters who are members there have copied and brought posts from their PRIVATE forum over here to be mocked and ridiculed, which is childish and rude. And most of the ones doing it are hiding under a different nic there, apparently, which means that they are not exactly upfront with who they are, either. So IMO, those throwing stones at AnnaFL should probably take a look in the mirror.
With all due respect, I hardly feel that someone taking a post from WS, and bringing it here or anywhere else, is the same as a person inserting themselves in a case, and making things up and stirring the pot. That is what I don't understand, perhaps this person is unstable, I have no idea what is wrong with her, but that is just plain wrong.

And it is not like WS does not take posts from here and else where to put there, the difference between here and there is the Monkeys say where it comes from, WS passes it off as their own..the using a different nic may be because they were threatened with being banned if a member of here and there.. and you say we are being childish? I have not "picked" anything apart, I have how ever questioned who AnnaFl was and what her agenda was,if that makes me childish, I will gladly wear it. I am disgusted at her using a missing child for her little game and that now people are trying to make it as everyone else around AnnaFl and WS was in the wrong. pfft.. she was wrong, she created a big mess between 2 forums or more, have to look and see now, just to have a laugh... as far as I know, there never was an issue between the 2 forums until she came along...other crime blogs have been buzzing about how WS has been acting toward SM and things they have said just because of AnnaFl crying to admin as well as the other so called locals crying to admin... what ever happened to working TOGETHER to try to find out what happened.. are we in it for notoriety or to help find the missing?Anyone saying the monkeys are being childish and RUDE may want to look in the mirror as well. I could be wrong, but from what I understand, she said she wanted to show him something she had seen.  The underground hog pens.  Cuz Cobra said that on his way back he met up with that ex-marine dude who said she must have seen his pen/s, and said that LE had already checked them out.

But had they really?

Just gotta wonder how much of the 'good ole boy' thing *might be* going on with this LE.  That's why I'm glad that the FBI is in on this case.  They wouldn't allow this to happen.. would they?

I talked to an old gal last night that has grown up hog hunting, I posted about it, she said that is not "normal" to have pens under ground... not that she has ever seen.. will keep asking the old hog hunters I know that have been doing it for years and see what I can get on the underground pens, but so far, it is not a normal thing as far as I am being told.. fwiw.

Have you all ever heard the expression when someone is criticizing you?

It is usually more about them than it is about you.

FWIW - I originally registered at WS before there was even a Scared Monkeys forum back in early 2005.  At the time I was pretty new to the missing persons cases and how crazy nutty people can be.  I registered under this name (klaasend) for the Jessica Marie Lunsford forum and have continued to use it on other sites.

What I'm saying is there are reasons people choose nicknames and depending upon when they register in a forum it could make a difference upon what nickname they use.

NOW...when it comes to posts from WS or other sites, in general, unless it is a porn or x-rated site we PREFER you add the link to where you got the information.  I don't care if it came from Topix or WS or wherever, but I do want the link.

Thanks!

Amen, Klass!!!! Sure wish all forums made that a requirement - otherwise, ANYONE can say ANYTHING and post it as "fact".

Providing a link would really help me.

I don't post on any other missing person's forum. I post and read here, on SM.

But lately, I am really getting confused. It seems I am reading more copy/paste posts from WS and discussions about people posting there than I am seeing our own posts about the Haleigh case.

For me, it is getting quite frustrating.

Sorry, because I know my opinion about this will be unpopular.

Just wondering if anyone has heard if Misty hollered out to see if Ronald was at home once she woke up and noticed that the light was on in the kitchen?  Even when she went to the backdoor, did she yell out and say Ron are you out there?

I believe that would have been the first thing that I would have done, then looked to see if his car was parked where he normally parked it.

Has Misty said anything like this, I may have missed it.

What would you have done?  What would have been your reaction?

That would have been my first thought. Why would I think anything else, right?? Of course, this is IF I was telling the truth. I think Strickland can apply the same analogy he applies to our fave inmate.

I heard that a neighbor heard some yelling or screaming around 2:20 AM ..sorry I don't have confirmation on that.

I would have yelled out for Haleigh, myself. Inside and outside.
