Heart your last post, is the tape a porno tape, or God forbid is this a suggestion of child porn? Maybe I'm missing the point to the tape LE took.

My take on it Rose is that LE took the tape for fingerprint purposes, since Misty claims that the tape had been changed from that she had put on for Haleigh

Just popping in before I go to get a haircut ... I'm coming down with a cold. 

I don't just get a COLD when I get sick, I get SICK!!  I have fibromyalgia and lupus, along with a host of other goodies, so my immune system stinks!  I'm not looking forward to this!

I see there's nothing new ... UGH, where the HECK is Haleigh .. and what are her 'parents' doing to find her????

I find it ODD that when LE took tapes or DVD's (not sure exactly what they took), but WHY would they LEAVE ONE IN THE DVD PLAYER??  The DVD that was in the player was not the one Misty said they were watching.  Grama Neves said when they did the inside video, showed the player being opened and she commented that the DVD was a favorite of Haleigh's.

More inconsistencies:

The van...
We've wondered who the van belongs to, and not sure if that's been confirmed by LE or not. 

Early in the case we heard the van was Lindsy's, who lives in walking distance thru the woods just behind Ron/Misty. 

Then from that interview with Chelsea, seems the van was parked at her home that night (Chelsea), who lives a bit further away, not walking distance.  (?)  In that interview, Chelsea says the van was not parked the way she had left it earlier before going to bed. 

After that interview, we've heard from Misty's family that the van belongs to the family
and whoever needs it, drives it. 

We also heard in another interview at some point, that the van belongs to Misty.

Misty driving...

Early on, Misty said in interviews that she took Haleigh to school on the mornings that Ron didn't want to get up. 

By the way.. Misty does not have a FL driver's license.  (there are some strigent rules in FL for these DLs, for those under 18.) 

It's been reported in at least one other interview that Misty would also take her nephew to school/bus stop, along with Haleigh, as well as pick them up at times.  Kids (plural).

Locals report that they have seen Misty driving that van, many times.  And in particular, the weekend before Haleigh went missing.

It's been reported in sev. interviews that Ron picked Haleigh up from the bus stop on that Monday.  Although in another interview, Ron's mom said she picked Haleigh up that day.  And locals who were supposedly at the bus stop that day, have reported that Misty picked Haleigh up that day. 

It's been reported in interviews lately by her family, that Misty does not drive.  Although early on, Misty herself said that she does.  (who does her family think they are kidding?  surely not LE!)

Seems most of the inconsistencies in this case so far, have been about little things that one wouldn't think would matter much.  Things that when asked, seem would normally have very simple automatic answers, even if one was under huge stress. 

Such as.. who picked Haleigh up from the bus stop that day?   

Such as.. who owns the van.. who drives it?   

And because there are so many different answers about who picked Haleigh up that day, who drives the van, who does it belong it.... just makes so many of us wonder WTF??  Why does it seem that so many of them (Ron/family as well as Misty/family) cannot get their stories straight on EVEN the simplest of these questions/answers?? 

If we follow that reasoning out... WHAT does it seem they are ALL scrambling to hide??? 

Seems to me that if LE can nail down who actually picked Haleigh up that day, and who actually drove that van when/where that night.. they likely will be able to nail down their timeframe much better.

All IMO.

Suspensions have been recently raised about Ronald Cummings’ connection to drugs. There are at least nine arrests for drugs on his rap sheet, but no convictions. Suggestions have been made that Haleigh could have been abducted in revenge for Ron’s drug activities.


Jane Velez-Mitchell, unlike Nancy Grace, actually had some breaking news on her last show. She did a good job at sketching out Ronnald Cummings’ connection to drugs. While the authorities have been denying it, it is entirely possible that Ron either was or currently is a drug informant.

Judge Jeanine Pirro, former district attorney and host of “The Judge Jeanine Pirro Show”: “I`ve got his rap sheet in front of me. This guy has been arrested at least nine times. He`s 25 years old. I`ve got him on probation three times, and it sounds to me, and I`ve got to tell you, Vinnie, it`s starting to make sense to me. For him to have so many dismissals, ultimately, and a refusal to go into drug programs with arrests for cocaine, as well as for marijuana, tells me he`s cooperating.”

Furthermore, members of Haleigh’s family are starting to publicly act like they are indeed afraid of somebody who might be seeking revenge.

Teresa Neves, the paternal grandmother:“I — I cannot — that — Nancy [Grace], that`s things that we (INAUDIBLE) with the detectives. I don`t feel like any of that information ever should have been released because I feel like you put my grandson in danger when you say, you know, that he can identify somebody or that he`s giving clues on somebody.”

Was that an allegation against Nancy Grace being made by Teresa? This is more of an indication that the family members may not be telling all that they know, out of fear for their safety.

Now, if he was on probation for anything.. that means there was a conviction. They don't put your backside on probation, unless you have been charged and convicted of an offense.. Bottom Line.. And is it possible, that Haleigh went missing between School and Home? And the rest is the best story they could come up with.  Another tid bit, re read the commentaries of Ron and Cobra. "Ron stated, he was keeping Misty until Haleigh came home" Then the secondary comment "Keeping your enemies closer".  Would this be a reason for the family to protect Misty?  Who does she really belong to?

Thanks HH!  I checked this myspace blog out last night before hitting the sack.  Guess who it belongs to?  That woman "advocate" (forget her name now) who came out there and locked herself in the trailer, who was sent packing. 

And most interesting is the fact that this morning, that site is either down, or made private.  LOL 

The info on there about Amber and Jordan (def. Ron's baby), was very interesting! 

HH, did you by chance get a screenshot of that page? 

It was said in there that Jordan has the same middle name as Jr.  (Is it actually Jr? lol)  Also said that Jordan also has a genetic birth defect.    That Amber got the heck away from Ron, two weeks after Jordan was born.  That she wants NO child support from Ron, she wants NO contact with him or his family.  That no one from Ron's family has contacted her in all this time, until just recently.   

That's all I can remember off the top of my head.

Just think it's interesting that "the advocate's" myspace/blog either went down or was made private just after the addy for it was posted here.

EAST PALATKA, Fla. - Walking into the Putnam County fair, one can't help but notice the bright lights and the wild rides.
But some are hoping fairgoers will also notice the smiling face on flyers hanging at the entrance gate.
On them is a picture of five-year-old Haleigh Cummings, the Satsuma kindergartner who was last seen at her family home February 9th.

"You need to keep it in everybody's minds and keep everybody diligent and looking and hopefully catch a break somewhere. Maybe somebody has seen something or will see something," said James White, who was at the fair Monday night with his grandchildren.

Haleigh's family friends are putting out the flyers.

The Putnam County Sheriff's Office has a booth set up at the fair where they are handing out flyers and making sure people know they are available in case anyone wants to come forward with information about Haleigh's whereabouts.

"We hope that something will trigger their memories or they may have seen Haleigh or seen something that they believe is a tip and we can follow up on it and our whole objective is to bring Haleigh home to her parents," said Captain Dominic Piscitello, who is supervising the investigation.

Many people in the small community are hopeful Haleigh is out there and that with her picture shown, she may one day come home to a fun filled family night like others at the fair are experiencing.

"Hopefully she could still be out there, hopefully she still is out there and who knows if somebody has her when they might decide to bring her back into the open and it is important that people remember what she looks like," said Kathy Breed, who took her kids to the fair Monday night.

Haleigh's family friends say they will hand out flyers at the fair every night.

The 59th Annual Putnam County Fair is held at 117 Yelvington Road in East Palatka.  It goes until March 28. "

Four indicted in three area slayings

Four people have been indicted in connection with three Palatka slayings.

The indictments, returned by a grand jury late Monday and announced on Tuesday, include the man accused in the murder two weeks ago of an 8-year-old boy and two slayings that occurred in 2007.

"This is the culmination of a lot of old-fashioned police work, hitting the bricks, trying to track leads down and get information," Police Chief Gary Getchell said.

Getchell praised the "hard work and determination on the part of the officers involved."

The grand jury's charges:

� Anthony Jerome Hill, 25, of Palatka, first-degree murder in the Feb. 17 shooting death of James Willis II.

Police said Willis, 39, was shot and killed in front of his parents' home at 2009 Eagle St. in an apparent robbery. The case was investigated by detectives Tom Tipton and Mike Meredith.

� Gytonia Cheek, 28, and Quritus T. Lowe III, 21, both of Palatka, first-degree murder in the Dec. 25, 2007, beating death of retired teacher Myrtle McKinney.

A nephew found the body of McKinney, 58, in her Forest Glen apartment after she failed to answer calls. Cheek and Lowe were arrested June 26, 2008, after an investigation by detective Andrew Snyder.

� Zachariah Williams, 22, of Palatka, first-degree murder in the March 10 stabbing death of Dayquones Hill.

Hill, 8, was killed in his College Arms Gardens apartment. Motive for the slaying is under investigation.

Williams also was indicted on a charge of aggravated battery for stabbing Palatka police officer Todd Bryant in the face after the child had been attacked.

Getchell said he was especially pleased the indictments cleared the Eagle Street shooting.

"That's been lingering for almost two years and now we can close it out," he said. "A lot of man hours have been put into this."

Getchell praised newly elected State Attorney R.J. Larizza with supporting the department's efforts to resolve the lingering cases.

"I'm just impressed with our new state attorney and the team he has assembled," Getchell said.

Hi Monkeys.. I just noticed something,went to look at reports and print them and if you go to the section about the search,it appears there is a sentence blacked out. I wonder what that was? I know names and info on certain people may be, like a minor child or a phone number etc. but this appears to be an entire sentence... hate to post and run, but I have had a long few days,from truck breaking and getting ripped of at 2 different shops to finding a snake on my dryer so..... I am exhausted.....

Yikes!!  Searching!!     Hope you called an exterminator, or or or.. animal control, or or or.. 911?   Please watch yer step, and carry a big stick!   

I've read thru the next sev pages, so am current on what everyone has said on this.  Seems to me that on the police report, the person #5 who was blacked out, likely was someone who made a statement of sorts that LE included in that report.  Either underage, as in Jr., or a neighbor.  Dunno.  Evidently Chelsea and maybe other family members were there as well.  The little blacked out line above to the right, looks like a reference to Misty's brothers home, where (in later interviews) it was said that Misty would take the kids for a walk at times.  I guess that whole paragraph, couple of sentences, that was blacked out, was something someone said, or an action taken by LE, that LE didn't want the public to be aware of yet. 

At first I thought it was simply where LE had sent the search dogs, so as not to give away the location of where the dogs had originally been sent.  Except.... in that police report, they don't mention the dogs arriving until a few paragraphs below that blacked out area.  Which makes me think it wasn't the location then. 

Guess when there is an arrest made, this blacked out section will be made available under the Sunshine Law?

I would like to know what Ronald did on the weekend before Haleigh went missing, if Misty was gone out for the weekend I would think he was in a foul mood.

My oldest Granddaughter will be heading down near the gulf area on spring break..  And I am scared to death of her going down there.
