This is the outside of the pipes.  Notice they were originally labeled INLET pipes but for some reason that got changed and Caps started calling them drainage pipes.  I believe the concrete beneath them supports the concept that they are for water going into instead of out of the pond.

This was labeled Pipes behind Lekker which I believe is a restaurant.  They are above what would be the normal or average water line which would indicate for water going in I would think.

Ran across these looking for trap photos.  Just thought I would share in case anyone is interested with the search, etc.

Ritz Carlton first five star hotel 20 February 2009
ORANJESTAD - After four years of negotiations, the Aruban government has finally her first five-star hotel, The Ritz-Carlton. The hotel with 320 rooms will come next to the Marriott resort that is also the parent company of this luxurious hotel chain.
