Lee County Coroner Bill Harris says a
fourteen-month-old boy is the county’s latest homicide victim.
Lee County sheriff’s deputies were called to a residence in
Smiths Station Sunday at about 10:30 a.m. where they found the
infant unresponsive. Harris said efforts to revive the baby were
unsuccessful.
How the unnamed toddler died was not released, but his death was
ruled a homicide. There have been no arrests or charges filed in
the case.
The infant’s murder remains under investigation.
LINKHere's the thing... you are about to murder a child. You look into that sweet innocent trusting face. How do you, a human being, wish pain and suffering and death upon that sweet face? It..does..not..compute. How did someone look upon the innocence of the 18-month-old baby in this story and wish to kill that child? I will never never never understand. What motivates a child murderer to do what they do?
I know some might say a parent might get bored or impatient with being a parent but there are easier alternatives than murder. If a murderer is killing for convenience, it will be a whole helluva lot more
inconvenient to get your butt locked up behind bars for the rest of your natural life.
