I don't know if they have been through every house in that park yet or not, but they are definitely still there.  There were at least 6 or 7 cop cars in that entrance.  I didn't go in, so I don't know if there were more inside the park or not.  At this time, there is no volunteer search going on.  I tried from 10 a.m. this morning on.  I finally came home.

There is something to be said for Cindy Anthony getting as much air time as she did.  It doesn't seem to me that little Sandra is getting near as much attention.  Of course, I guess if they had waited 30 days to report her missing, that would make it more newsworthy!

Bless your heart for trying!

I wish Sandra was getting more media attention. Blink emailed Padilla so I hope he shows up there.  Or that Nancy Grace has something on her tonight.

I agree-

I have to be honest, the Sgt.s comments will make it harder to get coverage. Unfair yes, but true.

Thank-you for reporting this, so no volunteer search going on. I still feel little Sandra is inside the park. It's awful in my opinion how the media cherry picks what story they are going to cover, not newsworthy enough, it makes a person sick.

I saw an officer on the side of the road checking out an abandoned bicycle on the sidewalk.  I stopped and talked to him because the dispatch really wasn't too helpful.  He pointed me in the right direction, and I tried to get any small tidbit, and he said they don't have anything!

Also, I have friends in LE closeby with some connections.  NOTHING!!  It's so frustrating!

when you all are mentioning 'park' , do you mean as in the trailer park or do you mean an actual park?

From seeing the video of the father, there were a couple of LE cars on the video.  When I was there, there were definitely more.  I saw one with a rifle of some sort.   He was in between 2 cars, so I don't have any clue what it was about.   CNN had a truck there, KRON4 and then one other, I think channel 5.

The mobile home park.  If you google map Orchard and Clover in Tracy, you will get a good visual of the area.  You can see how close to the interstate it is.  Also, that end of Clover, it is not a through street.  So you are either going to the Orchard Estates, the motel across the street, or some houses down at the end of the road.    But when you are on Tracy Blvd. before turning on Clover, there are a LOT of commercial things.  Shopping areas, fast food restaurants, gas stations.  There are a few apartment areas on Tracy Blvd there too.

I kind of felt like the shopping area was fairly close, like walking distance.  If she had older siblings, cousins, friends, etc, I can see that being somewhere they might walk to.  I am hoping they are checking surveillance cameras in those areas.  If she had walked there once, it wouldn't be a scary thing for her to do on her own, in my opinion.  If that's the case, it opens up way too many possibilities.

thanks....I see....so you think that someone in the mobile home park is holding her? I think that is probably the case as well....
with all the cameras about, the LE might have more info than they are disclosing....hope so anyhow.

I wish I could say that I was turned away because she was found, not that they are not searching

I have a couple contact numbers and will be checking to see if they are organizing anything.  If so, I'll keep you posted!

HLN is talking about her now...

Shoot I missed....anything new?

the mom was on there ....she said that Sandra was very friendly, outgoing...
she begged whoever had her to let her go...
they have video from surveillance camera of Sandra leaving her house after school..
the police have questioned the gentleman in question who apparently kissed her...no one has been cleared at this time...they do not suspect foul play...

it will be repeated on the 5:00 HLN  .....for me at least HLN comes on at 4 and again at 5...usually the same stories...I usually watch it twice anyways in case I miss something...

this really bothers me...so at least a few people knew of this incident yet they still let their children run around unsupervised???  if LE talked to this guy....did he admit to kissing her?...if so, I hope they keep an eye on this creep-o...this just doesn't sit right with me

Thanks - i'm watching now....this is the first time I've seen the mom....she said she was home at 3pm and Sandra asked to go to her friends....so was the mom home all night? or did she leave?

I'm trying to figure out how you wait so long to call the police...i read earlier that they became concerned when she didn't show up for dinner.  if she was in school that day, you could assume she ate lunch around noon....i would think dinner would be long before 7pm.....ughhh....okay, im rambling and prolly not making any sense!

Bottom line, what has this man done to a child or children before the kiss and after? I'm going to be sick.

SPring! Awesome updates, we needed a local in this case..

So what is your opinion as to why if you feel LE has nothing, the Sgt. would say hes confident that she will be returned alive? How could he make that statement?
