Please Bring The Missing Home!

« Reply #1380 on: April 07, 2009, 10:55:57 AM »

Of course my internet stopped working at 10 pm last night, so I was frantically searching on my blackberry!  My heart skipped a beat the minute I read that a source confirmed the remains of little Sandra!  I can officially say that my heart hurts for this little girl and her family and friends.

I almost wish that I did not watch the surveillance video of her skipping and full of childhood joy! Not that picture doesn't make it personal, but this actually lets you see the personality of this beautiful child!

I wondered why they went to the church, wonder if this preacher did have something to do with this!  Did they say when they are going to state the autopsy report?

Sorry if my thoughts are a mess, being a mother of a 2 and 4 year old really hits me hard.

The land that Sandra's body was found is private property, my question, is the land fenced or can anyone drive down the roads next to the fields an irrigation ditches? I'll bet the church is the church that Sandra and her siblings were talking about going to on that Friday.

It kills to think about that surveillance video, watching that little child happy and skipping to a horrible conclusion. All I hope right now, besides they get the perp or perps, is that Sandra didn't suffer. I would imagine the autopsy results which will be done this morning, we might get a preliminary report, but maybe LE doesn't want it revealed yet.

If you were a crayon, what color would you be?

« Reply #1383 on: April 07, 2009, 11:05:17 AM »

I am just sick about little Sandra.  I too saw the surveilance video and it makes me so angry.  My prayers got out to all who loved her for her short life.

These stories  of children stolen while at play confirm my over-protectiveness of my own children.

We could learn a lot from crayons...

some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors, but they all exist very nicely in the same box.

Anybody can drive it.  We were very near there on Saturday night.  It is very dark and desolate.

Thank-you, I thought that was it, growing up in an area of many farms, you could of course drive around the area, but wasn't to sure about the area up where you are from.

To knowledgeable monkeys:  How specific does a search warrant have to be?  I would venture to guess that getting a search warrant for a place of business or church would be easier than for someone's home, but I don't know.

Something has sent them to that church in particular.  I wouldn't think just a "tip" would have them looking at the church, taping it off, after just a few hours of when the suitcase was found.  If Sandra and family attended the church, it would have been investigated earlier, especially since the pastor lives in the same park.

Not naming anyone in particular, but a POI could have had access to the church.  Alot of churches give members keys.  I sure would like to know who attends that church.

Terrible situation and I feel so badly for the family..

Law enforcment should at least consider this while searching for the responsible party..

1. Body found 2 miles from the park in shallow water, when deep water "Delta river areas" and fast moving water "California aquaducts" is not far away. It was intended to be found. ? or
2. The cameras were put up because somebody was slashing tires on grandpa's vehicle.. Reason was because Grandpa was disposing of Pet Cats from the park.. Somebody was angry enough to slash tires.
3. She was fully clothed in the same clothes she was seen in on video.
4. The act appears juvenile or done by somebody with an IQ of 22.. probably within the park.

If a person had murdered this child and had the ability to do so I think they would have moved the suitcase to a far away location. It almost appears that a person could have pulled this suitcase without a vehicle and had very little mind in its final disposal..
It appears juvenile in nature..

I would at least give some consideration to the missing cats owners..
Angry teenager / tire slasher ? Limited ability to move a suitcase.. Did it have wheels ? was it dragged to this location or was it taken from a vehicle to this location.. If it was dragged, under 16 and if it was brought by vehicle, over 16 years of age.

I brought this up early on, some kind of retaliation for the grandpa getting rid of cats.

Kimmie - i'm would guess that the search warrant for the church is a result of something that they found after locating Sandra. like you said, i think the church would have already been searched by now.

Has anyone heard where inside the park the warrants were served last night?  Did they find something at that location that led them to the church?   Do they think something may have happened in the shed?  Active crime scene...hmm.  So many questions

When they searched for sandra the first time in the park it would be with video cameras and snap shots photos.. All they needed to do was match up the luggage to a photo from the first search in the park.

The ministers home and the church must match up ?

I just don't know how a person who knew Sandra and spent time with her, outside of her immediate family of course, could interact with this little girl and then plan it, take her and then murder her...that is cold...just out and out cold and diabolical...some sick nutters in our world my friends....

In my opinion, the person wasn't very smart.  Those irrigation things are VERY much in use right now.  They may not have known what kind of water they were dealing with.  And just up the road was the bridge for Old River.  A few miles away was the aquaduct.  There were so many choices, why pick something so close to her house?

Had to be somewhere and was working with limited time? Didn't want to drive around with a suitcase with a body in it.

Was using a borrowed car? Had to return it?

Didn't have a car and wheeled it all the way there?

Was lazy/stupid like Casey?

Wanted her to be found....eventually?

Who knows.
