Thanks Spring- what can you tell me about the resivoir (public access, any gate) and the canal nearby. It looks like the San Joaquin splits off for abit just North of Tracy. The topo maps are not really naming anything but the big bodies of water. Also, how close is the aqueduct?

I don't know the reservoir.  I live about 30 minutes from this area.  I am very curious to know why they are in the Old River.  If you pull a map east, you'll see that there is TONS of water all around this area.  The delta is not far away.  If you follow Grant Line to Byron Hwy (east) you'll see the aquaduct crosses it.  There is also another canal that crosses as well.  They're fairly close together.    I know some of those roads off of Byron Hwy turn into dirt roads that go back to canals that lead to the Delta.    What would make them concentrate on Old River?

Maybe the LE received a tip, or something to bring them to Old River? Maybe something was found around the shore?

I'll tell you how I got there.

Googlemaps.com.  I put in Clover Rd, Tracy Ca.  From there, you can pull the map around by left clicking and dragging.  I like to see it on satellite view.  You'll see all the farm land, etc.  Grant Line runs parallel to Clover.  If you follow Grant Line to Byron Hwy going east,  you'll see the aquaduct.   If I am not mistaken, the sloughs that are in this area all run to the Delta, which you can get to San Fran Bay and out to the ocean.

lol, it's like your watching me through my webcam!! I did just that. I will ask lovely klaas if she will in a few when I know what I want to focus on. It looks like S.Tracy Blvd crosses over it directly, do you know how deep it is?

I don't know if this has anything to do with anything.   But I guess on Sunday, the volunteers were to meet up at a location at an old fire house at Linne Rd and Chrisman.  I hadn't been out that far and was kind of surprised.  I was told Monday morning to go there, and of course when I got there, there was nobody there.  If you google that, it is a WAYS away from the actual mobile home park.  I don't know if that was where a bunch of people could park or what.  But it seemed so far out.

Hubby just said they said on the news that they have all the cars of who belongs in the mobile home park written down.  If you're not someone they have talked to, they are stopping you.  He's kinda mad saying, that's pretty smart to let people know.  If they have her, do you think they are going to go there if they know they are going to be stopped?

Yesterday they DID discontinue stopping cars going in and out of there.  I wonder if them being back out there means they found nothing in the cars that they towed?

Is it Oakdale or Oakland that the other home was searched? I'm guessing Oakland, I can't find Oakdale on the map, but I'm not good at maps so....

He appears to be around kids quite a bit, I sure wish when the pool incident happened the police would have been called in. Does anyone else feel that we will be hearing a lot of stories about this Wohler creep soon? He evidently knows how to do things under the radar. I am curious if neighbors have seen children going in and out of the trailer, and is he married and does he have kids?
