Wow that is something that a Hello Kitty shirt was found. Is it for sure that she was wearing a Hello Kitty shirt? I mean was that what she wore to school that day? Or did she change clothing when she got home from school ? It must be on the video I would guess unless they can only see walking from the camera and not into it.
She has been missing for awhile and they said on the News on CNN today that LE has been going through all the garbage at the Transfer station - for all intense purposes.

Who would throw out a Hello Kitty shirt knowing that was what Sandra had on - and Is a Missing child " All over the News" in that area. Seems strange. I know that Hello Kitty is Common but come on .. its not that common. Lets not see another Winnie the Pooh blanket theory as they did with Caylee... Oh every kid on the planet has a Winnie the Pooh blanket.

I want to thank everyone for the links. It stopped me in my tracks with the Hello Kitty pink shirt in the trash dump, and her mother said it wasn't Sandra's shirt, I suppose someother person could have thrown their Hello Kitty pink shirt away, but what are the chances of that? LE going to the home of Sinclair's cousin and now another search of a home in that county. An earlier article stated LE took ladders, shovels and metal detectors to Sinclair's cousin's home. My gut is telling me this is a child porno ring, I just can't lose this feeling.

You know I just watched this very long and Uck but informative Movie on Cable last week .. It was called " Human Trafficking". with Donald Sutherland.

It just amazed me how Children can be swept away in an instant .. by POS's that steal children for what your biggest fear is ..in your gut.
They do not even have to stalk them, nor groom them ..like on the internet. They just scoop them up off the street. Or they are sold by a family member. God lord .. I don't get it No Rose ....... Lets pray she is not a victim of Trafficking ...sigh.

the ransom in Mexico thing is interesting but wouldn't they have asked for ransom by now? how far is her home from Mexico where the dad lives? why did he have to go back home this soon to check on his job etc..? surely his boss knows that he has a child missing and couldn't he have called his job? not saying that he had anything to do with this, just strikes me as odd that he would be going back already and then come back again...

I don't understand the " misquote" of the Striped Dress and Black Leggings.

I know that little girls like to wear overlapping clothing .. put shirts on over shirts..and wear tshirt dresses with leggings underneath.

But to misconstrue what she was wearing the last time she was seen... makes no sense.
Then you go back to the " Pink" shirt that Haleigh was to be wearing when she was reported missing ..to find out she was not wearing it ...... I can't believe that people cannot remember what a small child was wearing. Teenager, pre-teens that can be tricky, because they change clothes and exchange clothes at school with friends ..all the time.
Seems strange that this Striped Dress is not brought out into the news. Is it error or not?

That is what I saw on this Movie called Human Trafficking - It was a hollywood movie yes but they mixed in what is REAL and what is going on today. They showed Children going through the border to Mexico ..hidden in Trucks .. Not only that but " these are People that do this because they have insiders on the Border " that allow them to pass through.
Then they showed how the transport the kids into the Desert and make them Walk for miles and then put them in " houses" and them Farm them out .. yet again. The trail of finding these children is .. almost impossible. And then you have the " inside corruption" that allows this to go on. Everyone gets their kick back of $$.

Cookie the Mom strikes me weird. I am not saying she is involved - but she seems to be a little " lacking" .. that she has maybe a mental condition, a disorder ..something ? I can't see her being a provider and working full time and running a household. The Gal who stands with her and speaks for her appears to be very intelligent and maybe a Nurse? Or someone in that type of field. Just my impression and opinion.

And that is why they all live together in one house " extended family".  I don't know ..

It certainly has, I again didn't realize the severity of all of this. You hear some of this on cable news, but hardly anything, I really don't think most people are aware of this situation.

Police scrutinize viewers of child porn

Computer-savvy cops in Tracy have identified about 60 people who view or exchange child pornography, and police say they get extra attention as investigators search for the missing Sandra Cantu, 8.


Tracy police say they have their eye on people in Tracy they have found exchanging child pornography over the Internet. The state says 78 registered sex offenders call Tracy home.

But Tracy police have their eye on as many as 60 people in the city who they have found to exchange child pornography over the Internet, police said.

How many of one group are counted among the other is unclear. But investigators said their histories landed the two sets under the microscope in light of an 8-year-old Tracy girl’s disappearance last week.

Though police have yet to name any suspects in the case of Jacobson Elementary School second-grader Sandra Cantu’s disappearance, Tracy police spokesman Lt. Jeremy Watney said today that peoples’ criminal backgrounds are, of course, seriously considered and in some cases merit extra scrutiny.

In the case of a documented sex offender, that normally means they’re subjected to several more interviews and searches than would the average person, police said today.

One of the first things detectives said they did after the family reported 8-year-old Sandra missing Friday night was to question all the city’s sex offenders registered under Megan’s Law. Investigators went back this week to re-interview several of the registrants. Cops said it’s routine.

Police on Wednesday searched several homes on blocks where some of Tracy’s convicted rapists and child molesters live, including a few near the mobile home park where Sandra went missing nearly a week ago now.

In all, investigators searched 18 properties on Wednesday and several more during a probation sweep the day before.

Police searched a home early that evening on the 1100 block of West Larch Road, a neighborhood separated from the missing girl’s home by an empty field and Interstate 205. At least two registered sex offenders live on that block, including a convicted rapist and a child molester.

An hour later, cops searched Green Oaks Mobile Home Park — a neighborhood in eastern Tracy off of North MacArthur Drive. Two registered sex offenders live in Green Oaks — both of them convicted of molesting children younger than 14.

The day before, police conducted a probation sweep, which included homes along West Larch Road, across the street from the Larch Clover Community Center, where Sandra used to play with neighborhood kids, residents said.

Folks who live in the neighborhoods subject to the searches said they didn’t mind the double-checking. One sex offender, who lives off of West Larch Road very close to where Sandra lives, said he understands the need to keep a close eye on known molesters like himself. Especially, he said, considering the frustrating circumstances of searching days on end for a missing girl, without strong enough leads to find her.

Police also this week searched two places in Oakdale — a house in the middle of town and a mobile home in a neighborhood where a known sex offender lives.

Relatives of others subject to some of this week’s searches said they’re happy to cooperate with authorities if only to prove their family’s innocence.

“We all want to help, so when the police come knocking, we let them right in,” said Bonita Perez, whose nephew’s downtown Tracy home was searched on Tuesday. “We have our problems, our histories, and we have our differences, but we’re talking about a little girl who’s just gone. She’s away from her family and we’ve got to get her back.”
Police said that for all the interviews, searches and 600-plus tips, they still have no clear idea of where to find the missing girl.

Volunteers and a few crime scene technicians found a pink Hello Kitty T-shirt — similar to the one Sandra wore the last time her family saw her — in a dump outside of town today. Sandra’s mom Maria Chavez said it wasn’t her daughter’s shirt, but police said they’ll still run some tests on it to make sure.

San Joaquin County Sheriff’s deputies searched Old River north of town this morning and ended their search three hours earlier than expected for some reason police declined to share.

Donations from as far as the East Coast and huge sums of money from locals have helped bump up the reward for information leading to Sandra’s whereabouts to $22,165, including a $5,000 donation of campaign cash from Leroy Ornellas, a dairy farmer and Tracy’s representative on the San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors.
