Sometimes I can't hear the questions from the audience.  This morning they had a microphone.

He said the helicopter is  north of 205 now and over the open land there.  CHP  used the helicopter last weekend they said.  It has infrared, a good camera and they have binoculars and such.

I can't really remember anything new on this presser.  I missed the first 5 minutes tho.

I got a call last night from when I left my name on Monday.

They gave me a different meeting place than the CERT meeting place.  Not sure if it is more run around or if it is through someone different. 

I specifically asked if it was for a search or for handing out fliers, because I would bring my kids to hand out fliers.

She said it was definitely searching.

Hello Monkeys....HLN now reporting a search going on in a mh there in the park & a man was lead out in handcuffs ! A 44 y/o man!

HLN is reporting that a mobile home raid is underway coming from local KRON   FBI evidence team and tow truck on scene

One man led away in handcuffs, its not wohler or the other person of interest

HLN said a 44 year old man was taking away after 7 cop cars showing up and spending around 15 minutes INSIDE the trailer with him.

He is NOT one of the two previous POI's.

They will carry the press conference live shortly.

Sandra Cantu's Father Has Criminal History
Father Of Missing Tracy Girl Served Time In State Prison

TRACY, Calif. -- The father of missing 8-year-old Sandra Cantu has a criminal past, including methamphetamine problems and time served in Pelican Bay State Prison.

The Tracy girl disappeared March 27; she was last seen inside Orchard Estates Mobile Home Park, just off West Clover Road.

A search of court records in San Joaquin County Superior Court showed five criminal cases involving Daniel Cantu dating between 2001 and 2005.

Charges included possession of a controlled substance; resisting, obstructing, delaying a peace officer; possession of a controlled substance for sale; and possession of a hypodermic needle or syringe.

Records also show the court assigned Cantu to drug court at one point, but he was dropped from the program.

According to the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, Cantu was sentenced to two years in prison for possession of a controlled substance for sale. He served 13 months between September 2005 and October 2006.

KCRA 3 tried to talk to Cantu on Wednesday about his criminal history, but he became upset and declined to answer questions.

Cantu, who lives in Mexico, was interviewed Thursday by police in Tracy. He said he took a polygraph test. Cantu was also interviewed Wednesday by police.

Nicole Stevenson, a friend, said Daniel Cantu has been clean and sober for more than three years and that he volunteered to take a polygraph test when the investigation began.

Pelican Bay State Prison (PBSP) is designed to house California’s most serious criminal offenders in a secure, safe, and disciplined institutional setting.  One half of the prison houses maximum security inmates in a general population setting.  The other half houses inmates in the Security Housing Unit (SHU) designed for inmates presenting serious management concerns.  The SHU is a modern design for inmates who are difficult management cases, prison gang members, and violent maximum security inmates.

In Addition, PBSP operates two unique programs: The Psychiatric Services Unit (PSU) which is a 127 bed unit designed and staffed to treat mentally disordered offenders who are serving SHU terms, as well as the Transitional Housing Unit (THU) which is a 40 bed unit designed to reintegrate prison gang members back into the general population.  PBSP also operates a 400 bed, Level I Minimum Support Facility which houses non-violent offenders outside of the secure perimeter of the main institution, and a Fire House with 8 full time inmate fire fighters.

The man wasn't arrested. They just took him down to headquarters to talk. He came voluntary.
