On the video just released of Sandra, her flip flops cannot be hers, they must be her moms or older sisters, they are way too big. I just noticed that now, after watching the video several times.

I think that in today's Society - the most important lessons you can teach your small children ..before they become Sandra's age.
Strangers and or Adults who children meet in their Neighborhoods/ Apts/ Condo/
1. Adults * do not chose children as friends
2. Adults do not need a child to help them - Do anything .. not look for a Puppy, Help them in their Yard, Need their assistance ..for any reason. None.
3. Adults without children in their lives " Do not play with Toys" If you are lured by an Adult with a Toy or video game .. Say NO and get away from that person as quick as possible.
And last but least - Never listen to the Orders of an Adult you do not know -
As in a Stranger saying Come into my House, Get in my Car ..etc. 
Get away from that person and find someone you do know and tell them about that person. 

This is what Sick people do - they try to use their Authority as an Adult on to little kids .. Kids are taught from day one ... Listen to an Adult. I think that this law of the land needs to be revised !  Kids should not have to live in Fear ..they just need to know the basics .. of what NOT to do .. And what to do if put into certain situations.
Not that this is a cure all. Because kids are loving happy little beings and they don't understand .. But I think that if its explained to them every so often as they age. They will not be afraid or have fear, if anything they will feel stronger and more confident if God forbid they are in a situation with a stranger or with any adult for that matter.

that video made me really sad...she really did look like a carefree kid, just loving life....how could the LE consider that she might have run away when she was so obviously happy?  Noticed as well that the flip flops appeared to be too big for her...think Rosie mentioned that.. also, definitely looks like a backpack to me...

No Rose what I cannot understand is .. How is that Sandra was able to come in and go out " After the girls figured out they had not enough Money to go to the Movies" .. How she was to just roam freely without telling someone " I am going to this persons house" or my destination is .. Maybe I am wrong But I keep seeing in the news articles she was outside and missing around 8 pm.
She is 8 ..who lets their 8 yr old run around at that time " alone". Why was she not with her sisters?
I can't sit behind my screen and beat up Mom .. because I do not know the facts..

I just don't understand if that is true that she was able to run in and out at that time of night ..without knowing exactly where she was going ..or Why she was even allowed.

I wanted to share this - I found it online in regards to " Frank" Wohler who Kissed " Sandra" on the mouth ..when she was 6.
This is a review on Yahoo that a gal wrote in 2006 of his School .. she was his Student. I found her choice of words interesting. Her perception of Frank.

My Rating: I have been to many self defense schools and this school is by far the best I have ever seen. Sifu Frank is more then a teacher to his students. He is more like a father figure or roll model. I highly recommend this school.

Um I don't think that is a necessary relationship between Instructor and student ..esp young kids.  Martial Arts is a deep teaching not only physical but its Mind control as well. I am sure he gets his Giggles off of Making his Presence known in these kids lives. " Just being Nice" mind you.

It really hits home, my grandson who is 12 is not allowed to do so many things that I ( and even his mother, my daughter) was able to do as child. Being constricted by the very real dangers that these offenders concoct I feel in some ways lessons his ability to learn how to make decisions about situations that call for problem solving and little by little taking risks in the big world that help us to learn our strengths and weaknesses.

Before, any fetish or perversion may have been inside these folks but in order to "see" it they ahd to find seamy backroom porn shops to buy a magazine or a grainy flick, they had to worry about bad stigma from society. Now, in the comfort and anonyminity of their own home, 24/7 they can see it, visualize themselves doing it and then they need the real thing. It's sick.

I for the life of me can't figure why the mom waited until 8 to call the police. I wonder where the mom thought she was at, I'm guessing she just thought she was at a friend's house  I can't imagine allowing a child to go out and play around the complex, but it sounds like she did this quite often.

Yep.  that's another part of it, all these scumbags that produce this trash for internet consumption have to get children for the videos and still pics. It's awful to think about. Then we've got so many derelict parents and people strung out on drugs that are willing to trade their kids for the next fix.

I live at the Orchard Estates and have replayed this video several times, I can tell you she is coming from the back of the club house, and is walking past where we wash our cars headed towards her home, where it looks like someone from just the right of her caught her attention and not someone down the street at a long distance.

In case anyone ask, no I don't know her. I'm sure I've seen her before, but we have many kids here, so to me she's just one of many. Now that the weather is getting better and we changed the clocks where we now have more daylight, I'm seeing many kids outside playing again.

As a resident here I want all of you to know that the Tracy Police and the FBI are doing everything they can. Tracy can be very proud of them. So please show them the support that they truly do deserve.

To answer Say What's question, she is walking AWAY from our only entrance. I'm sure the police have checked this out but across the street from where she lives, maybe two homes over they have been working and painting on one of the homes for about a month now, and have many workers there. But again I'm sure they have been checked out.

My place has been searched twice, like everyone else here. And we have a Police car at our entrance to keep the media away. When I left the park yesterday the FBI was stopping and checking our ID, looking in our cars, and trunks. The odd thing today is there no media trucks across the street for the first time since this started.

No, she was not leaving the park. Our entrance is also our exit. It's the only way in and out of our park.

The exit is a wall. With homes in front of the wall. Where she lives there are about six homes down the road in the direction she is looking towards. The wall has a line of about 12 to 15 homes.

If she was walking towards the entrance/exit you would have seen our mail boxes which would be just to the left where we wash our cars and where you first see her. She is headed for the back of the park with no exit of any kind.

Well if she walked around the street or just turned backwards that would be her only way out. I would think the hotel across the street where all the media have been would have a camera in their parking lot looking towards our only way in & out, but I'm sure that's been checked out.

Yesterday was our trash pick up day, and I would like to think that the police had a empty truck pick up our trash to make it easier for those who are checking. With empty trash cans now, I've been checking mine to make sure no one has put anything in it. Because if anyone had anything to do with it who lives here, I don't think they would be crazy enough to put it in their own.

She's going across the street because you can see her shadow is getting longer and thinner. That yellow strip that you see is a very high speed bump. Our speed bumps here are very high and thick, which is good because believe me, it does make you slow down to near zero when you go over them.

No. The only way in & out is right behind her about maybe I would guess 20 to 30 yards. Where she is headed is toward a row of homes.
Where she is going there are maybe six homes on that row left in that direction including the one that has been worked and painted on with the many workers for the past month. They're still there I think, so I'm sure they had to be questioned to see if they saw anything.

She is coming out of a small parking spot, which can hold only three cars, as you can see her running between two cars. The two walls to her left are where we wash our cars.

If you were to stand in front of our only way in & out you would see the two story club house with a pool in front. If you then looked to your left you would see the street in which she lives on, and her home is on the left side of that street.

To answer Tinkerbell38 question we have 4 streets that run north to south. And we have two streets that run east to west. The east to west streets are at the front of the park and the back. In the video at the very end she was going south towards the end of the park. So if anyone took her by car they could have gone around the park on any of the other 4 streets to get out. The street she lives on is very busy. Behind the two walls where we wash our cars is all of our mailboxes, which is why it's has the most traffic.

Unfortunately for me, that may be the first post of yours I have had the pleasure to read. I felt like it was from my Mom to my children, or my Gram (Grhs) to me. What I loved about it was your sadness for your grandchild because it DOES have an impact, and things are different, but in contrast your embrace of it's necessity to protect him in today's enviornment.

No Rose- I completely agree. That makes Z E R O sense to me. She was newly 8 years old with older siblings. At a minimum, at dinner time, send one of them out to find her..  Who the hell am I kidding, I am applying logic when there is none. The reality is, there is no good response to that issue for me. It is a WTF? and is going to stay a WTF?  I am so sorry for this baby.
