SATSUMA, Fla. - For the first time since its doors have been opened, the Haleigh Bug Foundation is missing one of its prime components. Crystal Sheffield, Haleigh Cummings' mother, was forced to stay home and rest after suffering her second seizure in less than 24 hours.

“It’s lonely kind of, without her cause we’re always with her, but we want her to stay home and get her rest because she needs it,” says family friend Melissa Baumgarener.

Crystal Sheffield suffered the second seizure shortly after being discharged from the Putnam Community Medical Center Monday. Her fiancé picked her up and the two were on their way to her father’s house to pick up their 11 month old daughter. During that car ride, Crystal suffered her seizure and was taken to Flagler Hospital.

Her first seizure happened Monday afternoon. Sheffield was behind the wheel when it happened, and her SUV collided with a car in front of her. No one was injured.

Family friends tell us the stress of not knowing where her daughter has been for the past 50 days are catching up with her health.

“A lot of people down here that have been here from day one have gotten sick, and have been stressed out, and it’s taken a toll on everybody,” said Baumgarener.

Sheffield is expected to be fine. Family friends tell us she’s going to see specialists soon who can help her with aftercare.

It has to be so awful going through this for all of them...
I don't know how anyone gets through something like this...the thoughts going through your head that you wouldn't be able to stop would be enough to put you away in the looney bin...I feel so sorry for any family going through such an ordeal....

Good Morning all!  I have not posted in forever and have not had time to read all the threads. If someone could please point me to the cousin Joe thread that would be great. I have been trying to figure out who this friend/cousin is that is on Joe's myspace.  If you go to Joe's myspace you will see this particular person I am referring to on his myspace friends.
This is what I found: 
Joe has a friend on his myspace that when you go on his friends list on myspace he has a picture of Joe and he calls him his cousin. I don't know if they are real cousins, or if it just their way of referring to each other. To make a long story short. This person gives me the impression he is a gang member per his profile, "Crisp" and other. He also has pictures of guns and so forth. Someone left a comment on his myspace about FL on Feb 2nd, only a comment to the effect that that person would like to visit. So, I started thinking. What if Joe was going after revenge towards Ronald? Maybe he had this friend/Cousin come to FL with him or he came after?  Just a thought.

I agree with you that there is gang activity going on with some of these players.  Gang, drugs, thuggery, misfits, etc..

Some monkeys mentioned early on about spanish, or mexican lingo on some of the players myspace pages. What came to my mind, was the incarceration connection and gang connection with some of these players.

Not sure that there is a Joe thread, but there is info throughout most of the threads regarding him.

Also brings back to mind my thought of why the perp did not bother with Misty if she was there and asleep.

Also something that I have been planning to do is relooking at all of Ron Cumming's pleas for Haleigh's return. Ron either knows or thinks he knows who took Haleigh.

I have raised a child, as well as known many others, diagnosed with ADHD and "well-mannered" is not how I would describe any of them lol.

Respect opinion, but beg to differ, if they are more deficient than hyperactive, they have a tendancy to zone out, have a hard time concentrating. The ones that are more hyperactive, are the ones that can't sit still, all over the place.

My daughter is severely ADHD, but is deficient (like me). She has a cloud that she can't push through, and has a hard time staying with the class. But she is extremely well mannered, and wants to please everyone. Just daydreams constantly.

Thinking about the mention that maybe Haleigh could be in GA.  So, cousin Joe leaves and heads to TN, dropping off Haleigh on his way thru.

I am sure there would be some communication with whomever ( if anyone) that she is with.  I am sure they(the family) would have spoken to her by now, via phone, computer, cellphone.

Ron & Misty have cellphones, don't think a landline.  GGSykes has a landline and Gr Neves has a cellphone, not sure about landline.

Maybe time to start digging into some phone records.  If it would turn up, no contact, then possibly would indicate that Haleigh is not in GA or another area outside of Satsuma.

On this page, from the album at the above link, there is definite signs of gang involvement.  Guns, colors, throwing signs.  The saddest SADDEST part is the little boy in sev. pics wearing colors and throwing signs.   My gosh they are teaching him early!!

This is why I italicized "ADHD" .  My Son was diagnosed many years ago (with what would still be called ADHD, apparently), when ADD was not referred to as inattentive ADHD.
