Jail Officer Audio Tapes Weren't Supposed To Be Released
Posted: 10:02 am EDT April 7, 2009

Eyewitness News obtained hours of new DVD interviews, pictures and audio Monday in the case against Casey Anthony, including audio interviews with two jail officers that apparently shouldn't have been released.

Prosecutors told Eyewitness News they mistakenly released the recordings of the jail officers who saw Casey on December 11, the day Caylee's remains were found. At the time, it was still unknown if the remains were in fact those of Caylee.

The officers said Casey heard the news on the radio in her jail cell and saw WFTV's special report, in which investigators found what they believed were Caylee's remains less than a half-mile from the Anthony home.
The audiotapes were supposed to be held until a judge ruled on a defense request to keep them away from the public.

That mistake is not going to be good for the prosecutors, and rightfully so.
May I ask why you think that?

I'm wondering  if it was the video tapes that were't to be released not the audio.  All that was on the audio was the words from the Lt., everybody's been hearing the account for a long time ( not the actual tape )  but I thought Bozo didn't want the visual of it out.

Waiting For The Casey Anthony Trial Is Like Chinese Water Torture

For months I have closely followed the events surrounding the disappearance of two year old Caylee Anthony and then the arrest on murder charges of her mother Casey. Since the end of last year, there has been a slow release of prosecution evidence in the case against Casey Anthony to the point I have become tired of little bits of evidence being released each week and I just want the trial to start before the middle of October.

I know the US court system moves slow, but the murder case against Casey Anthony is moving slower than a snail. At this point in time, I am concerned that the State of Florida might actually mess up a good case against Casey, if they are given enough time to do so. If that happens it would indeed be a tragedy for Caylee and for the justice system as a whole.

From my point of view, I say 'enough already' and let's get this trial started. Casey Anthony is represented by eight attorney's and the State of Florida is assisting Orange County Florida in the prosecution of the case. Why do both sides need until October to be ready for trial? I really believe that the longer this case takes to go to trial - the better chance Casey Anthony has of being found not guilty, even if she is not.

I remember something from LP about beads, and a necklace or necklaces. But if it was just her buying clothes, I didn't look real close at the cc charges, did it say what kind of clothes, children or for Casey?
I understood it to be clothing for Casey.  Maybe it was clothing she was purchasing to go partying in?  Shows that she was not devistated over Caylee "missing".  IF this is the covetted receipt that Cindy was trying so very hard to hide, then I am convenced more than ever that Cindy knew from "day 1" that Caylee was dead, and murdered by Casey.
I believe they all did.

She is totally disconnected despite her words referencing her daughter being "missing."   She asks about why an amber alert wasnt issued totally forgetting she didnt report Caylee missing EVER, never would have if her mother didnt catch up with her.   She made a huge mistake there because she admits this "from everything that I have read up on & learned" which goes way back to March when her computer tells the story that she was looking up information on missing children in advance - this will slap her in the face no matter what tricks her attorneys attempt.
.

I almost threw the remote at the TV when she was talking about the amber alert...  thinking WHO did not report their daughter missing in the first place.  This girl is a piece of work.... self centered piece of crap!  Ugggh, she makes me so mad.     The jury just has to see these things about her. She can't get away with this.

Really sad news about Sandra Cantu. I had to get out of the house awhile.

Prosecutors knew the audiotapes were to be held until the judge ruled, they were not to release them, they did, whether by accident or on purpose, Baez has every right to be upset over this. I will be curious to see what the judge does.

Anthony: Casey's 'A Good Mother'
Grandfather Of Slain Toddler Opens Up In Interview
POSTED: Tuesday, April 7, 2009
UPDATED: 11:13 am EDT April 7, 2009
<snipped>
"Casey's a good lady. She's a good mother. She's a good woman," George Anthony said. "I really think what she's going through right now is unfair. She's been tried. I wouldn't want to be tried that way."

George Anthony praised his daughter's legal team, and said he knows how difficult the next few months and the trial will be for his daughter.
"She's got a tough road ahead of her, but I really think the defense team she has, Jose and the people with him, I think they're doing a good job," George Anthony said.

He said the family hopes to build a park where they and others can pay their respects to Caylee.
"There's not a day that goes by that we don’t think about her," George Anthony said. "The song of Caylee that was sung at our memorial, that's played every single day inside of our cars when we're out."

This is the most dilusional bunch of criminals I have ever seen or read about. A park is not a bad idea, good luck getting the Association to allow this. Well, sure Casey is a good lady and mother in George's eyes, George is mentally ill and whatever meds he is on isn't working. George, do yourself a favor and have your meds adjusted, because you are in another world.
