I agree! I also find it quite strange that the family would always speak about Caylee as "that little girl". Not my little girl or my beautiful granddaughter etc...it was always I loved that little girl. Very impersonal indeed.

Almost as a defense mechanism, a defense mechanism for themselves, as if they already knew she would forever be gone never to return, a way to sort of distance themselves from the personal level and change their thinking in order to get over the emotional aspect of it.

Maybe they are dong this with Casey too.  They know she is guilty.  Its their way to move past the emotional part of it all.

Their support is very hollow -- it is just a shell. They are detaching themselves much like Casey detached herself from Caylee. How the hell else could she go on partying while her daughter's body lay rotting?

Sorry, I am just not having a very good day with this and the Sandra Cantu case.

Wrote this to the General Manager:

"I am disgusted with the one sided news that Local 6 puts out in regards to the Caylee Anthony case. 
I no longer visit your site or watch your news casts due to the unprofessionalism shown by your Jessica Denafrio.  As long as she continues to be employed by your station I will tune out and recommend to all others to do so as well.  If you want an idea of what good journalism is take a look at Kathi Belich.

Well George, we think about Casey every day too.  We also think about CAYLEE, someone you forget to mention thinking about.

You have the right not to give up on your daughter, but that does not change the facts that she did not seem one bit concerned your grand daughter was missing for 30 days and the only actions it invoked in your daughter were shopping and sex.

She's a Good lady - sorry ladies do not lie, steal and use everyone around them

She's a good mother - ya right, out doing the rub and squish in full public view and not knowing where your daughter is does not make a good mother.

She's a good woman - as a woman I really take offense to this statement.

And BTW who the heII is this wonderful "SHE" you are referring to?

You may not want Caylee memorialized down the end of your street, but more to the point I would not want my child's body dumped down the end of my street.

You want to assist families in need to send a group to assist families.  What are you going to assist them with?  How to get more donations for your foundation, how to be oblivious to the truth, how to not cooperate with the law...you sure can assist them with a ton.

Hi Monkeys, I've been logged on all day but I've been barely here. Just have so much going on in my other real life! Just trying to catch up now, and this caught my eye. It makes me want to !!! Uggh, it just makes me so mad to read that! Why couldn't he just say "we support KC and will stand by her" and leave it at that?? I hate him trying to throw his biased opinion of his own daughter down our throats. I don't care what kind of person or mother he claims she is or was! Her parents are the last people who anyone will want to listen to. When strangers and extended family members start speaking up for her on her behalf I might listen (don't know that I'd believe them, but I'd listen for a second). Really who cares what G&C think of KC?? We ALREADY know! It's nothing new really, just him reiterating that they live in some other universe. I'm not saying they shouldn't love or care for their daughter anymore, but why can't they just keep quiet about how wonderful they claim she is. Stick to the real facts!

They should love Casey. They shouldn't stop. But what they are doing now is not out of love IMO.

Love her, don't enable her. Love her, and encourage her to do the right thing, well as right as it can be at this point.

She should admit everything she did and plead guilty.

Shielding her from the consequences of her actions is what lead to all this trouble in the first place. IMO.
