Cindy - the neck throttler...question: do we know if anyone other than Cindy and KC that directly saw Cindy choke KC?  I'm thinking that if they have Cindy on the stand and she denies choking KC, that it can't be proved unless KC gets on the stand and testifies to it.  I doubt that even Jose will put KC on the stand.

Putting Casey on the stand would be a very bad move on Baez's part.  The prosecution would eat her alive.

I believe the choking incident is hearsay - told to Tony L and Jesse by Lee who did not witness it.  A neighbor reported an incident involving a lot of loud screaming  and saw Cindy leave the house with Casey yelling after her but I am not sure when that occurred.

It's my understanding that if Casey wishes to change her original police report to try to frame someone besides ZFG she is going to have to get on the stand but I could be wrong.  If that happens, Ms. Burdick will eat her alive on cross.

LOL - Oh I didn't take it that way at all - I was just apologizing for being clumsy with the format.  Everyone has been so welcoming and helpful - I'm so thrilled to be one of the "barrel".  I noticed the Preview function (duh!) so now I can at least check to see if I'm tangling up the quote lines.

Do you think it will be rescheduled No Rose, now he has a high tone lawyer? Mr Morgan seems as high tone as it gets. I love that man, but maybe Mr Casey didn't reschedule because he will be a witness for the SA in the KC trial and Mr Morgan doesn't want Mr Casey's testimony out in the public, for Baez to get before the trial? IDK, just another dumb question from JSM

I'm very curious to see/hear what happens in Morgan's depos with Cindy and George.  But..the one I'm most interested in is Lenonard Padilla..which Morgan specifically re-scheduled to take after Cindy and George.  tee hee

I reluctantly agree with (I believe it might be Blink's?) contention that somehow Cindy and George will skate on this (unless one of the reasons she hates Baez is that he won't drop the countersuit and therefore eliminate their need to testify without taking the 5th).   I'll bet they have been busy all week autodialing to get a medical excuse.  So I am not holding my breath, and if those two are talking  we know they are lying.  Paddy though!  Yeah - I can hardly wait for what he's got to say!!

More and more it seems that the single worst think KC has done on behalf of her defense was to counter-sue ZFG. 

Likewise, it seems that the counter-suit is the single best thing for LE and monkeys...we all get to see a preview of what's going to happen in the trial.

I don't remember where I saw it but I did see a report a while back of the domestic disturbances recorded at the Ant household and there were a few.  If I had to put money on who choked who, I would probably split that bet.

Hey ya monkeys, wishing you all a blessed Palm Sunday for our fellow Christians, a glorious day for all.

Reading to catch up,  I'm just not shocked at all by what B11  posted for several reasons.  DC canceled his deposition at grave risk of contempt, I think its easy to see how he doesn't want to go down with the ship (too late for that Id say) speaking of ships (sort of lol) maiden voyage....OMG what Im avoiding saying on a sacred day!!   The Anthonys have a huge problem since Cindy admitted to detectives  during a subsequent search warrant after Caylee's remains were found that she "sent someone" to those very woods on Suburban (DC).  Casey despises her mother & after Caylee's remains were recovered it became obvious by her statement read by her attorney that she had new cause to be very resentful.   I do not think that Casey's defense will be successful in showing Cindy being responsible for Caylee's murder per se but they will sell her down the river with some sort of culpability, in a heartbeat -- I agree with so many on that & you could see it coming just in how they interacted with each other way back in mid July, much less the evidence.   But one of the key things that will seal Casey's fate is her statement to her brother "Maybe I'm just a spiteful B."

A few mentioned Casey saying to her parents during their jail visit "dont worry I havent said anything" another line that disturbed me came from Cindy was on July 15th...her contact to Casey (about the car), I think the text was pretty much quoted as being "call me, huge problem."   In that same jail visit Cindy tells Casey that if she needs someone to talk to that she can contact Dominic Casey.   The date of contract between Casey & Dominic Casey is Sept 12th, correct?   This should be very interesting for the Anthonys to explain why they felt the need for their  PI to also sign an agreement with their daughter prior to her being indicted on murder one charges for the suspected death of their granddaughter.   If memory serves, Casey was home for the second time after her second bond was posted but before her indictment.

Blessed Palm Sunday to you too Cappy. Hope the back is better. I always wondered why she said don't worry I haven't said anything to them. She was talking about being with the jail psychologist right? JSM doens't remember anything about a contract, so I cannot help you with the dates and I didn't even know about them wanting her to sign a contract with Mr Casey. I think that was when I had my surgery and wasn't a monkey.

Very good point!  It is strange that the Ants would think a separate contract for Casey was necessary, since ostensibly the PI was already working on her behalf under contract to Baez.  We all know now from Hoover's testimony that D Casey was running simultaneous contracts with these players, but I am wondering if they each knew?  I wonder if Baez releasing D Casey from his employ in early October had anything to do with this - particularly because Cindy  may have felt Baez was limiting his "options" in how he utilized Dominic. 

It's been clear that no one in the family trusted Baez too much from day one - evident in Lee's admonishment to her that her attorney would put himself first, then Casey's interests, then Caylee's, to George's "CEO" pep talk (not to mention Cindy's reported bat pounding incident in the backyard).   I've also thought the story she told them about how she chose Baez was a little odd - he mostly defended LE types from DUIs before.  Something in the back of my mind asks could she have known him from somewhere else?  Possibilities could be from former LE boyfriends to her "dark veiled" friends to speculations on escort service involvement.  I mean, they both seemed a tad intimate and comfortable with each other right off the bat...

Part of me feels badly about wild speculations, but nothing this family has said or done has been transparent or helpful in any way during this investigation.  So they have to expect the public will engage in hyperbolic hypotheses from time to time.

Thank you for putting the right date on that - I was wondering earlier when exactly that had happened.  I posted this link earlier as well, and I think this looks like the same day.  Michelle speaks for a bit and in the middle of the video George begins to answer questions - Cindy can hardly sit up she looks so drugged - her eyes are closed and she is swaying back and forth.
