David Kock said his clients never indicated that they picked Joran up.

that is one thing that I do believe... you know why?  Because I don't not for one second think that they were ever at the beach....

Exactly.  He never needed to be picked up because he was home already.

Upon re-re-re-reading the above portion of Paul's statement - I understand it to mean that Paul deposited 500 guilders in Joran's bank account.

And he says it's from the free tournament on Sunday night.  The MB girls say Joran was betting heavy at the blackjack table (after the poker game) and lost about $250.  I'm with San, if Paulus did try to go to the bank Monday am (and not just try to cover for being seen in Noord instead of at work) then it was to take care of the weekend activity.  Maybe get a debit card back that tried to access too much money??? JMO

This is what I wrote earlier today:
Pondering the actions of Paul on Monday, May 30, 2005. If we are to believe Paul ( I don't) he was at the bank, as soon as it opened, trying to deposit money into Joran's bank account, but was turned away by the crowd of people. I think that is his excuse for leaving work and being in the vicinity of his home but there might be another explanation.
When one goes to a ATM machine and makes a deposit, the bank credits your account with what you say you are depositing. Then you may withdraw money. I am sure that I am not the first person who has wondered if you can say you are depositing a cheque for $1000 and put nothing in the envelope, then withdraw up to the daily limit ($400 at my bank) If Joran was in a situation, early Monday morning, where he needed cash immediately but did not have the funds and knew that Papa would make everything right as soon as the bank opened, would he have done that and caused his father to make the dash to the bank imperative? Did Paul need to speak to Ruth Dijkhoff to explain the error?
It seems that Joran did not have any winnings from the casino on Sunday, so why was Papa saying that he was making a deposit of money won gambling into Joran's account

Leslie: One point I wish to make....yes, a person can deposit X amount of dollars into an account via ATM, and then is able to withdraw another X amount of dollars, BUT only if the account originally had that particular X amount of dollars PRIOR to that ATM deposit....in other words, the account had to have had enough to cover the withdrawal BEFORE the latest deposit. Banks aren't going to get caught holding the bag........unless that is, IF Paulus had been called by the bank that morning at work to come quickly and cover the withdrawal transaction?....maybe Paulus and the banker are that thick...it is truly possible.

No, I don't think so..he's gone now.  I doubt he'd answer any questions anyway, or at least none of the ones we would ask  Wink

I have 4 media players already installed on my computer and none them work to pick up Dana's show anymore. I didn't have problems until it became SM radio.  What's up with that? Can something be done at the technical level from SM side to make it work better with any media player?

SunFreak, look for a link to "VLC Media Player" or "VideoLAN" in Google or Yahoo.  I downloaded that player a while back and it will do things that Windows Media Player can only dream of! It will play ANYTHING I have downloaded, will even play a .vob file on a DVD. It is excellent and it has never given me any problems. It played Dana's program just now without a hitch as the default player.

I don't think so.  I've read elsewhere that Janssen is in the NL right now working with the Dutch team.

His lips have always been tightly zippered, which is a good lawyerly/client trait. He's not so terribly unpleasant....just slickly careful...he's most likely a very good attorney, I think. He's never raised my ire, as others have. He's serving his clients well.

So David Kock states that Deepak &/or Satish did not take JVDS home from the beach or any where on Aruba.

JVDS says they did.

We have an issue now dont we.

How can these 2 stories be so different?

Me?  I just called.  Did I miss another caller?  I said I didn't think the Kalpoes knew everything, maybe left Joran by the Pond, not at the beach.
