Usually, but not always~I was shocked when I did all my research on these pervs how many looked just like your average joe, bankers, lawyers, etc ........they just are the last ones to get caught because nobody tends to believe a well dressed articulate man is a child molester

Usually, but not always~I was shocked when I did all my research on these pervs how many looked just like your average joe, bankers, lawyers, etc ........they just are the last ones to get caught because nobody tends to believe a well dressed articulate man is a child molester

in doing the search for my area and where my grand daughters live, the mug shot of these pervs was always of creepy looking guys....but I know that it takes all kinds...oh, like some of the guys on Dateline when they did that show catching the pervs...most were creepy but a few looked normal...

Island Monkey can also start a collection of TY Monkey's.  I have lots and lots of them various sizes, even Jumbo George, and he even has his own rocking chair.  I just love them.

from everything that I have read, it does not mention anyone with him but who knows..
but another thing, if Joe had his own vehicle to drive down there, why did he have to borrow/take someone else's van that night?  I know that this has been asked and answered before, but I still can't get it straight in my head why he would have done that...

I know he had his own car because I remember the description......but, never heard that anyone was with him either, and of course Ron says he wasn't at the trailer that night (which he couldn't know..............because HE WAS AT WORK)

I dont know how he got there, but I read somewhere that he took a greyhound bus back home so thats why he didnt have a vehicle while he was there,

SATSUMA, FL -- Almost two months after 5-year-old Haleigh Cummings disappeared, Putnam County Sheriff Jeff Hardy still has staff dedicated to the case.

However, Hardy said the number of daily tips coming in about the case has decreased. He expected that to happen, but he also called that disappointing.

Thursday, Hardy spoke to First Coast News about the investigation.

He said while tips have declined, his office still receives information.

"It's just going to take that one lead or tip to break this case," Hardy said.

Hardy also said 17-year-old Misty Croslin Cummings is still the key to the investigation because she was the last person who saw Haleigh on February 9.

Misty was Haleigh's father's girlfriend. They got married about a month after Haleigh disappeared.

Misty has told reporters she was at home the entire night and put Haleigh and Haleigh's little brother to bed in their Satsuma home. She said she went to bed as well in the same room, woke up around 3 a.m. and noticed Haleigh was gone.

Hardy said there are still inconsistencies in Misty's story about that night.

He said, "We've spent over 30 hours interviewing Misty and we've had some of the brightest law enforcement minds in the world interview her, and we can't seem to bridge that gap."

Haleigh's mother's attorney, Kim Picazio, told First Coast News Thursday she and her staff have talked to eyewitnesses who saw Misty partying the night Haleigh disappeared.

"I have heard eyewitness accounts that she was not there, eyewitness accounts from different people," Picazio told First Coast News. "We've tried to ferret out those who may have had a grudge or reason to lie to us. We're left with a handful of people who have no reason to lie, in my opinion. They have stated that Misty was out that night."

Sheriff Hardy said, "It goes back to the inconsistencies with Misty's stories."

However, Hardy said he and his investigators cannot prove Misty was not at the house. He said his investigators have not spoken to anyone who saw Misty outside the home the night Haleigh disappeared.

While the investigators have received information from Picazio, Lt. Johnny Greenwood with the Putnam County Sheriff's Office said investigators have not received any names of individuals who saw Misty outside the home February 9th.

Picazio said she is working on providing the sheriff's office that kind of information.

Hardy said there have been distractions in the media lately surrounding Haleigh Cummings. Haleigh's father married Misty Croslin and there's been allegations of child abuse at the hands of Haleigh's father.

Hardy said, "All the civil stuff going on around us is distracting, but it's not taking us away from our investigation."

For sure cookie, that has bugged the hell out of me, when I heard Mr. Croslin went and spilled the beans.  I thought at that time, WOW...something is gonna break here....and here we still sit.   Yes, for sure, brought his own vehicle down, and yet had to use their van (not sure if he asked, or just took it).  So, would this be the SAME VAN that was checked out, or is this ANOTHER van???

I thought I'd search my local online news site.  I found 39 articles relating to child porn charges in this little town (and area) of about 80,000 people...in the last 5 years.  I think my BP just sky rocketed.

I hope Nancy Grace covers what Art Harris has uncovered and makes it really quite uncomfortable for Misty and Ron. But I guess if they get nervous, they will have to take some drugs to calm down and cope. Maybe they will get rip roaring ugly drunk and have it out.

SATSUMA, Fla. --- When many people think of parades, they probably have visions of floats and balloons, with plenty of food and smiles. At this year’s Catfish Festival in Crescent City, many will see something new. They’ll see Haleigh Bug Foundation volunteers passing out flyers with the missing 5-year-old’s photo.

“Haleigh has been missing since February 9th, and I want to keep her picture in everybody’s heads,” said Debbie Huddleston.

“My main focus is Haleigh and finding out where she is…it’s been too long and it’s too frustrating.”

Huddleston says she spent days on the phone with the festivals organizers trying to get permission to walk in the parade. At first, she says they were reluctant because the deadline had passed to register. Then on Wednesday, the organizers said it would be fine for them to walk.

“That’s all I want them to do is see Haleigh, that’s the main focus…keep Haleigh in the spotlight,” said Huddleston.

After Saturday’s Catfish Festival Parade, Huddleston says the group will be heading to the Putnam County Raceway where the organizer there has agreed to allow the Haleigh Bug Foundation collect donations and sell items to help find Haleigh. Huddleston also says she’s doing her best to get the foundations involved with the Green Cove State Fair. She wants to hopefully set up a booth where volunteers can pass out flyers.
