Searching , Im so sorry to hear about your dad..I also lost my dad last October..Theres not a day that goes by that I dont think of him...I like you was there to see him everyday in misery..Thought it would be easier when goes cuz then he wouldnt be in pain anymore...Trust me it doesnt make it easier cuz hes your dad..My thoughts are with you in this very sad time..God bless you and your family..

Searching ~  I want to share this with you.  When I lost both of my parents at ages 88 & 90, this was given to me.  I read it daily and it has brought much comfort to me knowing that God has his arms around them and has taken them away from further suffering.

         SAFELY HOME

I am home in Heaven, dear ones,

There is perfect joy and beauty
in this everlasting light.

All the pain and grief is over,
Ever restless tossing passed:
I am now at peace forever,
Safely home in Heaven at last.

Pray to trust our Father's Will.

There is work still waiting for you,

Thank you all. You will never know how much these kind words mean.The hospice nurse said He passed away peacefully about 30 minutes after my 19 year old son had left. He passed at 1:45 a.m
The nurses said he acknowledged my son being there and talking to him. Papers are signed at the funeral home and had to start cleaning his room at the house yesterday as well.I had been up from 6 a.m on Sunday and fell asleep at about 3 a.m this morning,got back up at 6 a.m. Not sure how I got thru yesterday without breaking down,but I did,must have been the prayers,thoughts and vibes from you all here holding me up. Have a lot of things to take care of,planning and calls and housework but will check back in when I have a moment. Thank you all so much
