George is first, Cindy is taping it for her scrapbook.

I think they are taping this so that they can study what they have said in order to be sure they say the same exact things as they have all along.  With all the lies this family tells they have to have some sort of documentation in order to keep up with it all.  She wants to be sure she can watch over and over again that which George says so she can hold in against him later if he messes up too I am sure.

I just got back so forgive me if someone already asked/suggested this.

Could that camera that CA set up transmit GA's testimony out to her - so that when she does hers, she knows what the questions are going to be and how GA answered?    Or is that idea tooo  "James Bond"??

So why not just say the same thing he did then if it was the truth *cough* ? Does he even remember what he said?

Did he tell a different story to the Grand Jury and that was kept secret yet he knows this will go public?

The 93-page transcript of George Anthony has been released. A reporter is reading it and will update.

George Anthony started off a bit combative with the lawyer for Zenaida Gonzalez. He did not want to go into details about what daughter Casey Anthony bought for the family house and how much money he gave her while she and her daughter Caylee lived there.


So far, George Anthony said he had never heard of Gonzalez until July of 2008. He did hear the name "Zanny" from his daughter a year prior to Caylee's disappearance. George Anthony even corrected the way attorney Keith Mitnik pronounced "Zanny."

ORLANDO, Fla. -- George and Cindy Anthony arrived at the law offices of Morgan and Morgan Thursday morning for a deposition to face tough questions in the civil suit against Casey (images | raw video).

Attorney John Morgan wants to find out everything Casey's parents know about a mystery baby-sitter by the name of Zenaida Gonzalez. Morgan's client, who has the same name as the mystery baby-sitter, is suing Casey Anthony for defamation of character.

Gonzalez says Casey ruined her life by saying a nanny with the same name took Caylee and was the last person to see her alive.

George and Cindy Anthony were escorted to the deposition by their attorney, Brad Conway, Thursday morning. They arrived just before 10:00 in downtown Orlando.

"Guys, we don't have any comment right now. We're just going to do this deposition and get it done," said Conway.

Inside John Morgan's courtroom, Cindy set up her video camera for her own records. George was the first to be questioned and Cindy is slated to be questioned about what she knows regarding Zenaida Gonzalez Thursday afternoon.

Eyewitness News has learned that the attorneys are having a hard time getting information out of George Anthony.

George and Cindy Anthony delayed the deposition once because they claimed they were too emotionally upset to be questioned under oath.

In a jail house conversation with her parents, Casey spoke about Gonzalez.

"I have told them many times to find a sketch artist, show me a picture, show me something and I can point her out to you," Casey said at the time.

Cindy told investigators she even questioned her daughter's story.

"Any thoughts at all? Can you say anything at all?" Cindy asked Casey.

Eyewitness News has also learned that John Morgan is banking on getting critical information out of the Anthonys that potentially could clear his client's name.

Gonzalez's attorneys have already questioned Casey's brother Lee and the family's former private investigator Jim Hoover.

Cindy Anthony is expected to have the most critical information. At one point, Cindy told investigators she did not believe anything Casey said about Gonzalez and that the whole story was made up.

One attorney for Gonzalez told Eyewitness News the questioning for George could go rather quickly, while Cindy's could take quite a while.
