I have now just finally came back to Sandra's cage. I have been reading online and Dolce was kind enough to tell me about .. the findings of Ms. Lawless/Huckaby.
I am with all of you deeply disturbed by everything.

I need to do some repair here I think. I want to apologize to Tracygirl. I think my brain split in two when they confirmed that Sandra was inside the suitcase.. and I didnt think prior to typing my reaction. I had only found out but a Minute or so .. and I responded here.
I feel the need to tell Tracygirl and Edward .. that it was not to you my anger came out ..was of the News that hit me like a train.  I apologize.

I don't think we will have to wait very long to hear at least the DA's theory as to the motive.  This case is developing at a very fast but cautious pace.

And I think regardless of the motives prescribed to MH, we will be most interested to learn the fate of those with the child pornography on their computers in any event.  At least I know I will.  Those children are victims as well and can live literally next door to any of us without our even knowing. 

There must be follow up on that in any event.

I have been doing some digging today and came across the family names of Lawless ..been poking around.
Was interesting to find .. maybe its already been posted.
I found two of the grandson's myspaces. What was of interest was the one 21 yr old's myspace. Caleb. Last login Yesterday. But says on his space that he is Buddhist and loves Kids ..yet not for him.

I know young people love to write comments that are of shock value to get a laugh. I don't take a comment on his (Calebs) page too seriously ..yet it is a bit ..

I know from my experience of knowing Kids that have had Parents of Clergy and or Kids in families that are dedicated to religion from day one ..Church being the only glue that sticks ..to call them a " family". The kids didn't ask to be brought into this style of living. And they when they grow up and become older Teens ..they seem to be the most reckless ..because they have been sheltered Way too much. I have a few friends that were brought up in the religion of Jehovahs Witness.. who say that their childhoods were ruined. I have heard stories that would curl your hair ..from my one gf who defected from the religion.  I worked with 4 women for 5 years ..young women that were raised JW. and 3 Left ..One stayed. They all have known each other from toddler-hood yet lived in different areas. 3 stood and have said its a cult *at least the group they belonged too. * I am not speaking for all JW's.
My one friend who I was trust my life with. She said that " sex and things that she didnt want to talk about" were involved with " church life" as a young girl. That she was abused.  She said it was Elders ..Men older than her own Grandfather and Girls as young as Sandra.. or younger. That she and her friends were all victims.
Her own Mother a member of her church all her life .. She told my GF when she chose to leave on her own as an adult - Your no longer my Daughter. When I met my GF she had not spoken to her Mom for 6 yrs. Her Mom would hang up the phone, if she called .. No contact. None.
Its so not right. She told me that ..her Mom knew everything too that went on .. 
But her Mom chose church over her child.
And I wonder how strong the affiliation runs in the Lawless family .. as far as who knows what and ..what is buried in the secrets.. that we may never know ..of Melissa Lawless.

Thank you for the legal details.  These days when a death is accidental, I think the reflex and reaction of most people would be to call 9-1-1.  It has been ingrained into us for years to do just that.

I don't buy any more the death by accident, then panic.  I know it is possible, I just don't think it likely.  Especially followed by putting the body in a suitcase, etc.

So I think you are helpful to state the specifics because I think one or more of those will remain the charges.  And I further speculate this will be a death penalty case.  The family will ask for it and they have the right to do that.

So now we know who, where and somewhat of the what.

I'll have to "retract" that comment as I can't find where I saw the information.  I checked my history, and can't locate it.  It could have been a comment to one of the news articles I read and just got everything jumbled in my mind.  Be that as it may, the charges appear to suggest a deliberate killing.

I guess I am just curious here... the only cases I have followed are out of FL with the "Sunshine Laws" ( God love um), do you think we will hear the full story on this? I am unfamiliar with Cali Law.

California is so HUGE and has so many Counties .. and yet nothing can be really researched.  Its all different laws ..via counties etc..

In a nutshell.... everyones record is on display. Even discovery in investigations, some states don't allow that IIRC. The Freedom of info act is available in all states but Fl always gives out more info. anyone else with a better explanation

Incredibly disturbing No Rose. These young women that I worked with. kneew each other via the Elders ..they did not attend the same church. From what I was told the Elders had certain " ceremonies" that were put together .. so to say .. that they " these young ladies recalled" and .. that's how they talked amongst themselves. Do you remember when ? and so on. 
3 of the 4 that defected from this religion - my gf was thankfully stable enough to go on with her life and create a life for herself. The other 2 are so lost and have been through Hell and back with Men that have abused them, mentally, physically and are heavy into drugs and alcohol and really have no destination in life. They learned a trade skill that they both are talented in .. but their lives as a whole .. Not cool. Like I said I could tell you stories ..that would curl your hair.. offered up by each and every one them. EXcept the One who stayed in the Church. She preaches its as beautiful as Sunsets and its all Peachy .. and Life is Grand .. she though never forced her beliefs on anyone.  She is a sweet girl. Very Smart Girl as well. She is the youngest though of the 4.
