A Criminologist named James Fox was on the CBS morning show. He wrote a book called "Why people kill."

He said he was only able to find one other case in the past 25 years where a woman (acting alone) raped, kidnapped and murdered a child that wasn't their own or in their own family.

  Rare but possible.

I'm still going to be surprised if no one else is charged.

She is a sicko, if found guilty of these charges.

Every bit as much of a sicko as Joesph Duncan, Richard Allen Davis and David Westerfield.

In fact she is a lot like David Westerfield for the fact that she knew the victim, lived closed by, was a divorced parent, llied to the police, didn't have a history of violence.....

I don't give her a pass just because she is a woman and an anomaly.
There shouldn't be a double standard, just because she is a woman.

She deserves the same punishment as any other murder who kidnaps and rapes a child. Death works for me. Life without parole...is better than  nothing.

ITA Pink Angel, man or woman it's all the same ... and like I would have happily give Richard Allen Davis the finger when he is executed, I'll do the same for her. (If you remember he flipped the courtroom bird at his sentencing hearing -- I believe.)

Curious to see if she has a public defender, or a lawyer from the area, that has a well established name? I'm leaning towards the second. I have a feeling we will hear of other things she has done with children, I don't for a second believe this was the first child that Melissa molestated.

On cbs13 news last night before I went to bed they again made a comment that MH & CS had dated.  This pretty much backs up what I had posted about what a Tracy person had said. They also showed Sinclair walking through the mhp. He does look like a real sleezeball!  I think we will be hearing more about him in the news either in this case or in another.

Sexual psychopaths
Predators generally have a psychopathic personality; she/he will only see herself/himself as omnipotent therefore, only the predator’s wants are important. Predators have and show no remorse and no guilt about inflicting such horrendous pain on any victim.  And predators will conjure up any excuse to justify her his disgusting and vile actions and expect others to believe the lie. “Psychopathic personality (n) behavior toward other individuals or toward society in which reality is usually clearly perceived except for an individual's social or moral obligations and which often seek immediate personal gratification in criminal acts, drug addiction or sexual perversion”. Sexual predators do not accept social or moral laws; they are corrupt in their thoughts and actions. The excuse ‘I see things differently’ is just that, an excuse to convince their perverse selves she he is right. We all see things differently it is the predator that sees others as a means to their depraved ends. 

Predators do carry out attacks in front of other depraved predators. Predators will seek out their own kind, because they will want to boast and brag about their attacks. Behind the kindly façade is a person who deems herself/himself a demigod.

Predators do attack in pairs, groups or they may have a confidant, someone to help her or him plan and keep others away from a victim or give an alibi for the predator. There are others who know the truth, but will not help a victim. Those who fail to help a victim, reinforces what the predator says to the victim; 'that no one cares', others will hurt them and will allow them to be hurt. It also reinforces the fear that adults and authority figures are not to be trusted. There is no empathy in a sexual predator; she/he willingly attacks another, by deception, by violence, by threat, by blackmail, by any means, predators seek to destroy.   


Sexual predators are sexual psychopaths. They are not insane. They know right from wrong and they understand the outcome of their actions. Sexual predators have no empathy for the victim. The female sexual predator and the male sexual predator seek complete control of the victim, and the surrounding events. They have the ability to show surface emotions around others only when it benefits them. They disguise themselves well. Sexual predators are always desperate to attempt to portray herself/himself as a good person, show casing their goodness, their politeness, their kindness. They can be viewed as normal and nice. However, Ted Bundy and other serial killers had the same ability. Sexual psychopaths may not kill the victim but she/he comes very close to it physically and spiritually. Evil always slips from the thin veil of the smile.

I don't know. I guess we will find out shortly. I heard it was a local lawyer. I didn't hear if it was a public defender or not.

I have been offline with major power outage and no contact wtih outside world for news for 24 hours, still shakey connection, but was just stunned to come back online and find this as the motive.

Well, it's just about always either sex or money. . . .but still, shocking.


And I remain Old School I guess in my belief that the guilty one is the one who did the crime regardless of their reason if they knew right from wrong.  Hiding a body indicates that one does know.  No exceptions and no excuses and zero tolerance.

Then we will talk about this 60 with child porn on their computers.  If interstate, etc. even internet the FBI should be handling this and so not so much a question of resources.  These kids are victims, too, and also deserve justice.

It may not of been mentioned in the story but the reporter David Begnaud has mentioned it twice during different newscasts.

And never forget Joran van der Sloot in the Natalee Holloway tragedy.  Most believe drugging was involved in that as well. 

With even a rumor of that having happened in the past involving this woman, it is just the same nightmare all over again only this time  a female behind it.  Because of the rarety of that, it makes it even sicker to me. 

It's a shame some people can't be executed twice.  A double death penalty or something like that.

I watched that this morning Grama..horrendous comes to mind...
this woman needs to be punished beyond punished in my mind! how sick!

What I am blathering about and what is bugging the heck out of me is this lethal injection aspect and this person already having attempted suicide.  It's too much like she gets her own way in the end!  And a psychologist said to be suicidal is not at all rare in sexual predators etc.

At least she will spend many miserable years in jail even before being executed if convicted.  But for it to be painless and something she had in mind with suicide makes it not seem bad enough punishment.  And yes, I am all about punishment and do believe it is a deterrent to others no matter what we are told to the contrary.

I want the level of suffering to be in proportion to that of the victim.

Then I think we would finally see a reduction in the number of these predators.

Scary but true! Last night I viewed mug shots someone posted here from offenders who comitted high profile crimes.... I couldn't always pick out the SO from the DUI cases, you really can't trust anybody!
