I agree with you, but I have really been wrong before. Certainly from appearances she doesn't fit that profile. 

 If we are agreeing, does that mean that is what her family is trying to say?  This doesn't sound like the girl they knew?

This one is a puzzler.
Grandma says she was in the house. So, no screaming or struggle if we are to believe her Grandmother.
We have no mention of where Lane Lawless was that evening.

When they recovered the suitcase, they spent alot of time out there, checking tire tracks.

The 5 year old daughter was whisked away the next day. Preplanned ? Perhaps. Maybe Melissa was getting nutso before this happened and someone decided to remove the kid. Plus Melissa had a court appearance April 17. There was a three year probabtion and a mental health check.

There could have been a mis diagnosis and meds given in the past that weren't working or she wasn't taking them.

It's possible. I do think she is involved, I do think she is a responsible party to little Sandra's death. I do think they have one of the right people, however I do not think she acted alone.
I have read of plenty of weak minded women who have done horrible things in the name of "love" for the man in their life. Perhaps that is what we are looking at here at least to some degree.
I don't know, I have no answers. I just know that there is more to this then meets the eye. Then again, isn't there usually?

The part that I question with others  being involvement , is the part about rape with a foriegn object.  If it were a man, would that be used?  I guess I am naive.  I didn't thinks so, but guess about this sort of thing I am.  (and I am glad I am)

When I look at MH I see a person who is upset with herself and ashamed of what she did. I think this maybe more of a compulsion issue rather then anything else. Her compulsion kept growing until this happened. Whether she meant to kill Sandra I don't know, I tend to think not.

STOCKTON, Calif. -- Two new search warrants were issued Tuesday in relation to the Sandra Cantu case.

The focus of one warrant was the West Clover Road Baptist Church and the other was the residence of 28-year-old Melissa Huckaby, who is accused of killing 8-year-old Cantu.

The search of the church was completed and officers said the search of Huckaby's home is still under way.

Officials have not said what prompted the new search warrants.

For some reason I still feel that she is covering for someone or someones.  It could be her own child, her grandfather, sig-other, a porn ring of persons.....I just do not buy that this woman is the only responsible person/party for Sandra's demise.

I heard on one of the HLN programs today that MH's daughter was always kept inside...she did not go outside to play with the other children...Sandra came over to play with the little girl, but it was always inside...She is supposedly skinny and has allergies? <someone on the show said that.....Most children want to be outside when it is bright and sunny out...something is wrong that this little kid was always kept inside imo....especially when other children are outside playing and she is stuck in the house by herself? how sad....

This is a different kind of kat to me also, I'm usually very fast on my opinions if I feel someone has done something, don't take me long at all to say yup, this person killed their child, or this person kidnapped and killed this person, but for some reason I'm hesitating on this. And it has nothing to do with a woman commiting this kind of crime, that is not it at all. Something is not adding up to me, I hate to even say this, but is it possible because of the high profile of this case and the pressure of LE, and the problem in Tracy with the child porn and with the case of Kyle, that this is a rush to judgement? Please don't throw nanners, just a thought I am having.

I think they have one of the right people. I do think she is involved and I do think there is more to the story. Like you though I am not having trouble with this simply because she is a woman, more because something just feels off to me. Things are not adding up, she is not adding up.

If that is true about the allergies, as a child I had severe allergies, and I could not do a lot of things other kids were able to, put I wasn't kept in the house like a prisoner. But maybe with the allergies she also has asthma, and couldn't run and do like the other kids, which I also had, and it is hard on a child.

If that is true about the allergies, as a child I had severe allergies, and I could not do a lot of things other kids were able to, put I wasn't kept in the house like a prisoner. But maybe with the allergies she also has asthma, and couldn't run and do like the other kids, which I also had, and it is hard on a child.

That is possible, but my son has allergies and asthma, there are pretty good controller medications for asthma and allergies, I have never kept him inside and not allowed him to play. I think it is weird that the child was not allowed to go outside and play, and I wonder why she wasn't allowed to do so. Maybe the child did not like to go outside and play, but maybe there is something more there.
